Only complaint was the primary bath shower was dirty and there were a couple dead roaches. Otherwise, cute place!

We used to live in Georgetown and my husband’s brother who still lives in Georgetown hosted a Texas Celebration for our oldest son and new daughter-in-law who were married a few months ago out of state, but were in Texas.
While we were only at the house to sleep, we all slept good as the beds were very comfortable.
There arr some really nice pieces of furniture that I suspect are family treasures that added to the cuteness of the house.
Also, James was a great host and very accommodating.

From the community pantry, short walk to San Gabe Park, SU or downtown pantry and host communication- felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend if you want to walk to the square or Southwestern University campus.

This cute house was perfect for the 6 of us. The house had everything we needed and was close to great restaurants. I lost an earring while we were there and they found it and contacted us the same day so we could pick it up. We will definitely stay here again! An added bonus were the beautiful flowers and swings for the kids!

This cozy, historic home was perfect for a girlfriends' getaway to Georgetown. Perfect front porch for sipping coffee in the morning, wine in the evening, and the house is walkable to the town square. We can't wait to come back.

Truly a five star property in well located section of Georgetown.

We booked the house because it is so close to our son’s house in Georgetown, and close to the square. We loved this house, and will stay again if we bring more family back. One morning we walked to the square for coffee, it is a lovely little stroll.
We had my son and his family come to the house and had most family meals there. It was spacious, and the kitchen had plenty of dishes to accommodate my cooking. I have used VRBO many times, but have never seen a cupboard labeled Community. It was nice having a couple essential like honey and cinnamon in case you forgot them. We ran out of paper plates and used a couple that were there. We felt confident to leave the things we would normally have to take out too, like salt/pepper which worked great, because we were flying home.
All light switches were labeled and we really liked that! My parents ended up staying with us at the property and not my son’s house and were very comfortable, theirs and our bed was super comfy.
Lots of walkers on the street, fun to watch. The vintage toys kept our grandkids entertained when they came over. It was hard explaining to our four year old granddaughter that is used to us staying in a hotel, that this was not our house (she was really hoping we would move there) so we settled on telling her it was our friends house. She stated at the end of the trip that she really liked our friends house 😊 So the house got approval all the way around!

We enjoyed our stay at your quaint home. We loved the vintage charm and the location. We were able to walk to all the Georgetown activities we planned. Thanks to our host for the excellent communication and suggestions and making the check in/ out so easy. We would rent this home again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seventh and Pine while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Having seen this house in our younger years, we were very impressed with the recent renovations. My daughter raved about the comfort of her bed and the fact that each room had its own heating/cooling element. While she was comfortable with no heat on in her room at night, the baby in the next room was warm with her heater cranked up. The house is in a perfect location and has so much to offer. We will be back!

We were traveling for daughters birthday and a wedding and the house was perfect for us. The host was amazing and very open and available for questions and fun information about the area. I would highly recommend this property it has great character and is in a great location close to everything. Very comfortable. We would visit again next time in town, Thank you James for making our weekend easy and memorable.

We booked our stay with the intentions of going to see our son & SU play & WIN the first home game! The house was really roomy which we liked and the best part was that it was within walking distance of where our son lives! It was a very HOT weekend! The house was comfortable and the beds were GREAT! There are window units in almost all the rooms of the house. The only downfall was that there was only 1 TV so we all had to settle in having to "HANG OUT" together...which was kinda fun. The young adults had to hang out with their parents. I will DEFINITELY stay here again in the near future!

This place worked well for a family get together. I would like to come back when the weather is cooler to enjoy the large outdoor area. The host was great. He responded quickly when we asked him.

Quaint older home and fun Georgetown. House was great. Remind me my grandparents home. Always fun to stay in Georgetown. Kitchen was lovely and inspired me to cook except it was a Texas summer, so maybe next time. Thank you.

We had wonderful time! I love old homes, so I enjoyed the house. It was clean, cozy and homey. My family members loved it as well. It’s close to the Square so there is plenty of things to do. We didn’t have any problems, but James made sure to let us know he was available if any problems arise. I would highly recommend staying here. The neighborhood is quaint. The people are friendly.
Thanks James for sharing your family home with us!

Nostalgic for both my 80 year old friend and my 53 yr old self, but with just right updates! Charming AND comfortable with high ceilings, stripped walls and original bath fixtures alongside comfy beds and full size front loading w/d. Nothing sounds like a screen door or walking across original wood flooring! Extra perk was covered parking, especially with Texas weather! The BEST communication and we appreciated learning the home’s history.

We had a gathering of spelunkers from the late 60’s from as far south as Pueblo, Mexico, and north Port Angeles, Washington. A great time was had by all.
Of course , the backyard red poppy’s were excellent in bloom.

This is a cute, comfortable and convenient house for a gathering in Georgetown. Some friends from Dallas and Austin, Matt here for one overnight in the middle of the week to see a friend that lives in Georgetown. This house, that has been in the same family for four generations. Now, was cozy, and very accommodating. The host, James, Was flexible and kind. We had to reschedule due to the ice storm, and are so glad we did. After a day of enjoying The Square, we spent time playing cards around the beautiful oak table. I recommend this property for anyone that wants to feel at home with family or friends. We will return, and the midweek accommodations did not disappoint. Check it out VRBO community.

Our group used the house for a short time for a family gathering, and it was perfect. We had a great time. James left us a box of delicious mini cupcakes which all enjoyed.
It would be perfect for a family that wants to prepare meals together because the kitchen is very large and includes a dinette set off the kitchen, a formal dining area, and stools to sit at the bar.
