Payment wasn’t clear through booking.com.
Didn’t receive emails from host regarding payment.Luckily I chased up and resolved issues. However if you pay by credit card you will incur 3% charge which in our case was £30. This was not clear on original booking and booking.com refused to refund even though their price didn’t reflect what we had to pay.
Only one restaurant nearby called seawave. Had to go to town for any provisions.
Had problems with tv unable to change volume remote not working properly. Txt owner who promptly replied suggesting hadn’t happened before but got around the problem using tv itself but not easy.
Could have done with a couple of deck chairs and an umbrella for beach because no shade and no beach sunbeds etc
Locals brought all own stuff. Weekends was busy with lots of youngsters blaring out music but luckily we went for walks and into town.

The property is amazing, everything is a new brand, and clean, the view from the bed with the sound of the sea makes my time there a relaxing and lovely time. I highly recommend staying there if you look for a peaceful time in an amazing property. Gabriella ad her husband was kind and lovely helping me and answering all the time I needed them.

I cannot say enough about how GREAT this place was. We had perfect communication with our host and we were so delighted with our 2 night stay we wished we would have booked for a longer stay. 12/10
Not a thing because we were told in advance we had to park away from the unit which was so easy as we had a person literally walk us to the site and help us with our bags. What a treat after having a poor experience in Far.

It is a lovely place, the location is fantastic, the views are breathtaking, it’s really quiet. There is a set of steps just a few yards from the front of the house leading onto the beach.
The bed is super comfy in the house, and the bedroom area itself is huge with lots of space for your belongings, there is a winding staircase up to the bedroom area and there are plenty of power sockets up there, note these are UK 3-pin type sockets.
There is shampoo and conditioner and wash in the bathroom, there is also washing up materials under the sink, and laundry materials should you need them.
They provide tea, coffee and sugar, and there is a large fridge/freezer for use.
They do provide a few hand and beach towels for guests but note there is no laundry service and they do not get changed; I assume if you want clean ones you need to wash them yourselves; we took our own.
There is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, hoover and washing machine available.
The TV was awesome they have all the channels you can think of, movies, sports etc.
The house is located at the very edge of Catalan Bay, and is about a 25 mins walk from the Airport terminal, you can either walk across runway, or use the new tunnel which has a walkway, which is quicker.
You can get a taxi, but they are now quite expensive, the fares start at around £5.60, so an average journey to the holiday home or Market Place is about £13.00 – a good taxi number is +0035020070027
You have to walk right down to the end of the beach and through a couple of restaurants and a bar area to get to the house. Getting around use bus routes 4 & 8 which are regular at top of hill, £2.60 single, £5.00 return. Gib bus app is great.
We would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay, it was nicer having your own space than being in a hotel environment or high-rise apartment. The area is beautiful, and the people of Gibraltar are so kind and friendly, and it is a joy to visit Gibraltar every time.
The whole house is marble and very beautiful, but can be slippy if you have sandy or wet feet, the staircase up to the bedroom is marble and narrow, there are railings on the one side, but if you have mobility issues like ourselves we tended only to venture up there a couple of times a day and we just brought down what we needed for the day to save venturing up and down the staircase.
Also if you are taller than average watch out for the ceiling just above the steps down to the kitchen area when you come out of the bathroom/shower area, everything is painted white so you don’t really see it, and it is concrete, so just be mindful it’s there.
You will need to buy drinking water, as none is provided, we brought a 5-litre bottle for about £1 for duration of our stay. Personally, it would be beneficial if a 1-litre bottle of water could be provided as maybe a welcome gift, so you could have a drink when you arrive. You will also need to buy items like bread and milk and butter, cereals, there are a few supermarkets in the main town and a big Morrisons the further end, but you will need a taxi back to bring back your shopping, we only stayed for 4 days, and we had quite a lot of shopping to carry back, so we ended up stopping at a number of pubs for a little rest in between.

The actual property is beautiful in a lovely location
The bedsheets were stained which we didnt notice until we were getting into bed so we had to sleep on towels which is disgusting and unacceptable. It left us thinking non of the bedding had been changed. There were blood spots on the bathroom floor. The hosts did see to it the next day but we already felt so uncomfortable and it ruined the whole trip.
The property leaflet inside the property said 12 noon check out so we were still getting our stuff together at 1120am where the cleaners came in and it was very uncomfortable and awkward, we felt rushed to leave. On speaking to the hosts regarding this they said the electronic leaflet they sent said 11 check out. If the leaflet in the property says 12 checkout then I’m going to believe its 12 check out.
The property also had a very strong smell of drains.
The hosts were then completely unaccommodating regarding a partial refund and making us feel as if the issues were our fault.

Amazing location and really clean property. Was easy to check in and all amenities were as expected. Both check in and check out was really straightforward and everything in the house was either new or sparkling clean.
Nothing to do with the property itself but work was going on in the neighbouring duplex at odd hours and caused some disturbance. We complained to the host who immediately got it sorted out so was only an issue for a day.
