Egberto and Maria are both so lovely and made us feel super welcome! The room is basic but clean. The beds were ok - one very springy and noisy and the other just foam. We enjoyed Masaya overall and felt welcome
It’s a bit of a walk to town but the neighbourhood feels safe. It’s not really an apartment but just a big room split by drywall which would probably have been better as one big room. The bathroom is a bit strange with toilet and shower then sink outside in the room.

No me puedo quejar.

Really friendly and helpful owners, plenty of space in the apartment, comfy bed, mozzie net and a good strong fan. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet and it's a short walk into the centre of town. Highly recommended!

Super friendly, welcoming people and the dog was nice too. Very available at all times, very clean. I came walking from the bus terminal at the market and initially had some trouble finding the address as people didn’t know the place, but as soon as I found the right neighborhood, locals told me where to go without even asking and Maria + her husband were already awaiting me at the door
Nothing, all good

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here.
Also organized a trip to the Volcano with a good price for us.
Would definately come back!!

Very hospitable and helpful hosts. I did not expect the room to be so large, apart from the bedroom it had a bathroom, a balcony and a large room with armchairs. Walking distance from the center. Clean. We stayed one night more than planned. The best value for money during my entire 8 month trip across North and Central America. 10/10

The hosts were amazing, always helpful with everything and very kind.
The facilities, it was very good value for money. There was a balcony in our room, there are windows and there are a room and a living room just for ourselves and a private bathroom with shower.
It's close to the Malecón (7 minutes walking) where is a nice place to rest and with an amazing sunset with the volcano and a little lake views. Maria recommend us a taxi driver who took us to see the vulcano at night and it was such an experience (much cheaper than going on the tour to the volcano and the driver stayed with was and recommended the best places to see the lava, the museum and after the best places to eat in town). The house is located in a very quiet road, and in a peaceful neighborhood (you can walk or taki a bus from there). I would definitely come again

There's a ton of space and it's very cheap. The owner is very responsive on Whatsapp.
There are a lot of mosquitoes. You get a mosquito net but will still get bit when you go to the bathroom.

Maria and her husband are incredibly kind and helpful. They both speak English and are a wealth of information about Masaya, the volcano and onward travel to Granada (or I’m sure Léon, if one is going that way). The apartment is above a small shop, and although sparsely decorated, it was nice to have a “living room” separate from the bedroom. They served us fresh fruits and coffee in the morning for a fair price. I wish Maria and her husband all the best with their new endeavor. As of early February 2023, they have only been open a little over one month. I highly recommend a stay in Masaya and definitely at Casa Maria. Thank you both for a lovely stay!
It was not a problem for me but it was about 5 blocks from the Central Park and a few more blocks to the bus station. This could be a long walk for some, especially in the heat of the day. There is a bus that drops off/picks up a few houses from the accommodation but I have no idea how to catch it.
