Relax House is an ideal place to rest and enjoy surrounded by nature and spectacular views.
We have a pool with children's play area, BBQ ranch, terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, mini bar and gardens visited by tropical birds and views of the spectacular Arenal Volcano, all surrounded by peace and tranquility in harmony with nature.
Our facilities are located in a private condominium, with a security guard and restricted access with a remote opening gate. Also we have private spot inside the property for parking 1-2 cars.

Our host was very friendly and very helpful and informative about things to do in the area. He has very quick replies to any questions you may have. A 5 star host.
The outdoor space is very nice. We didn't use the hot tub, as we weren't there for long, but if we'd been there a little longer we may have. It looked like a very nice feature. We loved the hanging chairs on the balcony, and if the sky is clear, you have some pretty good views.
Inside was pretty stuffy and could use airing out more regularly and honestly just feels like it needs a little TLC. It is well equipped though, and had most of the little details that you want in a space, like paper towels, coffee, etc. that some places don't think count. We were happy with this.
Overall, great location, great host, and decent value for the money.

Beautiful place. Room and kitchen have one entrance on the main floor. Second bedroom upstairs accessed from outside stairway. Separate coded locks for the rooms. Excellent communication and response from the host.

This home is gorgeous! So many lovely spaces to hang out in before and after your adventures in La Fortuna and Arenal! We were a group of two families with small children. One family stayed in the downstairs bedroom and the other stayed in the upstairs bedroom. The kids loved the community pool too!

Very cool accommodation, loved the outdoor space and soaking tub! Host gave thorough instruction's for check in and was helpful with answering our questions. Sleep sofas were smaller (and uncomfortable) for sleeping, but they had a very comfortable blow up mattress for our second teen to sleep on, it just took up the remaining floor space. Great views! Loved the soda Volcano just down the street for dinner. About 20 minutes to downtown La Fortuna.

This house is like a piece of heaven on earth! It was situated in a beautiful area, just minutes away from the shops and restaurants. It was beautiful and tranquil with an abundance of exotic birds and had a gorgeous view of arenal volcano! Kaylor was THE BEST host and gave excellent restaurant recommendations and was immediately responsive to any communications. Absolutely would stay again, I already miss the place!

Communication with the host was great. We received detailed instructions and suggestions on restaurants and activities in the area. The view from the balcony was amazing. We spent a lot of time outdoor. We liked that the house is secluded but it's conveniently located within 20 minutes to all the attractions and restaurants. We had a great time!

I took my 2 daughter to La Fortuna for a 5 day and we stayed at Kaylor place. We loved the volcano in the background of his place!!! We loved what his place had to offer! He has a 2 person jacuzzi that my girls loved to soak each night! Beautiful outside area with tv! The Ac in each bedroom was wonderful after a day of hiking in the humidity! Beds were comfortable and each room had a bathroom. Outside upper deck furniture was a nice touch to sit outside and watch the rain! Check in was very descriptive with pics! He was easy to get a hold of and talk to! This place is in a gated community and has a community pool. We didn’t use the pool as his place has the jacuzzi. Very close drive to grocery store and downtown La Fortuna! I would highly recommend this place. We absolutely loved it!!!

Our family had a great time at Relax House - the neighborhood is very quiet and an easy 15-minute drive into town. Our host communicated with us in advance to prepare the best sleeping arrangements for our kids and gave thorough instruction via WhatsApp on property access and amenities, though I wish we hadn’t arrived after dark, as it made it a bit trickier to find the home (but that’s on us). And the hot tub was SUCH a nice perk!

