Lovely cosy caravan with everything you could want, apart from Wi-Fi which is extra £10

Great location between Whitstable and Herne Bay. Lovely Pub just outside the Campsite

As the Caravan is on a grassy patch it can get muddy If it rains, but wasn’t an issue for us as we had spare pair of boots.

Perfect combination of comfort and location for out door people enjoying walks, relaxing, restaurants with families.

Morden, Clean, comfortable, with a large shower area.

The property location was difficult to find, no fault of the owner, we feel this is down to the park authorities, rows and caravan numbers from the road around the park showing parking bays for which row would be very helpful for first time visitors.

Would stay there again as it was nice.

Property was lovely and homely. Everything you needed for your stay. Modern furnishings. Good size rooms. Quiet location. No hassle. Would stay there again. Great location for visiting our family. We enjoyed it. We didn’t use any of the park facilities so don’t know what they are like. Close to shops.

Just needed that extra bit of cleaning. Found a dog biscuit under the Coffee table, the drainer on the kitchen sink just needed cleaning, the bathroom sink tap needed extra cleaning as I wiped the timescale off and the shower needed bleaching in the corners and at the bottom of the tiles.

Caravan was very well equipped with everything you needed for a weekend trip. There was even a draw with extra toothpaste, plasterers, chargers, etc Good communication from owner, good instruction pack in caravan. Great location to explore Kent. Nice treat from owner on arrival, highly recommended and we will be back.

The owner of the caravan Helen was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was amazing and within walking distance to both Hearne Bay and Whitstable.

We had a great time in Whitstable at the Cockleshell Caravan.

The property was nicely furnished and very clean. The host was helpful with information about the local buses, which helped our stay a great deal. The location was quiet and had a shop on site for necessary items.

We had some trouble finding the caravan at the beginning, so were glad that we had taken a taxi from the railway station

A perfect coastal getaway! 💜

This is our second stay at The Cockle Shell, and both have been amazing. Helen offers a relaxed, beautiful coastal location, the accommodation is clean, fully equipped and homely, and was incredibly flexible when our arrival time had to change last minute. We were so glad to be able to rebook when we wanted to return, and it won’t be our last, thanks Helen xx

Not a negative but definitely take suitable footwear for the weather, as the park is mainly grass.
