About this villa rental
A smart villa with a private pool just a short walk from one of Tuscany’s honeypot historic towns – what more could you want from a trip to Tuscany? Cielo di Radda provides just such luxurious and well-located lodgings.
Climb the stone steps to discover your home from home: an attractive stone villa with an emerald green pool to gather beneath the shade of a thatched gazebo.
Step through the main entrance into the upper-ground floor to find a free-flowing living space. The arch to your left reveals a cosy sitting area with a large sofa and flatscreen satellite TV. The arch to your right leads to a sleek kitchen with all mod cons. And straight ahead, a dining table has been laid next to a large window that frames the beautiful landscape. The terracotta floors, tiled and beamed ceilings, brick-edged arches, white walls and mix of polished antiques and stylish modern pieces, are all easy on the eye. And an abundance of windows give an airy feel and offer scenic views.
Descend the stairs and find peaceful bedrooms, with comfy double beds. Two bedrooms have French doors leading to the lower garden, where you’ll also find a handy laundry. Return to the pool and terrace where the sun will be dawdling its way across this relaxing scene as the day progresses, smiling down on Chianti’s vineyard-laced hills. Sitting in the dining area or on the terrace you can enjoy the sunrise over the Eastern hills, admire Radda above the olive yard as well as the glorious sunsets behind the swimming pool. Sink into the cool waters and contemplate what lies beyond.
Out there in the soft folds of the valley are premium wineries with delicious vintages to sample, pretty medieval towns such as Radda with a fine selection of restaurants and shops, which is only a lovely stroll away, and even the world-beating sights of Florence and Siena. They all must be seen while you’re here, but for now just relax.
The villa is conveniently set next to a small private cul-de sac road, that is only used by another villa and a winery and that is easily accessible for all kinds of cars.