From the very beginning ,communication and instructions on how to get there and gain entry was very clear.Keylor is a great host and attentive throughout the entire stay if you need him.There is absolutely nothing out of place or out of order so if there were any doubts just reach out.We saw hummingbirds,and many different birds while there,the jacuzzi was great to relax and the peace and quiet was thething we were looking forward to and received.this was our first trip to Costa Rica and because of the great hospitality,views,and culture we will be returning and definitely staying here once again.THANK YOU Keylor for reminding us that THIS is the true dream we all look for and deserve.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time at the relax house. It was the first place we stayed in after arriving in Costa Rica, and with the quaint little neighborhood and locked gates to the neighborhood and the house, we felt completely safe and comfortable. It is such a cute place and looks exactly as pictured and described in the listing. It did end up being just a little bit farther from town then I thought it was going to be, but we ended up liking the location even better than staying right in the middle of La Fortuna. We had a rental car and didn’t mind a little extra driving. We didn’t cook while there, so I can’t speak about the appliances, but it did seem well stocked if we did want to cook while there. The one thing I would suggest is that the owners would provide some washcloths along with the towels. Although the house is in a neighborhood, the house felt very private as the yard was totally surrounded with tall shrubs so you could enjoy the outdoor area and the hot tub with complete privacy. The host gave very detailed instructions for check-in as well as check-out and communication was very easy through WhatsApp. Overall, we did love the relax house and would stay again if in the area.

The property was exactly as advertised. The outdoor space was cozy. We had a private chef come over and the accommodations were perfect for a meal for 3. Only thing that was off putting was the ants in the downstairs kitchen and the sour smell of the main bedroom. The shower doesn’t get hot, lukewarm at best. But other than those nits it was a pleasure. The property manager was very thorough. The property is nestled in a neighborhood so it was cool to be surrounded by locals. Not too far away from downtown La Fortuna but would have enjoyed being a little closer to it seeing as how the property doesn’t offer any remarkable views of sunset or sunrise. Overall, would stay here again.

The home was wonderful for our last night in La Fortuna. Easy space for cooking and socializing, and the jacuzzi was so relaxing. Wish we had planned to stay here longer. Only difficulty was not receiving the directions until we were ready to check-in. Our host was very quick to respond though and once we received the directions, they were very clear and with pictures! Highly recommend!

The property had two enclosed bedrooms with A/C, the kitchen was outside the lower bedroom so could also be enclosed if you wanted or opened up. Lots of room to hang out outside. It was comfortable and perfect for our two nights. It’s close to La Fortuna but still took 10 minutes to get to the main center. Keylor was excellent with communication. He responded quickly and his English was really good.

Amazing property, great use of out door space from the mezzanine with hanging hammock chairs, to the covered dining, out door kitchen area, with picnic table, outdoor grill, since and counter top, to the covered jacuzzi area with hanging swing and bar. After enjoying the outdoor space it was so great to escape to air conditioned bedrooms. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Relax House for three nights. It is a quick drive into La Fortuna, which has many excellent restaurants and grocery stores, and to the waterfall. There are a couple of convenience stores nearby Relax House that had everything we missed picking up in town.
We are in town each evening and then drove back to the property. It was nice to be able to log into our Netflix and Prime accounts on the outdoor TV.
All in all, this was a great and affordable rental.

Great property with beautiful view of Arenal Volcano. The drive to La Fortuna was only 15 minutes away and was only 3-5 minutes away from several local grocery stores.
Communication was perfect and very easy to understand check in and check out process. A/C was a huge plus.
Property would be good for a group of 4 with plenty amenities (bbq, hot tub, pool, kitchen, etc).I would recommend this spot.

During our time in Costa Rica, we really enjoyed our stay at the Relax House. It was a very beautiful house with a great view of Arenal Volcano. The surrounding of bushes gave us our privacy that we really enjoyed. The grill, jacuzzi, and hammock swings were very good additions to this house. The neighborhood was very quiet. Just keep note that the road through the condominium is an unpaved road, so it's recommended to drive North on the main road to circle around without driving a longer distance on unpaved road as recommended from Waze.
The host Kaylor was an amazing host. He was extremely available, very kind, and addressed any concerns/issues we had in a short time. He also shared recommended local restaurants and attractions and is very informative of La Fortuna. I really enjoyed chatting with him, as he was very kind and easy to chat with.
Some recommended tips. Always have bug spray available at hand, especially on hot days. This is a general tip for anyone visiting Costa Rica. And avoid turning on lights at night as it will attract bugs and insects.

We loved our stay at Relax house! It is such a beautiful property, clean, secure and well kept. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay. The property is conveniently located. Close enough to town for shopping and restaurants but far enough away from busy downtown traffic and noise. Also close to La Fortuna waterfall and Arenal volcano. Host Kaylor was very helpful and easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. We would highly recommend Relax House for your home away from home in La Fortuna!
