Very good secluded area in Falmouth, close to Falmouth country club if you like to golf. The kayaks were another great part about this property. Overall great location, would definitely stay here again!

Which was only two nights. Easily could have waited till after our trip. Did not communicate appropriately that this was going to happen. Additionally there are no paddle boards, as advertised.

Very good!

Great location but the home needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades for a comfortable stay

We had the best girls trip this past weekend. The house is old, but in a charming way. It was clean and comfortable, even without AC. We spent most of the time on the porch watching the boats go by. We didn’t want to leave!

Kitchen was fabulous. Four bedrooms and screened in porch are great. Lovely front yard. Thank goodness for outside shower given the bathroom situation. Bathtub very slippery and dangerous for people with mobility issues and nearly impossible to bath a child in.

We arrived around 7-8pm and check in was easy. That’s the only good thing about this property. Within 25 min we had 3 of the 5 kids crying due to how dirty and how many bugs were inside this home. Bugs, not one, not two, we’re talking tons. Little white bugs all over furniture/beds. Big bugs we found all over the floor and even in one of the kids hair. Fruit flies, so bad we wouldn’t even set our tooth brushes out. Ants on the floor. Then we turned the kitchen sink on and it flooded. The pipe isn’t even connected. The one half of the house smelt like urine so bad we closed the door to that part of the house and didn’t go near it. I contacted support within 15 min of arrival regarding the missing paddle boards but was told to find a rental place on yelp nearby to rent them if we wanted to used them. The listing shows and states there are kayaks and paddle boards, plus a sign on the shed stating there are paddle boards.. nope there are not. There were THREE garbage containers outside the home that were over flowing so much the kids couldn’t close thus blowing garbage all over the yard. They wouldn’t even respond to refund us and let us use this money for another place to stay, instead they waited until after midnight to call and offer a refund IF we left the property right then with our 5 sleeping children. Where do we go after midnight when we just unpacked/arrived to a vacation spot we’ve never been to!? The worst experience we’ve had by far and we travel alot.

Couldn't ask for a better location, right on the water! Nice dock for hanging out and launching kayaks. Great living room and kitchen with a bonus screen-in room for more room. I would definitely rent again!!

On the whole, we enjoyed our stay. Had informed Vacasa that we wouldn’t arrive in Falmouth until midnight 4/25 (as we picked up relatives at Logan Airport), but it hadn’t been forwarded: the sloping entry to the cottage was pitch-dark! In the morning we found garbage cans tipped over, & trash strewn all around the yard —the same thing happening the second night (both times we had to clean up a mess). We requested an hour’s leeway for departing 4/27, which was to have been relayed to local owner; yet the Cleaning Crew showed up at 10 o’clock (not 11, as requested/approved).

The house was great aside from a few issues. Owner was quick to respond.

Although the house is a little dated, it was comfortable and had everything in stock that we needed for a long weekend! The crown jewel of this property is the screened porch that overlooks the most beautiful view of the sloping land that ends with the pier and water. We spent our mornings on this porch enjoying watching the day come to life with the lifting of the fog and the waking of people fishing and birds calling. It was delightful!

This home was very homey, welcoming and relaxing. Lots to do in the home. The beds were comfortable, and the view was beautiful off the back deck.

The house was amazing, the breeze from being right on the water was so nice. There was plenty of room for everyone and we loved the screened in porch

The view from the porch was beautiful. You can't tell how nice it is from the pictures in the listing. It's a great place for family and friends to relax and talk and see the trees and inlet. Also, wonderful to have the paddleboards and kayaks.

The property was a great value for a four bedroom home right on the water. The house is charming and has a thoughtful selection of games and puzzles that our kids loved-we used the kayaks and paddle boards often (they do have some life vests onsite). The playground and screened in porch made it fantastic for our family which has little and big kids. Communication with Vacasa, which manages the property, was so-so…phone and email is slow but if you text you will get a response promptly. Unlike a personal property manager, though, if you reach out with questions about the listing they seem to just check the listing for answers….they don’t have the same kind of information a person would who knows the actual property. But overall we loved this and would definitely stay again…talking about it for next year, in fact.

We had a great long weekend with family. Perfect place nestled in the woods across from a narrow preserve. Probate and quiet. Off the beaten path. Nice restaurants and stores within driving distance.

It’s a little hard to find! Especially if you arrive after dark….look for Nickols rd and turn in, house on right. Lock box is behind tree to left of front door.
The house is kept very clean and well stocked with kitchen (I brought my Keurig) linens, towels etc. wonderful screen in porch and view of bay.
There were 3 of us and each had own room and one to spare. Bathrooms are tiny, only one has a shower. It was a rainy stay for us but we were warm and cozy in our vacation home away. We would definitely stay again.

Very clean home with comfortable bedding and a well-equipped kitchen. Amazing to have access to 3 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddleboards, and so many yard games! The fully screened spacious porch facing the Waquoit Bay made for perfect family meals and relaxation. The outdoors shower was a great bonus.
This home's biggest shortcoming was its lack of air conditioning.

Came for a wedding on the Cape and able to stay with friends comfortably. Kitchen appliances worked well (including a dishwasher) and made everything easy. The view off the enclosed porch and water access with kayaks and SUP boards were a lovely bonus.

We loved spending time reading and enjoying family meals out on the screened in patio. Our kiddos really enjoyed the play set and variety of games. We will definitely come back

We had a lovely stay at Cove Cottage. The house is down a quiet street and right on the water. The owners have kindly made available kayaks and paddle boards that make water access enjoyable and simple. The bird life is quite fantastic, particularly the ospreys nesting in various places and fishing within a few hundred feet. Bring a pair of binoculars to get the full experience. We basically lived on the huge porch facing the estuary.

The cottage is lovely. There is one indoor shower and one outdoor.
It pretty much is what it looks like in the pictures. There is a screened back porch which looks out on a little dock. It's nice to breakfast there and enjoy the view.
The cottage is well-equipped. I can't think of anything we wanted for. Shaw's Market is about 11 minutes away. The place was clean when we arrived.
If you go paddle-boarding, be aware that it can be extremely difficult to travel against the wind/current. You could get stuck downwind.
No air conditioning, but plenty of fans and a good breeze.
It seems like the water may be shut off to the dishwasher. We tried a couple of times to run it on rinse cycle to clean out the detergent, and it ran, but the inside wasn't rinsed.
There are two lock boxes at the front door, which was initially confusing when trying to obtain the key upon arriving.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We loved everything about this place! Views the house the beds!!!

What a fantastic house! The location, yard, amenities, spectacular views, and dock & kayaks were an absolute dream. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning, which made the hot & humid nights pretty tough. The fans provided helped a great deal. Would absolutely rent again during the cooler months, especially spring or early fall!! Thank you for a great escape!
