Great place for a relaxing quiet vacation. Plenty of amenities inside the cabin. There was no mention in the listing of no AC but most cabins don’t have them anyway. Plenty of fans available and the evenings were cool. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

Our extended family group of teens and parents had a lovely week at this property, swimming, relaxing and grilling. You’ll see more loons and bald eagles than people on this beautiful lake. (Consider bringing or renting your own canoe, kayak or paddleboard to explore!) The house is located down a stretch of dirt road so is very quiet, but it’s an easy drive to a number of nice spots in the Midcoast Maine area. The house itself is spacious and comfortable and the property manager is friendly and responsive. Thumbs up from our family!

Private, quiet, perfect lake house.
The pictures don't do it justice.

I wanted to give this 5 stars, but there were a few key things missing for us: a fire pit outside and kayaks/canoes for use. Otherwise, the property was great- views of the lake are amazing. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked dinner most days using the grill. The property is down. Well packed dirt road about 2 miles, which is awesome to be off the beaten path. It is close to a market store and about 25 min from a Hannafin’s (awesome farms close by for produce in summer). We visited Belfast, Camden, and Rockport during our time and even made a day trip to Acadia. One thing to note: the internet was slow (3MB), so take note if you are planning to do work. We ended up going to a cafe in Camden to do some calls and e-mails.

Beautiful views and fairly comfortable; some couches and beds were a little worn out. Nice to have many spaces to relax in with the upstairs living area, covered porch, outside area, and basement living area along with the large kitchen that allowed several cooks to work around each other at once. Kitchen needed more nonstick pots/pans. Not the best we've been to, but not the worst. It's a bit of a hike to get anywhere, but what isn't in Maine. Quiet and you can hear the birds and loons calling. Sitting on the dock was wonderful. Not enough dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and towels for our group size (one towel per person in the basement). Had to purchase paper products and trash bags during the week and limit our use of the dish washer and laundry machine. Water pressure and temperature were adequate in the shower. One of the sliding doors in the basement has a broken locking mechanism, so it was not able to close properly which I forgot to alert the owner about. We were aware of the washing machine door needing repair due to the note left, but happily the machine was still operable.

This property is absolutely beautiful!
The lake is stunning and the setting is perfectly peaceful. Jill was helpful and kind and very generous when needed.
We would definitely rent this property again and in fact hope to next year!
Thank you Jill!
