About this house rental

This charming cottage is in the heart of Franklin. It's a short walk to Jim Warren Park and/or downtown Franklin. Close to Westhaven, The Factory, etc. The house is fully stocked and has a nice private back yard with cafe lights making the space a fun environment. The vaulted ceilings in the family room with big windows make the space incredibly light, cozy, and inviting. The dining room is open to the well supplied kitchen with multiple coffee makers, toasters, etc. It's fully stocked. The bedrooms are great size all with queen beds. The bonus room boasts a big couch and huge smart TV. The bean bag is a favorite and unzips into a queen size sleeping pad as well. The Speed Queen Washer & Dryer were purchased new in 2022 and are commercial machines. The quit neighborhood is such a tranquil place to be and makes for a relaxing time to enjoy all that this quintessential Franklin home has to offer while being extremely close to everything. In Franklin, you'll find the best of both worlds here: small-town charm and big-city sophistication. There are fascinating Civil War sites and museums, magnificent Antebellum and Victorian homes - plus our thriving downtown shopping area and the Cool Springs Galleria, unique dining and entertainment, and wonderful festivals.

Cleaning should have been better. Coffee maker had old grounds in strainer that were completely dry and hard as well as burnt coffee in pot. Shower drain cover was loose and kept moving and opening up drain. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well. Plenty of hot water.

This is an investment property with some general deferred maintenance. It is fine for a short stay - near Historic Downtown Franklin with comfortable beds. The bathroom showers and tub not shown in listing are original. Property Manager addressed and resolved issues we noted. Also sent dehumidifier when we suggested it for bonus room.

Only a few minute drive from historic Franklin, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The big fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs. The one suggestion I would make is to add a lock or latch to the gate of the fence. It currently can just be pushed open. We were able to prop the trash cans up against the gate and that kept the gate from opening during our stay. Other than that, this place was very ideal, convenient, and comfortable.

The house was as advertised on the listing, as one of our group said, it feels very homely. We only used the one lounge area and didn’t use the deck. Ample drive parking. It’s in a quiet street with a few young families living nearby, the children were often playing in the street as we drove by. Easy access to Franklin, a little too far to walk for us but a very short drive and many free parking options. Franklin itself is a great place to visit and was our favourite place out of our two week trip. We even called back into town for lunch on our way to Nashville airport We were a group of two couples, family, and we really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. This was my first time booking a home and the communication with the management company was 1st class, they even sent me a small app for my phone with all the check in / arrival details.We received an email checking if all was OK after our first night. I would use this home and company again.

Location great for us. If you are a minimalist this will be great for you. Needs a little TLC as far as the decor, including full length mirror, furniture and/or luggage racks in the bedrooms. On a positive note, the beds were very comfortable.

This was a great location for exploring Franklin and Nashville. We even went horseback riding in a nearby town. The house was comfortable and spacious. It’s a great neighborhood with access to local stores and amenities. Perfect place for a family with lots of space to spread out both inside and out.

It was conveniently located in a safe and quiet neighborhood minutes from Broadway. When we go back we will hope for the same property. Five stars is an understatement.

This is close to a 5-star review. The property is as described with a great backyard for dogs. Beds are comfy, a/c and smart TV worked. The neighborhood was safe to walk to dogs (pick up after your pooches!) day and evening. With some minor maintenance and attention to detail in cleaning, this would be 5-star all day long. As it is, it was comfortable and property management was responsive.

The property was in a great location in Franklin and the home was very well maintained. We were happy with the entire check in and check out process. We did not have to do a million steps before checking out, which is great since many of the vacation rentals now require people to essentially do everything before you check out. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were in town visiting friends and the house was perfect for us. We didn’t spend much time at the house , but when we did it was comfortable, clean, quiet, and safe! We loved being so close to downtown Franklin which was full of restaurants, coffee shops, and other things to do. Should we come back to Franklin we would stay here again!

My family enjoyed our stay at this property! We were so close to downtown Franklin but in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Simplistic and comfortable home, which was perfect for us and our young son! We had a minor issue with getting the wifi to work on the TV but got great service and quick response from the owner.

Overall, we had an awesome trip. Tyler was great with communication and it was easy to check-in. The house was comfortable, too. I only recommend a few things: a full length mirror, extra towels, and more than one toilet paper roll per bathroom. Thanks, Tyler! We would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Franklin Cottage. The fenced backyard was perfect and spacious, especially for our dog. The house was clean and cozy, and the beds were comfortable. The location is great - a friendly neighborhood, just a few minutes drive to downtown Franklin and only 30 minutes to Nashville. Tyler is a wonderful host and very accommodating! Highly recommend.

This home is in a wonderful quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and towels were top-notch. Large dining table for dining or game playing & we did both.! The kitchen was fairly well-equipped except it could have used a pizza pan/cutter, we had hoped for more than 2 chairs on back deck and bedside table lamps in all 3 bedrooms would have been nice. Housekeeping should have checked that all light bulbs were working as some had burned out esp all those over the kitchen sink & replaced a moldy shower curtain. The location of this home made up for these several complaints.

We were pleased w our stay. Suggestions to improve future stays include : having extra pillows - we had 6 people and only 5 pillows for all three beds. Having a full length mirror somewhere would be helpful A blow drier would have been nice And putting trash cans in each room. There is one big one in the kitchen and a tiny one in each bathroom is all. Other than that great stay. Thank you!

The property was very well located close to downtown Franklin. The backyard was great for our two dogs and they were able to run around and get some exercise. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. Make sure to bring your own bath soap, ice, and wine bottle opener! The house didn’t come with any of those. Also, just a heads up that the windows do not open so either the heat needs to be on or the air conditioner at all times. This is the second Verbo that we rented in Franklin and we would definitely come back to this one as opposed to the first one.
