This property has the potential to be excellent - location is great, nice accessories, big property, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, views are tremendous (when it’s not blowing a gale)and the open deck is great - BUT there are some significant shortcomings.
- the kitchen cabinets need finishing, particularly the fridge door.
- the lighting in the hallway and stairway was not working
- no window in the main bedroom was openable
- the main bathroom with a step up to the showers and toilet is extremely dangerous and needs hi-lighting . Night time bathroom trips could be dangerous!
- the door handle on the main entry door was loose
- there were no operating manuals for the appliances
- the entrance gate sticks and makes it difficult to gain access
- the heated towel rail does not operate independently of the overall heating system
- insufficient number of power sockets in the bedrooms
- the main entrance door to the apartment complex was frequently left unlocked raising security issues
We had a lot of heavy rain and the decorative coving fell off the wall as water penetrated in to the apartment. There was further evidence of water ingress through the walls below the living room windows.
All of the windows,(some cracked or broken) , doors, need to be replaced. There were mole spores on the walls beneath them where damp and rain is coming through.
Could be really good but more work needs to be done.
