All the beds are about 36" high; this allows for plenty of storage underneath, but some people may have difficulty getting in bed. There was no "welcome" note on how to operate the televisions; there is no cable service and the TVs may not have connection to an antenna. Nightlights would have been a nice help. Lots of surge protectors throughout the house to charge phones and tablets. There was no rinse aid for the dishwasher. I have never seen ceiling fan blades as dirty as the ones in the upstairs living room. The door trim for the downstairs bathroom is loose.

The location is beautiful and conveniently close to town. I enjoyed watching deer in the morning while drinking coffee on the deck, which was a nice start to the day. The rental has a nice kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms, all located upstairs. It's worth noting this if you have mobility issues. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only issue we encountered was that the televisions and DVD players didn't work. Despite this, we had a pleasant stay overall. The natural surroundings and peaceful atmosphere were enjoyable.

Enjoyed this cabin. It fit our needs with space and location, as we were there for a wedding. The only thing I will say is the common room and kitchen are on the second floor so if anyone has problems with stairs be mindful. The host was very responsive and helped with any questions I had. Overall we loved our stay!

The host was helpful. The place was cozy and had plenty of room. The hot tub was warm. The town of Cloudcroft was friendly. We enjoyed BBQ and Brother in law BBQ and drinks at Western Bar. Very enjoyable experience all around. It even snow a few inches while we were there.

We spent Spring Break with our two daughters and two granddaughters. The house was perfect, cozy and well stocked. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing with a great view of the mule deer watching us from across the street. The beds were all very comfortable. The host, Nathan, was always quick to respond to messages and was very accommodating in letting us check in a little early. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. We loved where this property was and we got to see wildlife just outside our front door. Close to village proper, and lots of nice restaurants. Absolutely loved the wood stove, lots of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The beds were comfortable, and house was cozy.

This property is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Lightbulbs need to be replaced, cookware needs to be replaced. The beds were comfortable.

Got there late at night, with 5 kids,dirty sheets and towels on floor, no cleaning at all had been done. Called manager who immediately said he would call back. Waited 15 mins, exhausted. He calls to say he has given us refund. I said great but where are we supposed to sleep, this is Cloudcroft, late at night. Oh. Like he hadn't even thought of that issue! So he gives us address to another property and gives us incorrect address so we are at a private residence trying to enter, lucky we didn't get shot. Finally found the other place and all well after that, except tonight I find out that we didn't get much of a refund, only partial. So super bad experience all around.

We escaped the Texas heat and this was the perfect place for us. We really enjoyed the hot tub, it was a nice afternoon respite before evening festivities. The property was well appointed - I rarely see a rental with this well stocked kitchen. We will likely be back.

The home is comfortable and close to town. It is off the highway so you don’t hear traffic noises. The two upstairs bedrooms are small, but comfortable. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it looked nice.

This cabin was very well stocked, and in a great location! The parking in the picture looks a lot bigger than it really is. There is no garage parking as advertised and it is a little circle drive! But overall a great place and we really enjoy the hot tub.

property was just as described. great location! well stocked, only that I was told there would be a bbq pit on the property, and there was not, but I made a call and the gentleman apologize, so to make up for it he offered to buy us breakfast. he quickly asked if there was anything else he could do, I said yes "make it snow" lol great place would stay there again.
