The breakfast was amazing! There was a lot of options for breakfast. The staff was really welcoming, especially Gina and Soraia made sure we had a comfortable stay. The whole place looked like a piece of heaven.
The sauna and the hot tub should be included in the base fee.

Great location, beautiful area. Walking paths and landscapes. Good breakfast. Feeding the animals was an adventure for a 5years old daughter.
Some animals have too small cages. Poor wifi.

I wasn't expecting the proximity to the animals on the farm, and was very pleased with it! The staff was super helpful and very nice, and were always ready to meet our needs. They had a great variety of animals that we could fead. The food on the farm was very good, especially the jams!!
I don't think that there was something that I didn't like about my stay, but maybe be aware of the roads to the Quinta das Quintãs!

amazing property on the Douro River with cool bungalows and a large villa with dining areas.
bed was slightly uncomfortable

Amazing and strong view of Douro River. Peaceful place. Fantastic 2 floor villa. Much better, with prettier instalations, more confortable and much more beautiful than the photographs we saw. The team was very kind. Nice breakfast served at the Villa. The experience exceed all the expectations we could have. The best shower we tried. And the cooler balance toy of our lifes. Wishing back soon.
It was not internet at the villa. Only in the main building.

We had open buffet with fresh, handmade food with many options.
There could be more orange juice :) They prepare the food for the amount of guests they have, so there was a limited amount of some food.

A very friendly welcome, a fantastic room and excellent breakfast. I wish I'd been there longer to explore more around the quinta.

The view was amazing and the space was built to take advantage of the view. We did purchase dinner one evening and it was very nice. Also, breakfasts were very good.
It wasn't as close to restaurants as we thought it would be, so, had we known, we would have packed in some extra food

Lovely location and the surprise was the amount of charming animals they have - parrots, donkeys, a horse, deer, wild pigs and many more.
All was good.

the view over the Duoro river
The quality of our accommodation the two bedroom which we deemed unsatisfactory and unsafe
One glass door was smashed and another door lock was broken so we couldn’t lock the property
We complained to the owner the day we arrived but she told us that there was nothing she could do to fix the problems.
We were so unhappy with the accommodation that we decided to leave after only 2 nights although we had paid for 5 nights.
Also the location was very noisy as there were small hydroplanes flying over our accommodation all day long and landed on the river in front of us.
In addition there is no Wi-Fi in any of the rented rooms, only where the staff is in the main building.
We were very disappointed.

Location with river view.
History and good preservation of the Quinta stuff, with new buildings and services.
Positive attitude from the Staff.
Quality of the breakfast.
Beds needs better mattress.
Extra meals are too expensive.
They should be a bit more focus at guess needs and not so self centred.

the views from our river-facing rooms, excellent spa and outdoor pool, superb breakfast, helpful staff
difficult to access on first attempt, quite far from local restaurants (though limited evening food was available)

Rooms in the main house are a mix - ones on the ground floor are a little gloomy because of the veranda being covered with wisteria and you can't see the river. Upstairs better and much lighter. Modern cabins within the grounds are lovely - big and with amazing views - web photos do not do them justice.
Surroundings are lovely - loads of walks and great fun getting to know the animals (pigs, donkeys, birds etc)
Pool is super, in a great garden & really clean.
Excellent breakfast with lots of their own produce.
Need cash to pay for everything apart from pre-booked accommodation.
No WiFi in the dining room, by the pool or cabins, only the main house & that a bit erratic. Whilst it's nice to be "off-grid" sometimes it is frustrating when it isn't your choice.

Beautiful views, great beds, good breakfast, nice pool but a lot is missing for this price and our expectations. The estate is beautiful and at a great location. Millions have been put in the development of this place. We ate dinner on the first night and it was good authentic portuguese cuisine. Nothing fancy but ok for the 25 euro price. We really enjoyed the swimming pool.
Almost everything is broken. The estate is in dire need of some serious renovation. Floor tiles, shower handles, glass panes, stairs, chairs - everything is falling apart. Some things are dangerous, like moving tiles on the shower floor. The kitchenette on our chalet was dirty and hadn't ever been cleaned properly. The stove fan worked but it blew everything in the cupboard, not outside. This is a fire hazard. The estate is understaffed, so it was very hard to get in contact with them. I texted and called them during my stay, but no one aswered. Some of the animals' cages at the estate are too small and not equipped well enough for the animals to exhibit their natural behaviour.
