Pet Policy:
We are glad to host your pets too. Regardless of how well trained the pet is, we have found pets do crazy things at unfamiliar locations. I really do not want to charge for cleaning carpets or floor rugs. It’s a pain, so please READ carefully! Thank you!
We ask for compliance in a few house rules:
•Do NOT invite them onto the furniture so we can keep it in great condition for all who are to come!
•DO NOT allow them into the bedrooms. Keeping the doors closed will make this easy. We just replaced the carpets in many locations and want to keep them fresh and pet smell free.
•We encourage you to bring your pets favorite bedding and blankets to prevent marking or nervous accidents. Trust us, they do happen!
•Please keep them on wood flooring, use the baby gates provided or close bedroom doors to ensure compliance.
•Let me know if you do not have extra bedding for them, I will provide it to you.
•The bathroom tub or showers are for humans only.
•When taking your pet out to the bathroom, please pick up after them. Other guests will greatly appreciate your taking responsibility for this.
•Lastly, please do NOT Leave them alone unkenneled. We offer Rover service , if you are going to be gone and cannot take your animal or kennel them. Let us know and we can arrange it!
There is a $40 per week per pet fee for dogs (capped at $120 per month), Any other pets will be considered on a case by case basis- please inquire. If you already paid it through your reservation, great! If not, please reach out and we can discuss the various channels depending on how you booked that we can use.
*Violations of house rules may result is a $250 fine.

We enjoyed our visit at this house. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay over five days. It has a nicely-appointed kitchen (full-size stove, oven, and refrigerator; coffee brewer and electric kettle; microwave; sufficient dishware, utensils, and kitchen tools to cook). There are window air-conditioning units in the master bedroom and living room which helped to keep those spaces cool during a spell of hot weather (mid 90s for a few days). The living room has a smart TV and the home’s WiFi signal is quite strong. There is also a large fenced backyard with a comfortable covered deck and a gas grill.
The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful at night. The town of Philomath has several good restaurants. Well-stocked grocery stores are nearby. And there are lots of hiking trails for exploring the outdoors.

My Husband and adult son and I stayed in Philomath to explore the area and visit the coast. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in a small town. Location is perfect for what we wanted. The home is small bur adequately furnished, not luxury bur cleverly remodeled. We had a problem with the smell in the microwave, told the owner and ultimately just put up with it.

Comfortable and easy to get back and forth to Corvallis.

When we arrived at the house we were surprised by the look of the home as the exterior did not match the pictures from the listing. We soon realized the pictures on the listing were only of the backyard. We booked this home because it had A/C, which is needed in July. However, the A/C is one window unit in the master and one in the living room but none in the other two rooms, which would have made sleeping uncomfortable. We feel this listing was overpriced for the location and condition of the home based on a previous stay in a similar size home in Corvallis a couple weeks prior. We were not able to complete our stay due to a family member not feeling well but the home was clean and property was quiet.

Appreciated the quietness of the location. While my last Vrbo host contacted me twice, this one was at least six times via Vrbo plus seven texts, including sales pitches for other property rentals. My precise check-in and check-out times were requested after I'd already agreed to the standard 3:00PM check-in and 11:00AM check out times. It was a 97 degree day when we arrived and it took until after 9PM before the renovated mobile home, the listing says house but it is actually a mobile home, felt comfortable. We're only two guests and only used the master bedroom where the mattress sags. My husband and I had to keep trying to roll out of the "valley", however, when we could manage to stay on the "crest" the mattress was comfortable. The master bathroom is missing the wall above the sliding doors, resulting in a lack of privacy and a flood of light should one need the restroom at 2AM while another is sleeping. We're asked to do the towel laundry before leaving to get our full cleaning deposit back. We were also messaged that we would not receive our cleaning deposit back until we left our review. We didn't pay a cleaning deposit/fee at our last Vrbo. We did not use the kitchen, so cannot comment about that. We loved the decor and the quiet location.

This house worked for homebase for our family reunion weekend and graduation party. The house itself is older, but it has been fixed up nicely and had all the essentials. We were a short drive to everything we needed.

Very nice and clean layout. The ironing board was nice and it doubles as a luggage rack.

This was a great bargain for the amount of space. Comfortable, clean, 10 minutes from the school. Thanks!

This country getaway is located in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Philomath. It's beautifully decorated, and has great amenities--two bathrooms, three large bedrooms, great kitchen area with a large refrigerator, snacks, recycling bin--it's gorgeous inside and wonderfully clean. I will happily stay here again in a heartbeat! My quirky rule for great stays is: are there Kleenex boxes? Because that's an especially nice and thoughtful touch. The Country Getaway passed that test and more. Thank you, Mary!!
