Nett, aber noch viel Luft nach oben

Die Grundidee des Hotels wäre toll. Es hat aber beim Service und der Ausstattung (Restaurant) noch Luft nach oben.

Das Restaurant ist etwas lieblos und kühl gestaltet. Der Service eher lahm uns freudlos. Das Essen war kein Feuerwerk. Das Zustellbett ist leider auseinandergefallen (wir haben jedoch beim Bezahlen einen Preisnachlass erhalten). Aufgrund des vielen Ungeziefers im Zimmer war das Schlafen auf dem Fussboden unangenehm.

La pau que transmet l’espai. És un lloc ple de relax i desconnexió. Habitació molt neta. Personal molt amable i servicial.

El menjar no ens va acabar de fer el pes i el llit era molt incòmode… les molles es clavaven a l’esquena!

Quiet, great accommodation and friendly

Fantastic location very quiet no neighbors on it own For a small independent hotel the food was ok Sri Lankan curries were excellent waiters were pleasant and friendly but do need a bit of training Pool is nice looking over fields rooms are massive and bathroom huge as well The owners extremely helpful

That we are not there now the only thing I could say is it could do with a safe in the room

Bon rapport qualité/prix avec une vue imprenable

Nous avons apprécié la vue sur le Lion Rock et la nature. L’emplacement sans vis à vis, la chambre était extrêmement spacieuse et l’impression d’être seul au monde, la décoration est de très bon goût et surtout le personnel est très gentil et toujours aux petits soins.

Nous sommes allés dans cet hôtel dans le but de nous reposer et de travailler un petit peu après un périple de 2 semaines au Sri Lanka. Nos attentes étaient simples: de la clim, une piscine et une connexion wifi pour travailler. L’hôtel promettait tout cela via Booking et ça n’a pas été le cas. - cuvette des toilettes dévissée et jamais changée malgré leur promesse - connexion wifi quasi inexistante - piscine sale et non filtrée. Pendant notre séjour de 3 jours nous n’avons jamais vu et entendu cette piscine tourner. Nous avons seulement aperçu le personnel jeter du chlorechoc le soir. - climatisation approximative et extrêmement bruyante - sanitaire des communs au rez-de -chaussée près de la réception, jamais lavé (du moins pendant toute la durée de notre séjour) Nous tenons à stipuler que nous séjournions à 3 personnes pendant 3 jours et que le coût par personne a été de 20€ par jour et par personne. De ce fait, nous recommandons cet établissement pour son rapport qualité prix. Mais il ne correspondait pas à ce que nous recherchions. Nous aurions préféré un établissement moins tape à l’œil mais avec des équipements qui fonctionnent. Pour les français qui lisent ce commentaire, cet hôtel est une Twingo dans un corps de Ferrai…

Die ruhige Lage etwas außerhalb ,war toll nach dem Trubel bei den Wanderungen . Wunderschöne Aussicht auf beide Felsen,beim Essen, vom Pool und vom Balkon . Sehr leckeres Essen und sehr nettes Personal. Preis-Leistung super.

Serenity thy name is Sigiriya Breeze

Location was perfect to capture sunrise between pidurangala and sigiriya. Rooms were immaculate. Staff were friendly and professional and very helpful.

Pool was dirty, Only one towel was in the bathroom and no bathroom utensils like toothbrush/paste- was expecting them for the price I paid

Buen alojamiento , calidad precio optima

La localización y las vistas . Cuando llegas es espectacular las vistas que tiene a la Lions Rock y Pirudangala Rock. Recomiendo llegar con luz Desayuno bueno. Cena también , en la terraza con vistas a la piscina.

La habitación muy bonita, pero muy húmeda , aunque eso no es raro en Sri Lanka 🤭. Alguna telaraña habría que quitar… No es algo que no me gustara, solo saber que está apartado .

Idealer Ort um auszuruhen

Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und friedlich - der Ausblick auf die Felsen, das Geschrei der Kraniche und das saftige Grün der Felder - alles in allem ein schöne Atmosphäre. Imasha is a great cook and you should go for the Sri Lankan breakfast option.

