It was clean
Equipped for breakfast but I couldn’t wait to get out so didn’t bother
This on first glance looks like you get the whole apartment you do not. I did not realise there are 5/6 rooms ( double) & you all share 2 toilets & 2 showers. Which gets very busy
The location area is like a ghetto
We stayed 1 night & didn’t venture out
as on our arrival the host collected us from ferry & couldn’t get close to apartment to park as carnival was on so we saw the detritus & poverty as we walked thru the area & didn’t feel safe. The apartment block looks ready for bulldozers inside & out. The hosts supply a “taxi” service which is expensive but no other taxi knows where this place is so you’re trapped.

Rien...

Location
Thr bathroom and kitchen is a shared space with other occupants. This totally caught me off guard.

convenient location, good walking distance from downtown.
kitchen well equipped for breakfast and meals preparation.
needs more table and chair for eating when 4 rooms are occupied. sharing the fridge space can be difficult to manage for all tenants.
buses don’t run on weekends and holidays

It was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge we could use and some cooking basics if needed. you could easily walk to point à pitre and there are a lot of restaurants to eat around.
The neighbourhood felt a bit unsafe and the building itself (outside of the rental space) looked like it was falling apart. The front door is left open so anyone could come in and out of the apartment. only your bedroom door is closed.

I stayed two nights, one at each end of a trip to Domenica. Jerome and his sister were the staff I met, and they went out of their way to make stay pleasant. Through Jerome, I was picked up from the airport, and taken to the airport on the way back - coming in, my flight was delayed, but Jerome put contingency plan into place without fuss. At first sight, the surroundings of the apartment block are not inviting. However, I was able easily to walk to the ferry terminal the morning after arrival to get ferry to Domenica, and do the walk in the other direction on my way home. On my way home, I had a bit more time to explore, and really appreciated the proximity to the hotel de ville, Place de Victoire, and other sights in the downtown area. When I arrived, it was carnival time - streets were lively, but the apartment was quiet.
There is a shared kitchen and indoor and outside seating area. I really appreciated being able to have cereal, toast, tea, coffee, and Guadeloupe confitures in fridge. On both stays, met really interesting people who were staying there.
I would definitely stay again
The elevator was a bit eccentric. Used stairs when I was finally leaving.
The exterior of the building looks a bit 1970s brutal and run down, but belies really good apartment inside

The location is perfect stay for a short time. Very easy access to the airport by local bus. It is in the center of the city to explore.
Fantastic host, very helpful and attentive.

When you lease out your apartment you have to tell the truth. That you are not leasing the apartment but just ONE ROOM in the apartment full with other people.
