Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The front desk staff were outstanding: we received incredible service, and they were always friendly and attentive to resolve any problems or questions that came up during our visit. The restaurant staff also treated us wonderfully; the food was good, and breakfast was especially delicious. Our rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool area is beautiful, with a spectacular view that’s truly worth it.
The only suggestion I’d make is for the hotel to consider updating the bathrooms in the common areas, like in the lobby, restaurant, and pool area, and ensuring they are kept cleaner. Additionally, it would be amazing if the pool bar could be open, at least on the weekends.
Overall, our experience was very positive. I think the cost of the hotel is fair for what it offers, and I would definitely recommend it.

Need a bit of TLC. The staff's are helpful and friendly

I think some other reviewers are expecting 5 star quality at this 3 star hotel. We have just stayed for three nights and had a lovely time, it’s such a shame to see this hotel so quiet as I’m sure it would be amazing with more guests and some money put into sprucing up the outside areas and bathrooms. The rooms themselves are very comfortable and clean, the sea view from the balcony is the highlight of this place though, spectacular! The breakfast wasn’t always to my taste but that’s just my preference, my partner very much enjoyed it.
Air con works great, bar has a good selection of drinks and is open all day. I didn’t use the gym but my partner did and said it was very good. The ‘pool bar’ really needs sorting, it’s fine to not be open but they need to sort out the hanging off wood and black tarpaulin covering it.
Waves restaurant down on the beach is lovely and very convenient for lunch/dinner - you sometimes have to walk through grafton beach hotel to get down to the beach which is fine.
Overall a pleasant stay, it would be great to come again in future when more tourists are heading to Tobago as the atmosphere would be fantastic with a few more people!

Property is a dated and need to be updated and maintained a bit more otherwise everything is good
3.4
Staff was helpful.
Breakfast was excellent
Hotel needs some maintenance.
Rooms are okay.
3.4
It was an all adult resort nothing much to do around the area but I did hire my own private driver to take my around

The management needs to convert dark spaces along corridors where there are bat residing in the night to storage spaces or they can instal lights to ward off bats.
There are clearly too many open open spaces under stairs etc that are providing habitats for these creatures..
Other than our encounter with this situation ..our stay was very good.
The breakfast options were absolutely amazing...
3.4
Friendly and helpful staff. The food was absolutely delicious.
3.4
There is no food on the compound except for breakfast. Bar always close.
3.4
Restaurants and beaches in close proximity, excellent location and the staff were quite helpful and friendly.

All was good

Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean. Area was quiet.
3.4
Extremely friendly staff. Lovely property but severely under-used/under-managed….so much potential. Facilities need upgrading but we had a good stay.

First of all, the staff was very accommodating. Each staff member seemed to wear many hats. The staff tried their best with what they had to work with. The hotel needs to be revamped totally. Rust everywhere, broken furnitures. I was told that I could not get WiFi in the room because I’m too far away from the front,WHAT!!! If I needed to make a call I would have to go to the front.
The phone also needed to change. Not
working
My mother was with me. Imagine an aged woman with a cane climbing all those steps to get to the restaurants. It’s as one of the reviews stated”this is not a resort for the elderly or handicapped.
If it weren’t for the staff and food, my stay here would have been a total bust
I definitely will not ever stay here again

My husband and I really like the view overlooking the ocean. The staffs was very pleasant, breakfast was excellent. The rooms are outdated it is in dying need of renovation.

Nice place

Stayed twice already. Will be staying again.

The sunset beach view is amazing!

The very humid reception area without at least a fan was manned by a lovely young lady working alone. She had to check in and accompany guests to their rooms, I simply asked for directions because there was a queue behind us.
Walking downstairs we were met with glass doors to the bar area which were extremely dirty. Tattered paintwork lined the building which clearly needs an overhaul, unkept grounds and moss filled ponds some of which were stagnant. The poor koi fishes do not have long in such filth!
Upon entering the room we met the wardrobe door off the tracks precariously hanging, we daren’t attempt to use it. The shower area was lovely but the mirror in the bathroom needs to be replaced, no idea what was behind it.
We visited the decking area over the swim up bar which clearly hasn’t been swept nor mopped in a while. Furniture worn and stained..sit at your own risk!
Cobwebs within the light fixtures in the restaurant and everywhere our eyes fell. The view from our room was amazing, staff clearly overwhelmed and still trying to give good service with sadness behind their smiles.
Being Trini by birth who lives in the UK my friend was astonished with the tasteless breakfast having eaten my food.
How can anyone make this hotel operate in that state?
It needs to be shutdown and revamped which perhaps is easier said than done 😞
The AC in the room, the view and staff are the only reason I didn’t give ONES throughout. Sad times!!!

Overall good stay, the breakfast however was not good.

The Pool was amazing, and the courtyard around the pool was great and spacious. The room was clean and beds comfortable, A/c worked well, love the balcony view of the sea
3.4
This was only for younger folks and energetic people NOT FOR ELDERS OR DISABLED people.
No ELEVATOR or ESCALATOR
WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE AWARE UPON BOOKING
We really could not enjoy the property since it was difficult to move around
There was no aircon in the main lobby
3.4
The ocean view was calming
3.4
My room front door needs fixing and the glass door leading to the porch kept coming off the rails in room 217.
Otherwise it's a nice place.
3.4
Excellent, with one downside, the WiFi was real crappy!

After reading many reviews before booking, I hope this helps the next person looking to book.
The property is wonderful, anyone to complain truly that’s disappointing. Rooms were spacious, clean and above average for a typical room. The pool is absolutely wonderful and open 24 hours. Waves & Seahorse restaurant is basically on the property and are two fantastic choices. The beach is a solid beach. We were there Sun-Tues and it was very quiet, the swim up bar was open on Sunday until 6 but closed Mon & Tues but we were really the ones at the pool so I understand why it was closed. The breakfast in the morning was great, made to order and lots of options.
Only feedback is, the resort was quiet so hours are limited on everything and it’s about 15 mins from the main part of town.
Frankies tours was great and super reasonable price at only 150 TT PP and if you have time go to Pigeon Point, you can easily spend the full day at Pigeon Point.

The property design is very nice, however, it is somewhat unkept and in need of maintenance. The service is at a bare minimum, with a pleasant staff member in between. The good thing is that the facility has a very nice pool and is close to the beach. The room we stayed in for 2 nights was spacious and comfortable and amenities available. The hotel is good if you're interested in solitude but there aren't any activities on the property. Having said that, the price for what you get is good. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, since we had our car, and were able to move around as we wanted. We are however, inclined to try a new hotel the next time we visit Tobago.
3.4
We need to stay overnight to get our connecting to Tobago.
The hotel was clean, staff was helpful. Check in and out was very easy.
3.4
Awesome oceanview, very nice. We visited this hotel during low-season (March/April). Service level is reduced since almost no customers. However, the staff did what they could to offer well crafted drinks and arrange taxi pickup service.
The place itself has come into years of service. A general renovation of several details such as floor tiles, lights, bath ventilation needs to be upgraded.
3.4
Our room was facing the ocean which was awesome…room was clean with lovely sheets and towels. Breakfast was included…food was freshly made and delicious. Staff in the office and breakfast room were helpful and oh so nice..five stars to the staff. Very enjoyable stay.

3.4
The staff was very unpleasant and disrespectful

Worst service ever . Actually there is no service in this hotel . Vars are closed , food is very limited. Poor quality and very limited breakfast . No help or detailed explaining while checking in .
All amenities are very poor quality . I do not recommend anyone to visit this hotel .