Unsere Räume waren gross aber im EG und etwas dunkel - ich glaube die Zimmer im 1. Stock sind freundlicher

La vue sur les rizières ainsi que sur le Lion rock (Quand le ciel est dégagé) est incroyable, surtout au bord de la piscine mais aussi des chambres. La chambre ainsi que la salle de bain sont de grande taille donc c’est confortable d’avoir de l’espace Contrairement à quelques commentaires que nous avons vu, la nourriture était très correcte et le buffet du petit déjeuné était certes léger mais plutôt bon avec un cuisinier qui peut vous préparer des œufs (Pensez juste à commander le café directement en arrivant ou vous risquez d’attendre 2025 pour l’avoir)

La chambre n’a probablement pas été nettoyé avant notre venue (Poussière partout, draps immondes (Tâches partout, poils, poussière, traces de moisissures sur les oreillers et j’en passe)), idem pour l’ensemble des serviettes et draps de bain, les verres à disposition avait encore les traces de bouche des anciens clients, il y avait des sachets de the vide probablement utilisé par les clients précédents, je ne parle pas de la quantité de moisissure au plafond ainsi que l’odeur qui va avec (Mieux après avoir aérée la chambre). Le personnel est très disponible mais ne comprend absolument rien à l’anglais et reste statique à côté de vous pour rien. Les commandes mettent une éternité à arriver.. alors que vous êtes seuls à l’hôtel L’hôtel manque d’entretien dans son ensemble sur les bâtiments (>< l’espace piscine et restaurant sont impeccables)

Heartbreaking and a very unpleasant stay !

1.There was no proper car park, first impression once we entered the property is very bad and not pleasant at all. The view from the room sigiriya and pidurangala are very far away, pictures in booking.com has been zoomed. 2.Booked the rooms early but they weren’t ready when we checked in. 3. Most disappointing part was the room, very unclean and poor maintenance, the glass windows in the room weren’t even cleaned at all. Bathroom was horrible water leaks into the bathroom floor when flushing the toilet. (Pictures attached). Unpleasant smell, broken bathroom shower. Unclean bathtub that dosnt work properly. Lights don’t work properly its dimming time to time and blacked out couple of times. * They compensated upon check out for the bathroom issue. Waved off breakfast for 1 person and room charges for extra person (4000lkr in total)… regardless of the compensation it was a very unpleasant experience that i never wanna experience again. Took a vacation after so long and ended up in a very miserable situation. We lost our mood to even enjoy the trip further.

Podia ser de topo com outros standards de limpeza

Piscina incrível e quartos muito grandes. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Staff extremamente simpático e sorridente. Segurança privado e com escolta para o quarto à noite.

Limpeza muito fraca, tínhamos uma chiclete no chuveiro e algumas manchas no chão que não sabíamos bem o que era. Quartos muito grandes e bons, mas com um olhar atento, nota-se muitos defeitos. Banheira não vedava bem a água pelo que banho de imersão tornou-se se difícil. Simplesmente não foi possível.

Amazing view, delicious breakfast, outstanding hospitality!

Breakfast at Ceylon breeze was amazing! The staff were really friendly and ready to help with anything you needed. The view was sensational especially from the pool and the restaurant! Sad we didn’t stay longer so we could use all the amenities especially the bath tub in our room!

The generator for our room was cutting in and out a little which was affecting the air conditioner but it still managed to keep the room cool.

Good location, good breakfast, and the basic premise of the accomodation is good ! But falls short as it is not quite finished construction it feels like.

Bathroom shower was not working properly (bad pressure, barely any hot water), and the finishings are all incomplete. The shower fixture is barely hanging on. There was a bathtub that was designed to be open air but we ended up getting pigeons get trapped in there

Exceptional

We were greeted with mixed fruit drink (a staple in Sri Lanka). Once we checked in we were shown to our rooms and they were amazing! I wanted to go swimming before dinner so I had to ask for the lights to be put on. The food does take awhile, so I recommend you place your order in advance. Overall, this hotel was my favorite design wise and waking up with the 5am sunrise was amazing. I highly recommend.

A lot of room for improvement

The room - that’s it.

To be totally honest, my stay wasn’t what I expected or felt was reflective of this property. The rooms were great however, big and good value for money. I’d book based on that alone. However the food there was not good at all, low quality and orders incorrectly delivered. The staff, even though they tried their best, aren’t on the ball. It felt as if the level of quality of service was not reflective of the property being offered. I’m overall property is dating quickly however is only 4 months old.
