The location is outstanding and the balcony overlooking Saltburn by the Sea is fantastic.

Fantastic location with a balcony over looking the sea - simply beautiful
A few extra dishwasher tablets would have been handy but everything else was great!

The location is excellent. There’s everything you need during your stay. There’s plenty of places to eat locally. I recommend walking to Marske-by-the-sea on the beach. The outside seating area is very comfortable and has great views out to sea.

Property location is fabulous and beautifully decorated. Beds are super comfy!!
It’s a little dated and run down. Cupboards and fridge door felt like they could fall off at any moment!
A lot of dog hair on the carpet!

The size and natural light were great. Lots of seating indoors and out. Great to have a little outside space to sit. Large rooms. Comfy bed. Large kitchen and dining area. Amazing sea view with large bay window and seating. Would definitely return
Whilst there were loads of plates and bowls, these were all plastic (really nice ones though) and not suitable for microwave use which was an issue as wanted to reheat some food we’d made the previous night and no other suitable microwaveable containers.

The location was incredible, providing a panoramic view of the sea, beach, pier and cliffs, which was truly stunning. The owners really play to this strength and have created multiple seating areas, perfect for indulging in the view, including the living room, both bedrooms and an exterior balcony, all with comfortable and stylish seats.
The decor and furniture are very high end and the apartment has wonderful high ceilings and period features.
It was perfect for a family of 5, with bunk beds and a large double in one room that accommodated 3 kids comfortably and a separate large double bedroom with ensuite for the adults
The fact that this property is pet friendly, while maintaining such luxury is fantastic
Some of the fittings were a little tired around the edges. Multiple kitchen plinths and doors were either loose or badly fitted. The bathroom suites are nice, but again there are some rough edges, exposed pipes and vents filled with expanding foam.

The apartment is absolutely massive with a gorgeous space and huge windows to sit and watch the sea view and the location is perfect!
There was no microwave which was hard as we have a toddler so warming up his milk and food was abit of a pain using the stove.
We were also told there would be a high chair but I couldn’t find it anywhere.
There were no mirrors in the bathrooms which was strange and the shower in the en suite was impossible to get a shower in it was either red hot or freezing.

The apartment is huge, plenty of space and very luxurious. The location was excellent for all the restaurants, bars and shops. You cannot hear the street or traffic noise. The kitchen has every appliance you need including washing up liquid, tea towels, bin bags etc. Plenty of bathroom towels are provided and sufficient toiletries. Nice having the outdoor balcony space with lovely views. Although there isn't allocated parking, this wasn't a problem for us as we managed to get parked outside.
The front entrance to the apartments was really off putting, with some cushions and a mop and bucket, not really very welcoming. There aren't any leaflets on the nearby area, maybe this is something that can be provided in the the entrance instead. There are no fire exit instructions in the property at all which we found very unusual, also didn't spot a carbon monoxide alarm. We assumed the fire exit was the back stairs one flight down, which was littered with rubbish and had light switches hanging off the walls. We personally would prefer blinds or curtains at the kitchen and living room windows. The views out the front living room are lovely, but it would be nice for privacy to shut some blinds. Same for the kitchen window, except the view which is an unkept back yard. The fridge needs some attention as it was catching slightly when opening the door. Also, a mirror is needed in at least one of the two bathrooms to allow for shaving etc etc. It would also be useful to have some instructions in the kitchen on how to use some of the appliances, for example the coffee machine.
The biggest downside for us was the noise at night from the ensuite bathroom vent. It kept flapping (outside cover we think) which made an intermittent noise. Also, we couldn't get the ensuite shower to work , it was either way too hot or too cold. The tap in the ensuite also had an issue with water pressure.
We also had an unexpected visitor on the friday evening, a lady let herself in with a set of keys saying they had been left in her key safe.
It might sound like a long list of negatives but they were only small things that can easily be rectified and overall we had a really lovely time.
