Firstly Hugh and Linda are absolutely incredible hosts. They’re friendly, kind, communicative, and they have literally thought of everything possible for the comfort of their guests. From booking to check out this townhome was a dream. The home was spotlessly clean and stocked with pretty much anything you would need like toiletries, kitchen gadgets, coffee, spices, rice, they even have a drawer with Tylenol and ibuprofen packets. I honestly have never stayed in such a thoughtful VRBO. The pool has great hours and is a short 2 minute walk from the townhouse. We took a dip every evening and almost always had the pool to ourselves. We were a bit nervous that the unit didn’t have AC but quickly found that the fans and the airflow between the louvre windows and the sliding glass doors on both levels was plenty. We even ended up needing to turn off fans in the middle of the night as it would cool way down. The lanai on both levels had great shade and views. Oh and if you’re headed to the beach (who isn’t when visiting the island) they provide all the beach toys , chairs, shade umbrellas, coolers. If you’re looking for a super comfortable and quiet stay look no further. We’re already looking at dates for our next visit.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The check in process was very simple and the unit was exactly what we expected. The only negative I have would be the overall cleanliness of both upper and lower lanai's. Upon our arrival both were completely covered with falling debris from the tree. We had to clean it off the table, chairs and decking before we could use.
The unit is stocked with necessities to enjoy a full day of fun in the water or sun. Kitchen and Bathrooms were both stocked with necessities and a few extras. The pool is very comfortable as well. The location was convenient to beaches, shopping, dining and tours. Overall we had an amazing time and would stay again.

This well maintained unit had everything we needed for a three week winter getaway.
The condo is perfectly located. A short uphill walk to shopping and restaurants, and an easy downhill stroll to the bay, dive cruise dock, rowing club, and the Kona Outrigger Hotel.
The ocean sunset view from the deck is perfectly framed by the Monkey Pod tree that provides welcome shade and coolness in the afternoon. Sunbathing on the deck in February is a 1.5 hour window around noon due to this beautiful tree. However, the pool area is a short walk away. It is has shaded tables and chairs, plus lounge chairs if you wish to sun bathe, plus umbrellas for shaded lounging.
The unit is closer to the road than we estimated it to be, but traffic noise at night is light as the road to the bay dead ends. You quickly adjust.
A heads up for those that need to use the sleeper sofa. It is new and very high quality, but operates differently from most. The instructions are in a white Welcome Binder that also contains info on the operation of the ceiling exhaust fan, and other tips and recommendations. Somehow we missed finding it until we had been there a few days. Things are so well labeled that we had figured most things out by then.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful property! It’s exactly as it looks in the listing photos. But what you don’t see is all the extras like all the kitchen and bathroom supplies and plenty of fresh coffee beans and guide books for the Big Island.
For the most part, the lack of AC was not a problem. Warm in the evenings inside, but comfortable sleeping.
Great location to some of the best spots around Kona. 25 minute drive to the best snorkeling on the island. 5 minute walk to picturesque rocky beach for sunsets. 15 minutes to downtown Kona (except during rush hour).

Our family of three stayed two weeks at this townhome and were satisfied. We stay at numerous VRBO's throughout Hawaii and this townhome was more clean and more organized than most. The location is great for grocery shopping, fuel for vehicle and walking distance to the small boat harbor. The townhouse location for day trips to Captain Cook for kayaking and snorkeling was also convenient as there is very little vehicle traffic on the drive back to the townhome. The pool area was super clean, modern and larger than the pictures depict. We swam in the pool every other day and we were always alone! Finally, we were impressed with the overall vibe throughout the complex. It was quiet, clean and felt private. The only negative is the townhome location in relation to the street below. The street is not especially busy, but expect a little vehicle noise at various times. Overall, it was an excellent townhome, and we will not hesitate staying again!

This is a delightful apartment with beautiful views from the lanai towards the ocean. Equipped to the highest possible standard and the owners couldn't be more helpful. The resort is quiet, has lovely tropical grounds and has two beautiful pools. Location is convenient with a shopping centre and restaurants close by. i enjoyed our short stay very much and recommend this apartment very highly.

Easy drive from airport and nice not to worry about needing much our first night. Close to good restaurants and able to take care our shopping needs before heading to our destination on the Hilo side.

We have stayed in this complex before but not this unit. Everything you would want in a place to stay in the big island. One note is I asked the property management prior to our trip about a cooler, chairs and umbrella. They told me #104 had none of these. Wrong, it has all of these items as well as biggie boards and snorkel gear. We would stay here again which is the true testament of a property review!

Easy and quiet place to stay. Everything you need for a pleasant vacation. Clean, quiet and convenient. If you are looking for a party, noise and tons of people pass on this one. The pool and grounds are well maintained.

The unit was as described and equipped with the touches and qualities just as I would select if I were furnishing the condo. Great space to relax in and use as a landing spot between all the activities in the area. Close to everything and nice, quiet pool area for breaks after busy days in the Kona area. Top rated in all aspects and we will stay here again when we're in Kona.

Thanks for a great stay at the condo. It was clean, tidy and had all the amenities we needed. Bed and pillows were comfy. We didn’t spend much time in the condo but was appreciated the space when we were here. Did not use any outside amenities: pool, etc.

Really well stocked with all the necessities. Great location, within walking distance of everything a family could need. Feels private, very relaxed environment. Will return!!

We had a great time. The condo is absolutely perfect. The owners have really put so much thought and care into making the guests comfortable and feel welcome. They had everything clearly marked for use. The coffee was excellent.
2.5 / 5.0
The condo could not be more perfect. I was worried about no air conditioning, but it was very pleasant. All the amenities you need for a chill, relaxed vacation. Kitchen well stocked. Lanai perfect for relaxation. Bed very comfortable. Just a short walk to the pool. Nice walk down to the marina where many day and night time tours leave from. You can also snorkel there. I did not like the grocery store located a few blocks from the condo, we drove to Wal Mart and Safe Way. Great proximity to local beach and snorkeling. Condo very well maintained. Thanks for sharing with us.
