About this house rental
Harbour House is a spacious house boasting 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and off street private parking situated opposite the harbour, beach and the road to the town.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
The town is only a few doors away at the end of the road and the beach and historic working harbour is opposite. To keep the children entertained and adults alike, visit Whitstable Castle with a tea room, gardens and a playpark. There are plenty of restaurants to dine at and boutiques to shop in. Visit the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral or Herne Bay's Pier, both just a 20 minute bus journey.
You have access to all areas in the property apart from the wall cupboards on the 1st floor landing and the lock ups in the garden.
The modern kitchen is the perfect space to serve up some of the local delicacies in the spacious dining room off the entrance hallway seating 8-10 guests. After a hearty meal relax in front of the log fire in the separate living room. Conveniently there is a ground floor bathroom with a newly fitted shower suite; great to rinse off after a day at the beach.
On the 1st floor there are 2 spacious bedrooms; 1 double & 1 king size and a further single bedroom plus another bathroom with shower over the bath, making it a great space for families. Please note that there are a few steps down from the first floor bedrooms to access the single bedroom and bathroom.
Further up on the 2nd floor with views over the rooftops and harbour, you will find a twin bedroom and a fifth bedroom consisting of a double bed.
There is off street parking for 2 cars and there is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Gorrell Tank Car Park. Whitstable Train Station, on Railway Avenue, is the cheapest car park if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Street parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.
You can also visit the 'Just Park' website to find out where to park in Whitstable.
