With the kitchen, dining room and living room situated on the home's second level in an open floor plan layout, Sea Gem's reverse floor plan immerses these rooms with fabulous natural light and ocean views. Upon entering the home, you'll find a den around which four of the home's bedrooms (including one of the two master suites) are located as well as a stairwell to the second floor and a back porch that leads to a stairwell down to the backyard, pool & patio. On the second floor of the home, you will find an open floor plan layout between the kitchen, living room and dining room. You'll also find the home's second master suite on the second floor, a half bathroom and a covered porch accessible through the living room. Follow the staircase to the third floor to find a game room with a foos ball table, two bunk bedrooms, a bathroom and access to the balcony. You can enjoy a morning coffee outside on one of Sea Gem's many exterior balconies. Off-street parking on the driveway & garage for up to 7 cars is included in the rental rate.
Sea Gem is tucked away in a very quiet residential neighborhood. Please be mindful of the residential character of the home -- and respectful of our neighbors -- throughout your stay.

We rented this house for my whole family to celebrate my mother's 83rd birthday. It was great to have a place with 7 bedrooms, a pool and literally across the street from beach access. The house was really great, with many porches, tvs and space for everyone. The only very minor issues were that there was no ball for the foosball table and that in typical rental homes there are sometimes general supplies left from other guests such as tinfoil or zip lock bags or some spices. This house has nothing at all (except they seem to allow everyone to leave coffee filters).

We very much enjoyed our time at this house. We had a large group of 17 girls, and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was in a great location in Isle of Palms, walking distance to the beach which was a plus. The backyard was great for hanging out and swimming, and the outdoor deck on the second level of the front of the house was perfect too. The house was very nice and worked out great for our big group. The only hiccup we had was the hot tub was not working the first day we wanted to use it, which was a bummer. But they got someone in the next day to fix it, so appreciate them working fast to get that fixed.

There was plenty of space to all gather together and spaces for people to break off to work privately. The bedrooms were nice and we enjoyed spending time on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked and had many amenities, so it was easy to prepare meals for our group. The location was great and so easy to enjoy walks on the beach.
The only thing we would recommend is to consider the charges for the pool and hot tub. We opted not to pay the extra, but it would have been nice to have the hot tub be included in the rental fees. The owners were very responsive when the air on the top floor went out, but were unable to get somebody out in time to get it fixed.
Again overall the house was great and we would recommend it.

We rented this house Thanksgiving week and it was perfect. Plenty of room for all ages and the kitchen well equipped for making big family meal! Beautiful views and perfect location on IOP.

The house is large enough for a big group (we were a group of 12) and nice. Unfortunately, dealing with the property management was a burden. The hot tub fee of $75 per day was frustrating but that information was shared with me upon booking. Fair enough. The restrictions were an annoyance. We had to request to use the hot tub each time we wanted to via text message and then it would take about an hour to heat up. We also could only use it once per day even if we had paid the required fee. When I mentioned to property management that these additional rules were not disclosed when I previously inquired, I was pointed to the language that said "some restrictions apply" in the listing description. Since I had inquired about the restrictions when making the booking, this response did not seem adequate to me.
Frankly, I am surprised VRBO allows owners to list Hot Tub in the title and then upsell guests on the use of a hot tub. It certainly tainted my experience.

We had such a blast during our trip to Charleston and this amazing house was the best part! Proximity to the beach cannot be beat and there was so much space for our group of 14! This house was perfect for our bachelorette party. Everyone loved the large hang out spaces and ample sized rooms. When we weren’t at the beach, we were chilling in the backyard enjoying the pool and fire pit. The house is well stocks with all the appliances and cutlery/plates/utensils you could need for a weekend of food and fun. Check in and check out could not have been easier, and the team was extremely responsive answering all our questions! We could not recommend this house enough for all your group meet-ups!

