About this house rental

Rest and Relax in luxury at this gorgeous Tybee Island, Georgia, property, which features a combined 7 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms. Enjoy spectacular sunrises every morning thanks to the partial ocean view from your spacious, private deck. Spend some time basking in the sun by the pool, or unwind in one of the fully updated and tastefully appointed living areas.

RnR Tybee Island House consists of 3 separate apartments. Unit A is a studio-style 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fully updated apartment. A full kitchen, a small table for two, a living area with Smart TV, a King bed, and a full-size washer and dryer.

Unit B is a three-bedroom 2.5 bathroom apartment with all-new fixtures and furnishings. Guests will love the precise attention to detail throughout the fun and functional spaces. The spacious living area is on the second floor, and it includes a large flat-screen TV, a sleeper sofa, and an open-concept chef's kitchen with all new stainless appliances and a half bathroom. This level includes Bedroom 1, with a King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The remaining two bedrooms are on the ground floor. Bedroom 2 has a King size bed, and Bedroom 3 has a Queen size bed and a Smart TV.

Unit C is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom apartment with three ground-floor bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A King with an attached full bathroom, a King bedroom, and a Queen bedroom share a full bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen, living room, and half bathroom are upstairs.

From the upstairs living level in Apartment B, walk outside onto the attached back deck. This private deck includes a dining table for 6, a gas grill, and a sundeck with partial ocean views. The ground-level plunge pool is great for cooling off after a day at the beach. Bring the whole family - including Fido! RnR Tybee House is pet friendly. There is off-street parking for up to 5 vehicles on the property. This home is truly one of a kind and will be an incredible place to enjoy all of what makes Tybee Island a special destination to enjoy year after year.

Nicely renovated beach property. The pool was a hit with everyone, the separate living spaces were both nice at times and a bit of a challenge to have everyone in the same area to eat or hang out. We managed that just fine, really was our only struggle. Loved how close it is to Savannah for daytime and nighttime getaways. Location on the island itself is a bit odd as it’s off the main stretch of road so there is a decent amount of traffic at all times of day, but the house is quiet and you can’t hear any of it. Tl;dr: beautiful space, steps to the beach, could just use a little more seating/dining capacity for families using all 3 units at the same time.

The check-in was a nightmare. We were supposed to get a text message with our keycodes for the locks at 4pm and the company was adamant to not call until you receive your text. I finally called the "after hours" line after waiting until past 6 and we didn't get our codes until around 8:30. I never received any kind of follow-up to apologize or check on us. We did have an issue w/ a wasp nest later in the stay and they were very responsive on that Apart from that, the stay was great. The area is nice, the apartments were perfectly fine for what we needed. We had 2 families staying with 7 kids total ranging from 8 to 19 years old. It is a bit disjointed renting the whole place and trying to go back and forth between units but it was also nice to have privacy at times. Overall, the units were very clean upon arrival. There were some other minor issues, but to be expected staying in a rental property during busy season. The pool is small, but it worked well to cool off and the kids enjoyed it. This unit is close to the beach, but you really can't see the beach very well because some taller units are in the way. The pictures are a bit deceptive in that sense. All in all, I would recommend this unit for multi-family vacationers that want to have a separate area to retreat to at night. And I would stay w/ the rental company again but I would definitely be more proactive about making sure check-in goes smoothly.

This complex is clean, beautifully decorated, well air-conditioned, on a calm section of the beach. There are 3 apartments and we rented all 3 for vacation with extended family. Location is nearer the lighthouse, further from the Pier. Some baths have tubs, some with walk in showers. Kitchens well-stocked with pots/pans/baking sheets/cutting boards. All 3 apartments have matching dishes, so it was easy to return borrowed dishes after use with shared family meals. Deck associated with B unit is shaded in the morning and in the evening. Beach breeze made it pleasant to have meals outdoors during those times. Pool is not overly large. Just enough to cool off from the heat of the day. I would return and rent the B unit with use of pool and deck for my husband and me since I enjoyed it so much. A unit's only access is front door that opens to Hwy 80. A unit is adequate for one couple with one king bed, kitchen and bath. B unit has 2 bedrooms downstairs with shared bathroom and one bedroom upstairs with full bath. Living room and kitchen upstairs with access to deck and sundeck from unit B. Pool is downstairs from the deck. Ocean view from sun deck, but the ocean breeze is abundant. B unit also has front door open to US 80. Unit C has largest living area and kitchen with 3 bedrooms, and only access is front door at Hwy 80. Easy walk to Sugar Shack, Sundae Cafe. Park golf cart across street since golf cart cannot cross Hwy 80, but this was not a problem.

This was perfect for multiple families. Allowed everyone to have privacy and enjoy time together. Very close to the beach, perfect location.

Overall was nice spot. Definitely would recommend it for big groups! The two propane tanks were empty so we had to buy one since we had already purchased all the food and seafood.

Upon our arrival on Thursday afternoon, our excitement turned to disappointment as we were greeted with a pool area littered with feces and covered in algae. The main reason we chose this rental was for the pool. Despite being assured of a prompt cleaning on Friday morning, no one showed up by 2pm. After reaching out, we were informed that the pool was broken, with a part ordered for Saturday morning. Promised updates never arrived, leaving us unable to enjoy the pool during our vacation. Moving on to the next issue. As we entered the apartment, the state of cleanliness was appalling. The floors were covered in crumbs and dirt, making our socks and feet grimy. All the dishes needed to be washed again due to residue from previous users. The bed sheets were also in a sorry state, with human and dog hair, press-on nails, and makeup stains. We ended up spending the entire Thursday night washing the sheets. Additionally, Apartment C requires a thorough bug spray as we found rodent and roach droppings under the sink and on the kitchen floors. If there was an option to give zero stars, I would have chosen that without hesitation.
