City centre location. Friendly staff and great service. Accommodation excellent. Good very good (breakfasts and dinner in each of their two restaurants)

Good Location
I had booked 1 double and two singles and I got one double and a pull out small double. Not satisfactory for the price I paid.

Upscale it was well taken care of and plush
Nothing. All good.

The staff were exceptional. They couldn't do enough for us. They were friendly and helpful.
The room was immaculate, I have never said that about any hotel room prior to my stay in The Savoy.
I honestly can't fault anything.

The room we booked was exactly the size and quality we would have expected with the money we paid and the staff were lovely. We also ate in the Hamptons restaurant at the hotel and it was beautiful.

Location
Hotel bar closed to early and no vegan options

Our room was amazing
Kes on reception was fantastic a credit to the hotel
Cleaning staff and bar/restuarant staff are lovely
Thomas at reception is probably the most ignorant, rude, demeaning person I have ever met in my entire life.
He was beyond rude during our stay and only for kes being a lovely gent we would have left after 1 night due to Thomas and his higher than mighty personality. Uniforms on staff need to be given some attention. One girl on reception in particular

Location.
We had the suite. It had multiple carpet stains. A Poor user light system. Dated interior. Our key door didn't work. Meaning we had to return downstairs twice to get them fixed. On arrival our booking couldn't be found, then it was. Seemed hectic. Lady was very friendly but for a 5star, it really under-performed.

nice rooms, nice location.
The restaurant really brought my enjoyment down. We ordered a medium steak, it came in several pieces with different sauces, very nicely presented. We got hot plates before the food, that’s nice, but it came 15 minutes too early, by the time the food arrived the plates were cold. The medium steak we requested was not cooked properly, more like blue steak… I asked the waiter to bring it back to the kitchen to cook it to medium and what came back was a burned well done steak that was way over cooked. For a 5 star hotel you expect better food, steak is such a simple meal to cook, and even though we gave them a chance to cook it better they managed to mess it up.

Great location. staff was very helpful with suggestions for dining and sightseeing, room was top notch, parking was across the street and the hotel validated your ticket
No complaints

Breakfast was great. Staff were helpful. Massage in the spa was fabulous. Bar area has lovely decor. Very clean.
Room was okay - quite expensive though. Swimming pool is tiny (7 swimming strokes in length and 4 across) and jacuzzi/steam room all a bit tired. Music in bar was really loud.

Check in was not smooth. The women working the desk was snarky and asked me if I really had a reservation. I booked through booking .Com and had a confirmation #. It took her 15 minutes to find my Reservation uner my 1st name? So strange didn't happen at the 4 other hotels I booked in Ireland. Sorry this is what I didn't like and the bar manager seems to have a problem with older clientele.
What I did like was the rest of the staff, truly friendly and the location and room
