About this house rental
Welcome to 'Big Red' in Denver's trendy Uptown neighborhood! This beautiful 1937 Denver Square, full of charm and history with exposed brick walls throughout, was just fully remodeled from top-to-bottom in 2022 with a new kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces. Think Western chic - you'll be stunned from the moment you walk in! You'll be walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and downtown Denver, and a short Uber to any of Denver's attractions.
THE SPACE:
With 6 proper bedrooms and 9 beds (plus a separate office space), this is one of the only vacation rentals in Denver that can comfortably accommodate larger groups. All living spaces are light-filled and above ground. Please note, however, that this home has 2 bathrooms (both fully remodeled), which some larger groups may find tight.
The kitchen opens into a large living room with a large Samsun Smart TV, with YouTube TV to access local channels, sports, and more.
The dining room is designed for entertaining with seating for 10 (plus 4 at the kitchen bar).
LOCATION:
All the Denver has to offer is within a short walk or Uber ride.
Within 1-2 blocks you'll find Steuben's, Ace Eat Serve (modern asian food + ping pong), Revival Public House (great spot for a burger and beer) and Marzcyk's Fine Foods (an excellent stop for groceries, prepared meals to go, and wines).
Within a 5-10 minute walk are even more Denver highlights: notable music venues The Fillmore and The Ogden Theater, The State Capitol, The Brown Palace, Hudson Hill (one of our favorite coffee shops), Voodoo Doughnuts and more.
Within 1-2 miles you'll be in LoDo, RiNo, 2 of Denver's best parks (City Park and Cheeseman), Ball Arena (Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche) and Coors Field (Colorado Rockies).
AMENITIES
-In front of the house you'll find a small porch and outdoor seating area for your enjoyment.
-A washer and dryer are available on the lower level at no charge.

Other things to note

Very convenient location if you need to be near downtown. Our group of four was in Denver for a work conference. Outside of house could use some cleanup and curb appeal, loose cement/rocks near front door. Bed frame upstairs is broken and wobbles badly, upstairs toilet seat is broken. Mattresses not comfortable, sheets stained, house not cleaned thoroughly-food on floor, bugs/dirt on window sills, sock in weird spot upstairs. Took an hour to get the tv to work. We're used to having a book by owner explaining home and use of amenities, that would've been helpful w/tv. Neighbor sat outside w/friends getting drunk and singing loudly one night.

We loved this property, especially the cow wallpaper! This is a beautiful old house that has been lovingly remodeled with plenty of room for everyone. It’s walking distance to several local restaurants and the convention center. We would definitely recommend this listing to anyone visiting.

Very nice place with easy access to downtown Denver if you like to walk anyways. The restaurants nearby are good too (especially revival!). I'd definitely stay again.

Place was great. Kinda a long walk to downtown but lots of restaurants and bars on the way to break it up or it’s a short scooter or Uber ride. Neighborhood is quite and safe with many conveniences nearby.

We had 9 people stay at this house for one night after a concert. Absolutely beautiful renovations with very large bedrooms. We were only a 5 minute Uber to the Pepsi Center. There was ample parking in the back. Our hostess was easily accessible through the app. We would absolutely stay here again with a large group.

Our recent stay with a group of professional women for our college reunion was truly enjoyable. This VRBO exceeded our expectations in many ways.
Upon arrival, we were impressed by the tasteful interior design. The space had a modern yet cozy atmosphere, striking just the right balance. The living area provided a comfortable retreat for us to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring and reconnecting.
The layout was perfect for our group. The bedrooms were spacious and well-appointed, ensuring everyone had a restful night's sleep. The beds were comfortable, with soft linens and ample pillows. There are only two bathrooms but that did not present any issues for our group of 9.
While we didn't utilize the fully-equipped kitchen for cooking, the kitchen island quickly became a central gathering spot for our socializing. We found ourselves congregating there. The open-plan design of the kitchen and island facilitated easy conversation.
One aspect we particularly loved was the proximity to a market just around the corner. We found it incredibly convenient to grab snacks, drinks, and other essentials, including a well curated wine shop. It added an extra layer of convenience to our stay.
Additionally, the location in uptown Denver made it incredibly accessible to the rest of the city. We were able to easily hop into an Uber or walk and explore different neighborhoods and restaurants.
The host was attentive and responsive, ensuring our needs were met.
Highly recommend.
