We had a wonderful time exploring Keuka Lake! “Stone's Throw” was the perfect spot to come home to! We liked it so much that we booked for next year! The hosts were attentive and have thought of everything for this wonderful little house!

Just in the wine country area very good local breweries, and close to town

The house had a nice big spacious area for the family to gather with nicely kept rooms. The one bathroom is hard to coordinate with the adults, but we made it work. The house had plenty of kitchen tools, kids books, and toys which our toddler loved. Bugs were the only complaint, but I'm not sure how much anyone could really do for that when you're out in the country and near a lake. You open the door once and a good chunk of bugs get swooped into the house.
Host was communicative and clearly cared for the property and making sure everything was set up properly for each new guest. Would absolutely book again.

It was so clean! All needed items were provided including several small appliances. When we did have a slight issue with the wifi, Rebecca immediately responded. It was just what we wanted and needed. The bottle of wine for our girls trip was a lovely welcome. The only noticeable issue was the noise from the neighbor's dog. It was fine for us, but might bother light sleepers.

As someone who is very detailed oriented, I was blown away by Stone’s Throw! Rebecca has truly thought of EVERYTHING. There was a nicely done brochure with information about the home and things to do in the area. Lights/outlets were labeled so you didn’t have to guess how to turn things on. Wireless chargers were on the side tables (my kids were very excited). The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal, including spices. There was coffee, hot chocolate, snacks in the pantry, etc.
The interior of the home looked like a boutique rental. It was all extremely clean, modern and felt high end. The beds were beyond comfortable (I’m guessing they had mattress toppers). The pillows were fluffy, so I opted to use one we brought from home as my pillow is much flatter, but perfect for those who like fuller pillows. We really appreciated the washer/dryer and I was shocked to see laundry detergent and dryer sheets provided. Again, Rebecca has thought of everything!
The space itself was well thought out and feels much roomier than it appears from the outside. The kitchen/dining/living area is a great space to gather. There was a large deck, complete with a grill and full table. To say I was impressed is an understatement.
The home is located in the quiet village of Keuka Park. It’s the perfect place to enjoy walks along the lake and relaxing nights on the deck.
We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks Rebecca!

This property is within walking distance of Keuka College and Keuka Lake, and less than 10 min from Keuka Lake State Park AND our Gillespie cousins! It is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We had trash/recycling cans to the side of the spacious driveway. The three bedrooms were modern and comfortable, and there was ample space in the house for cooking, eating and lounging. There were cellphone chargers next to each bed, and lovely Finger Lakes decorations in the living area. We had laundry facilities in the basement, which we appreciated! The owners left distilled water for the Keurig (we bought more, and extra coffee). They left us bottled water AND a lovely bottle of Finger Lakes wine (THANK YOU!!), snacks, brochures on local activities, extra bathroom supplies, and specific instructions on how we were to leave their space (except I couldn’t find info on sheets and towels, so we left them ‘in place’). The house has a lovely deck and gas grill….we were so busy with cousin activities, we did not get to enjoy that space.
Next time!! We would definitely book Stone’s Throw from Keuka College again😊. Many thanks to the hosts!

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. We were close to some phenomenal hikes! The house had everything we needed (keurig with k-cups, spices, pots and pans and dishes, etc.). We loved eating our meals on the porch and sitting out there enjoying the birds. The house is located on a quiet street with minimal traffic - it’s perfect! If we come back to the Finger Lakes we WILL be staying here!!

Our son mentioned Stone’s Throw to us and it exceeded our expectations. From pre check-in communication with Rebecca to having to extend our stay a night because our flight was cancelled, Rebecca took care of every detail…including snow removal on driveway and steps during a blustery storm.
Our entire stay was comfortable with queen beds, dishwasher, laundry, and any kitchen need we might have.
Thank you, Rebecca! We hope to be back!
