Went to visit my daughter and had a nice little getaway here.

Garbage can by front door, running over with garbage. Cob webs inside the house. Couches covered in dog hair. Fridge dirty inside, kitchen counters filthy with spillage. Toilets had brown water in them, ants in shower. No sheets on second bedroom bed. The mattress in the Master was covered with yellow stains. Disgusting. Room air conditioner fell out of window. Screens torn on windows and slider. Filthy, disgusting house. We didnt even unpack. We left and came home. We are disputing the charges. You should be ashamed to rent this place at all. Goodbye VRBO

House is nice, needs to be cleaned really well as cob webs throughout, and the yard has gone to weeds. But we had a nice stay. The problem was with Evolve that we ended up with after going through VRBO. Evolve is worthless, asked for almost 2 months prior to trip and after booking about fishing at the cabin and got ZERO response. There invoice for the cost actually says contact this person at this email for any questions and we never got a response. If I end up with Evolve again I am canceling the reservation

The cabin is prefabricated home. Nothing wrong with this, but it does mean that upkeep is important. The fridge was busted when we got there. The guest contact offered us nothing after we let them know it was down. It looked like they had used fire to control weeds around the property and there were a decent amount of broken fixtures throughout such as the sliding door handle, a window screen and floor damage. The price wasn't bad, but I hoped for a better experience.

The property was clean, private, well stocked and good communication. The biggest issue was the heater. Whenever it clicked on, it made a loud noise like a door slamming and ran quite loudly. It made for a rough nights sleep. Also, there was no propane for the bbq.

This place is as it states, two bedrooms, both queen beds and very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you may need. Back deck is an amazing place to sit and catch up with family/friends while you overlook the small river that runs through it. Too shallow to swim, but you can put your feet in, however, it is rocky not sand. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this cabin with friends to stay close to skiing at Alpental/Summit. It was comfortable and perfect for our trip. Our dog really enjoyed running around in the snow and even played fetch in the river. Overall this was a beautiful home and was a very pleasant experience.
A few small complaints: The driveway was very hard to find. That is because the neighbor has a large sign for their property on the entrance road. We had to stop for a while to figure out where the driveway was. I would suggest putting up a sign for this property off the main road. The second bedroom has no windows and is very close to the heater, thus it was blazing hot. But the windows in the master bedroom were leaky and hence this room was still cold even with the central heating on. Last, the WiFi router and password we were given was incorrect and needs to be updated on the check-in instructions and the pamphlet in the home.