We all loved our stay; it was a perfect family getaway location. The pictures don’t do this home justice. There are multiple common areas and bathrooms too. We were a party of 12 and the home was spacious and roomy with a beautiful backyard and beach access directly across the street. The beach location was gorgeous, clean and a perfect spot for morning walks and sunrises. On hot days the pool was clutch in keeping us cool. I do wish you could use the hot tub without having to pay for heat. Highly recommend this home!

We had three generations under one roof and everyone had a great time. When the beach got too hot, we could use the pool. I love the fact that they kept the live oak over the pool. Great beach access.

This property is truly extraordinary! We have rented many homes in the area, but never before has one exceeded our expectations. It was nicely decorated, incredibly comfortable and well appointed, with spa-like qualities. The bathrooms are all beautiful and clean, with exceptional water pressure in the showers. The beds are very comfortable.. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with top of the line small appliances and cooking essentials. We love to cook and there was every kitchen gadget, pot, pan and knife we could have ever needed. I have never seen such a well equipped kitchen in a rental home. There was plenty of room to gather and dine with a big group as well a smaller gathering areas for reading, watching TV or playing games. The pool was fabulous and so warm despite the cold temperatures. As much as the property was fabulous, the hospitality was even more over the top! The management company was attentive and enjoyable to work with. Overall, we can not recommend this home enough and look forward to returning. The views are stunning and the walk to the beach is very short.

We had a fantastic time at Sea Gem! The house was in perfect condition and we had plenty of room for our group of 18. The beach access is directly across the street which was extremely convenient. All of the kitchen appliances were in perfect working order and the ice machine was a big plus!
Steven was great to work with and his responses were immediate. The key-less entry made the check in/check out process a breeze.
We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a home in Isle of Plams!

I was even prepared to pay to use the hot tub. I wasn't happy about the fact that the price is a premium due to *possibility* of using the hot tub and a cold pool, but at least it'd be there to use. Find out after checking in that they heat the hot tub past 9pm. As if you're supposed to use it in the middle of the hot day or forego going out to dinner. A hot tub in a place like this is for relaxing in *after* getting back from dinner. The pool would have been great to use to cool of from the hot tub. However, without the hot tub it was equally as useless. So we splurged on a place with a pool and hot tub only to effectively find out after we arrived that we weren't allowed to use them. No, a 9pm cut-off is not reasonable at all. It is not something one might expect from "restrictions apply". It is absolutely arbitrary and petty.
Also petty, not making the ceiling-mounted speaker system available for guests. They really removed equipment from the house so guests couldn't - what - change settings on them? Just hook it up to the chromecast and tell people they can stream using that.
An otherwise very nice house that left me feeling manipulated and foolish.

This house was just perfect for a gathering of friends on a golf outing. There were many spaces for visiting. The house was beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a great time. Right across the street from the beach, perfect location! Could not have had a better time. The management team was great to work with and very helpful!

Really enjoyed our stay! The house was great and had all the amenities we needed as a family. It was well maintained and clean. The owner communicated really well , with quick responses. The location is awesome and we had very easy access to the beach.

Our large family was celebrating my daughter's wedding in Isle of Palms and this was our base camp. We had everything we needed for the comfort of all, from small children to adults. The large kitchen, with 2 dishwashers and separate large refrigerator and freezer, was ideal for the buffet meals we set out for the various gatherings. The beds were all very comfortable and ample towels were available for all. The kids absolutely loved the game area on the top floor. With the public beach parking in front of the property, we had plenty of parking for all of our family. The beach access was directly across the street, making a short walk to the beach. The kids used the pool in back but otherwise we were too busy to make full use of the very nice backyard.
This is a perfect house for a large family gathering, with all the amenities you could possibly need.

The house is beautiful and well designed. Kitchen is huge and well provisioned with cooking utensils, etc. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are oh-so-comfortable! Nothing negative to say about the house or stay. One word of caution, however: due to circumstances beyond the control of the owners, and not unique to this property, the elevator is not available for guest use. Definitely not a deal killer but, if you require the elevator for an elderly relative or someone with a disability, just be advised.
