Family resort ocean view condo. Sleeps 5, best for no more than 4 adults. Boardwalk ramp to beach, indoor pool and outdoor pool with giant slide, hot tubs, tennis and basketball courts. 1/4 mile from Fort Macon State Park. Close to great restaurants and local attractions. Gated community. Linens, beach towels, 2 boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, all provided! Beautifully renovated. Elevator and luggage carts available. Kitchen stocked with all essentials including Keurig coffee maker and K-cups for guests. Outdoor gas grills and firepit.

Condo is clean and updated, with a fairly easy walk to the beach. My 6 year old loved the water slide. You will not run out of things to do at this place. The host was also very informative and attentive to any questions I had. Hope to stay here again on my next trip to AB.

Everything was absolutely amazing! The host communicated excellent and had extras in the condo such as dental floss, cotton swabs, after sun lotion, shampoo and conditioner and body wash. We will definitely stay here again!

A Place at The Beach III never disappoints. This was our first time in this particular condo. It's furnished well and laid out perfect for our family of three. The beds were comfy. There are beach chairs, sand buckets, and two wave boards available that we found handy. We aren't in the room much so the view to the ocean also overlooking the parking lot isn't a big deal. It could be a factor for others though, you won't be able to watch your older kiddos from the room in the pool if that is your plan. Thanks for a good week Steve and opening your place to us. :)

Great place to stay for a family vacation! You really could just stay in the gated community and the entire family is entertained. The condo was clean, well organized and decorated. Steve had excellent communication with us! We will be back!

We had an excellent stay at this property. The unit was just as described and just the right space for my 20 something daughter and me. The Place at the Beach community is very nice. The pool is gorgeous, the beach is right there and this time of year it was not busy. The weather was perfect. Steve was very easy to communicate with and available for questions. Definitely would like to return!

The condo was exactly as pictured. There were so many extra little touches such as hot cocoa with snowflake marshmallows, snacks, a card welcoming us, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plackers, q-tips, cotton balls, hair dryer and much more. However, what impressed me even more was the attentiveness and hospitality of the owner. Upon arrival, at a late hour, I could not find the gate code. I called Steve (waking him up). He was extremely nice and helpful. He provided the information and even offered to stay on the phone with me until we got into the condo. He truley cares about those staying, and goes above and beyond to make sure their stay is wonderful! I highly recommend this place and these particular owners!

We had a great stay! The place is comfy and exceeded expectations. We made our trip over Thanksgiving and despite it being cold out, loved our time on the beach and hanging out in the apartment. The walk from the apartment to the beach is very feasible and accessible for taking a beach wagon. We used the pool and we were surprised how warm is was despite the cold weather. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness was superior. Decor was seaside mint which made it feel clean/fresh. Nice extras with snacks, drinks, spices, coffee, paper products and full size toiletries(that matched decor).Great onsite amenities but didn’t use them.Communication with host was just right. We loved how Steve called to make sure we were certain about directions and how to enter the property; he was very personable. Also, since we had great weather, we were able to relax and enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and ocean surf. Since I am an artist, I really enjoyed the photo opportunities there as well as the proximity to Cape Lookout where we explored the island and even saw the wild horses on the island returning back to Beaufort by ferry. So much history and beauty in such a beautiful location. The condo was just the right size for us and we were appreciative of the staples for cooking thoughtfully left for our convenience. Thank you for a restful, wonderful vacation!!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo property packed with so much to do from the pool, tennis courts and gorgeous ocean. The owners thought of all the special touches and made sure all our necessities were covered. Eat breakfast and lunch at the condo or on the beach and then head out to the amazing restaurants nearby. Ft. Macon is also a bonus for history buffs. Thanks so much!
