Great location, but tired rooms

Great view from the 4th floor room and it had plenty of storage space and a small balcony. Friendly and pleasant breakfast staff.

The rooms are very tired, but clean. Breakfast was kinda ok, but more bread and hot food options would have been nice

Great location, met our every need.

Spacious, excellent location, easy parking. Great lake views. Sufficient charging points.

Parking for a disabled motorcycle rider was quite a distance, and a long slope from the car park made it difficult.

Disappointing

We liked the fish pedicure experience. Glad they could fit us in at short notice as only 1 night stay.

Our room smelled of cigarette smoke all night. Even though we opened the door to air it still smelt

Nice hotel with pleasant staff and good food.

Everything except the bedsheet fit.

Bedsheets did not fit bed. Unable to tuck under mattress. Unable to provide a little milk for my tea on Thursday afternoon!

Lovely spa hotel for a weekend

Lovely staff. Hotel very clean and cosy. Nice room overlooking the lake. Brilliant location just by the lake. It was also nice to have tea and coffee in the room (not so common in France)

Didn't get chance to use sauna or hammam on first day as they are both quite small and they were full. It would also be good to put a timer on the jacuzzi so that more people can use it (people tended to just sit in it chatting for a long time without realising other people were waiting for someone to get out)

The pool. Jacuzzi. Steam room and sauna were lovely clean and quiet.. Bagnole de l'Orne is a wonderful place

They got our restaurant booking wrong. A waiter got our order wrong 3 times. The room was a bit on the cold side. We turned the thermostat as high as it would go 22. But it didn't seem to work

Extremely attractive hotel over looking the lake of a high standard throughout.

We stayed here for a few days over Christmas. Breakfast included in our deal was excellent with plenty of choice for us. Our Christmas meal was a la carte dining and we were surprised how reasonable it was. We had a large balcony overlooking the beautiful lake which was a bonus. Beautiful walks in Bagnoles. We did not tKe advantage of the pool or spa treatments but will on a future date. Highly recommended!

No meals on Boxing day at our Hotel but we did eat at the casino round the corner. The meal we had at the casino was not to the same standard as our hotel Du Beryl. This year we will book any meals out side the hotel well in advance,. Bagnoles has many excellent restaurants close to our hotel.

Great location but could do better

Location - beautiful view overlooking the lake. It's also right in the centre of town.

Bedrooms need upgrading regarding carpets and curtains. Dinner menu unexciting and lacking in quality. No bar facilities.

Soulless breakfast room with awful music! Under 'facilities' on booking.com it says there is no parking available. This is incorrect, there is a large car park at the rear of the hotel.

Large rooms with good access

Central location with large parking behind the hotel. Good access with all facilities. Breakfast was extensive with a large selection of fresh fruits. We had a room with balcony and view to the lake which was nice.

The furniture in the lobby was damaged, which did give it a bit of a dated feeling. There was a nice terrace for breakfast, but was swarmed with wasps.

Superb

The staff at reception were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We were particularly impressed with the breakfast service the young lady in sole charge presided over a delightful buffet which she constantly renewed so that whatever time we arrived for our breakfast everything was fresh and available. Well done!

It was ok - but there were so many little ways it could've been so better

The rooms were comfortable, and plenty large enough. The terrace was lovely (I'm glad we paid extra for that) and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The pool was nice, and never too crowded, and when we were able to eat in the restaurant the evening meal was delicious

It never fails to amaze me that hotels are unable to cater for all their guests, was very disappointed to have my request for a table for evening meal rejected on the grounds that the restaurant was fully booked. (Especially since that night it was raining and thundering heavily). there was little opportunity outside of the opening hours of the restaurant to get drinks to our room, and the only cups in the room were cardboard which survived (on average) only two servings before they started to leak - big money opportunity lost not having a bar open all day. The jacuzzi in the Spa had the most interesting and dangerous wiring, had to ask our kids to stop using it

Great location with views of the lake with parking

The hotel is in a great position and on this occasion was chosen due to the lift as I was travelling with my elderly mother. The room was good and the beds comfortable. Managed to get the last parking space when we arrived and this was another reason that we chose this hotel.

Sadly the breakfast on the first morning was not as expected. The hotel was presumably busy and therefore a “ballroom” or something similar had been set up with a snaking queue to get food. The room was clinical and the queue was extremely difficult as I had to get food for my mother first and then re queue to collect my own. There was absolutely no atmosphere and interestingly this was the only place in the whole of my trip to France where staff did not enforce face masks when some were not wearing them. However breakfast on the other 2 mornings was much better - tables in the window of the restaurant with a lake view and no snaking queue so we were both able to slowly walk the buffet to help ourselves. I also booked a room with a balcony - these would be delightful in the summer however there was no furniture on the balcony and therefore was a waste of money as it was unusable.

We went for a birthday treat and it was good in parts.

We used the pool which is very good and ate in the restaurant which was excellent and good value. The staff are very helpful. There was coffee and tea and sugar in the room but no milk. We hired the robes for the swimming pool only 4 euros each and they were very cosy.

We found the hotel room was quite warm and the large double bed although comfortable had a duvet cover that was heavy and too hot to sleep well under it and only one pillow per person. My husband had awful ndigestion, not the fault of the restaurant, but because he forgot his indigestion tablets it kept us awake during the night. There are no pool towels available to use the pool only those in your room which when wet from swimming are no use to dry yourselves after a shower.

Nice stay in a hotel with a sharming view :-)

Clean room with large enough and clean bath room. Also enough room to put stuff away (enough cupboards) in the room. Comfortable beds ! Nice breakfast, very friendly welcome at breakfast. Nice food in the restaurant, very friendly waiter and waitress as well. Very nice and cosy little village with many nice restaurants and cafés.

The room itself might have been a bit larger, though we had paid extra for a 'Standing Double/Twin Room Lake View Terrace'. There was very little space between the bed end and the 'desk'. The receptionists were not very friendly... We stayed there for 5 days and during those 5 days there was only ham and cheese as savory toppings (next to eggs and bacon). We would have liked a bit of salami, chicken or turkey, paté, ... there was a lot of jam, but we're no sweet tooths :-)
