Room smelt stains on the bed ,

Good warm room at a good price

Some construction happening and breakfast was cereal n bread no cooked breakfast

the heater was strong

It was filthy, smelly and had poor facilities. No genuine breakfast area as stated. Pillows stunk of other people’s sweaty heads, hairs on the floor, bathroom filthy - old urine around the toilet, floor itself was dirty, bulbs inoperative in the room, excessive noise and drafts through the antiquated bathroom window, hard to find the place too as postcode isn’t quite matched to location

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, decent size, good en suite shower

Room could have done with a small lamp for dimmer evening light - as it's currently just a choice between bright room light or darkness

Filthy room and bathroom mosquitos flies and spider in the room couldn’t sleep whole night light in the room fluctuated whole night and when went to reception to change the room no receptionist will not recommend others for stay there

It was cheap an cheerful, handy if you want a cheap place to stay an you not to fussy about cleanliness, staff were friendly, I had read from the reviews it was a bit dingy so I didnt expect the ritz. My bed was clean and comfortable which was the main thing.

I booked 2 Rooms for me and my Sister.Both Rooms and on Suites were Dirty and Dusty. Beds were not even put out properly.Paid for Breakfast but didn't Eat there as it was also not very Clean in the eating Area.My Sister pointed out how Dirty it was and his Answer was I Swept the Floor.

This is very basic accommodation but clean and very convenient. Personally I think it was great value for money and ideal if you just want somewhere to sleep when travelling. the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was advertised as continental but was just a bag with 2 croissants left in the room. This is fine but it needs to be clear that's what it is in order to manage expectations

The place was absolutely disgustingly filthy Toilet and shower hasn't been cleaned for a long time. All the facilities very poor and really bad upkeep of the premises. Will never return and don't recommend it to anyone. Place resembles a run down doss house Booking .com should check these places before advertising them

Absolutely filthy. This room was an outbuilding at the back of an Indian restaurant, not even habitable. Mould all in the shower, toilet bowl brown and filthy, thick dust. Just squalor.

Could have been cleaner, and the place is very basic. Breakfast was included, but this consisted of toast or cereals, but there were no bowls or milk available

The quality of the whole establishment was second rate

The breakfast was useless… Quite reasonable location. Friendly staff when they were there.

All that was left for breakfast by 8.45 was some cornflakes – but there weren't any bowls left and no members of staff around. The toilet and shower were really dirty with skid marks left in the toilet pan and mould in the shower.

we enjoyed our stay we would recommend other people to stay at the white house lodge in water beach the food is excellent , very good service ,,we would recommend this place to family and friends

The hotel and the room was SO dirty. We were travelling two adults and a teenager and our room had a single bed, and a bed a little larger than a single bed. for that bed two persons had to share a one persons blanket. We had 1 towel to share between 3 persons. and four pieces of toilet paper. we had to buy some ourselves. There were a lot of bugs in the sink and the toilet. in the evenings there we a lot of noise with people partying with loud music and yelling. the breakfast was two kind of cereals, but you wouldn’t eat there anyway because it all was so disgusting. you didn’t even feel like touching anything. the walls, floor. SO dirty.

The owner can't do enough for you. Really nice guy. Bed was comfy. Plenty of parking.

This is not a luxury hotel and is budget.... Close to road

Location is good. Beds were comfortable (although the double was actually a 3/4 size up against a wall) and staff were friendly.

Room itself was clean enough, but smelled rather of public loos when we came back in the evening. Cause of that not clear, but sleeping with window open was necessary. Shower was too hot to shower in and there seemed to be no way of adjusting it. No information in the room to say how the included continental breakfast worked, but assuming that we were to help out selves in the area downstairs. The continental breakfast area was a bit of a shock with unclean surfaces, fridge not clean, bread for breakfast a number of days out of date. Random crockery and cutlery. Decided against that. Area of entrance rather chaotic, with discarded microwave and suchlike. Car parking area strewn with rubbish and would have benefited from a clean out. Could be a lot better with some attention.
