About this house rental

Tucked away amongst the hills at the foot of the Sperrin Mountains, The Hideaway is settled in the quiet idyll of rural bliss. Oozing rustic rural style with a contemporary edge, our self-catering property offers pure luxury and is the ultimate in all-round relaxation.

Whether you are a little chilled from an early morning stroll or just fancy indulging yourself, you will be dying to spark up our hot tub during your stay. Fully enclosed with large sliding glass panels, lowered into the deck and heated to a 'just perfect' 37 degrees, our luxury tub affords you the ultimate way to enjoy the fresh air and lush views across the green fields in all seasons.

For the ultimate wake up, kick start your morning with a dip in the tub, followed by a spot of yoga on the outside deck.

After lunch grab a fluffy towel and waffle robe for sauntering between the tub, sauna and our rustic outdoor lounge area 'The Hide'. Be sure to team the lounge with a chilled bottle of rosé and platter of scones, and you'll be set for the afternoon.

Later, after an invigorating walk in the fresh country air, return for the evenings entertainment; think smoky barbecue feasts, quirky outdoor board games, a backdrop of music, laughter and singalongs around our blazing fire bowl.

As the heat begins to fade, gather up and get cosy with a Shortcross Gin and blankets in our Hide; an area which boasts rough-luxe reclaimed seating, a mini-bar, netflix on demand, heated lamps and Sonos entertainment with a library of your favourite tunes.

Layout

An easy, rustic charm weaves through our country hideaway, bringing hygge by the bucketload with sink-into seating, warming organic tones, industrial accents and a cosy built in fire. Throughout the space, a combination of warm greys and dramatic blues blend with the countryside greens through the windows, giving guests the feeling of roaming through the fields from the moment they stretch out from beneath the soft bedsheets.

On stormy nights, batten down the hatches to enjoy board game marathons and the heavenly scent of homemade cocoa bubbling away on the hob. There's popcorn on stand-by for film nights and a jar of marshmallows for hot chocolates. At night, the comfy beds will be calling you to dive into their cosy linens and soft faux furs.

Bedroom 1 'By the Plot'

The highlight of our guest room 'By the Plot' is the south facing view over our thriving vegetable garden and pond. A sumptuous seat in the corner awaits for you to grab a book and enjoy a sunny morning, or an evening cocktail alone! By the Plot is the largest of our three bedrooms where a nature-infused restful slumber is assured in the king-size bed.

Bedroom 2 'The Sperrin'
Wrapped up in soft neutral tones and organic materials, The Sperrin is a calming double room with a snug and laid back feel. Handmade wooden-herringbone furniture provides plenty of space for clothes, while a porthole mirror, statement industrial style lighting and framed prints reflecting the natural beauty of the nearby Sperrins tie the room together. This cosy room makes an ideal sanctuary where one can unwind after a long day in the spa.
