Traumhafte Lage im Hang zum Nam Ou. Tolle Zimmer mit großem Balkon mit Ausblick auf Fluss und Berge. Nettes Personal. Absolut empfehlenswert. Der Pool hat eine tolle Lage aber müsste renoviert werden. Die Anlage liegt ca. 2,5 km vom Ort. Derzeit eine Dirtroad - sehr staubig. Es gibt kostenlos Shuttleservice ins Dorf hin und zurück. Klappt gut. Also dieser Nachteil wird kompensiert.

Les joints de la douche auraient besoin d’un gros nettoyage / rafraîchissement Le restaurant dont les prix sont quadruplés par rapport aux tarifs locaux pour des plats très basiques

Peaceful yet remote location

Views are stunning. Balcony is very nice and spacious to enjoy the view. Staff was very helpful and nice

Remote location, you completely depend on the free shuttle service from the hotel. We are experienced scooter drivers but would not recommend to count on renting a scooter there as the road is not so good and there are no lights. Bathrooms would need to be a bit refresh. Bed not comfortable (very hard). Curtains were very thin, difficult to sleep for us but depends on people. As read in previous comments, limited breakfast options but not a big deal for us.

Amazing staff, lovely location and setting. Very relaxing experience.

Staff went above and beyond. Attentive. Great shuttle service into town. Helped with a surprise bday present and breakfast. Food was good. Pool area lovely. Room very spacious.

Possibly better options for breakfast. Food and drink for dinner quite expensive. Limited toiletries in bathroom.

Fabuleux

Le personnel est vraiment incroyable surtout Kan qui était vraiment top et il parle Français :) L'emplacement dans la nature et au bord de la rivière magnifique. L'hôtel possède un service de navette pour aller au centre-ville ou à la station de bus qui est gratuit vraiment bien, car un peu en dehors avec la route traditionnelle. Bon petit-déjeuner et repas. Je recommande vraiment cet hôtel !

Malheureusement les prix en USD me dérange un peu, nous ne sommes pas en Amérique et le taux de change en kip n'est pas bon ... La piscine et la terrasse autour mérite un petit coup de rénovation et entretien. Aucun ménage en 3 nuits dommage

Prachtig accommodatie, zeer ruim opgezet, met een geweldig uitzicht. Resort ligt wel echt ver van de bewoonde wereld, dus je bent afhankelijk van een shuttle service (die rijdt tot 21 uur) of je eigen gehuurde scooter. Het is een onverharde en onverlichte weg. Zeer ruime kamers en groot balkon met mooi uitzicht.

Meest harde matrassen ever. Optie voor een topper zou comfortabel zijn. En meer afzetruimte voor je koffers zou fijn zijn.

Totally amazing views

Amazing views from the hotel. Great comfortable big beds and rooms. The hotel with amazing potential for a boutique property. The staff is very helpful and is trying best.

Food was very basic for breakfast. We ordered dinner only once and it is better to go out and eat. The restaurant is a week point. The room was not cleaned perfectly and you can see all hotel kind of missing good cleaning. We used laundry service and got our cloths crumpled so much, never got laundry that way from rheumatologist street laundries. In general the hotel is missing proper management, otherwise would be an amazing boutique experience place.

100% satisfied with our 2 night stay

Almost everything is really on point to make you feel at ease. Vast clean rooms with a stunning view. And such CALM is very rare in Laos. Very good staff with a fluent English speaking manager, helping with your boat tickets. The free driver you can WhatsApp-around anytime is a really nice plus (makes you forget about the remote location of the hotel).

You can hear everything coming from the other rooms. The hotel is in a calm area, but calm neighbours aren't always guaranteed...

Heerlijk rustgevend resort met mooie uitzichten. Heeft nog meer potentie.

- Resort op een prachtige afgelegen locatie. Er is een gratis shuttledienst van en naar het centrum wanneer je er om vraagt. - De uitzichten zijn fantastisch - Grote en schone kamers met badkamer inclusief regendouche - Het personeel komt erg gastvrij over - Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm met croissants en pancakes en daarnaast kan er naar wens een gebakken ei of omelet gevraagd worden

- Het resort heeft onderhoud nodig.l: Losliggende planken bij het zwembad. De planken moeten opnieuw gelakt worden. Te weinig ligbedden en zelfs niet voor elk ligbed een kussen. - De kamers zijn gehorig. Buiten is het rustig, maar als je drukke buren hebt zul je ze horen. - Het restaurant is iets te duur, maar voorziet in heerlijke maaltijden en drankjes

Unfulfilled potential

Gorgeous, serene location out of the city but they are very generous with their shuttle. Spacious, quiet rooms. Helpful staff.

Excellent rooms completely let down by unfortunate, uncomfortable furniture choices and the ugliest wall finishes I have ever encountered. No blackout curtains so the light shone in all night.

Exceptional spot with breathtaking view over the river and mountains, nice pool, very good breakfast, staff very helpful providing a shuttle service from town after dinner.

The resort is 1,5km away from town center which is not correctly indicated on the Booking map - however for us it was more a plus than a drawback

Beautiful secluded space with pool and amazing views. Owner was helpful in organizing tickets, there’s no reception so everything is done by owner / WhatsApp. Great breakfast.

Activities and food 2-3x more expensive than in town. Sometimes felt that I was intruding on staff and space when asking for things or being at the pool/restaurant.

Superb

Really big, comfortabel room. Great service from the hotel staff and manager. Amazing secluded location overlooking the mountains, about 1.4km from the city centre. Usually they have free boat transport to the city center, but the boat was in maintenance during the low season so they offered free transport by car. The owner helped us with booking transit back and helped us out when both ATMs in the village quit. Overall great hotel, would definitely stay here again.

Not much, if anything: the prices in the minibar where more expensive then in the city centre. Then again: its a hotel minibar.

Very good

The staff were exceptional! Could not do enough for you. The beds are insanely comfy. Shower is amazing. The view is incredible.

The menu is pretty overpriced. The food is great but at 5x times the price that most other restaurants charge in the area. Our bill for food came to 726000 for two of us to eat and 2 beers. Beers at $2.5 for a large I thought pricey too. The kids there are very friendly but sometimes maybe a little too friendly! Sitting with us whilst we were eating and asking many many questions took away from the peacefulness a little.

Relax in a beauty environment

Awesome new resort. So quiet with amazing views over the river and mountains. Its 2 KM from the village but the team takes you by car anytime so Its not an issue. Totally worthy if you want to relax in a beautiful environment. Tasty breakfast!

I think if you ever visit Nong Khiaw you must stay at least 2 nights

1 Hospitality is so welcome and warm. 2 the view is breathtaking when you wake up every morning 3 you feel relax every seconds in here 4 they provide free shuttle service

Very good experience, we already miss this place

Everything, the place is wonderful, the room very spacious and clean. The view from the room is very beautiful. The resort is lost in the nature and it is far more beautiful than on the photos. There are a lot of activities to do around the place and the host will not hesitate to guide you and to book some trips for you. (The kind of authentic trips, not the touristic ones as he provides very good advices) He knows the region very well. Do not hesitate to go there, that's the kind of place that is really rare and authentic. We stayed 3 nights, and there was still a lot of nice things to do.

Beautiful boutique resort in a gorgeous natural setting

By far the most modern & beatiful accommodation in Nongkhiaw. They have a huge garden, beautiful pool, breathtaking views and a river to enjoy almost all to yourself. The place is a couple of km outside the main town, which makes it very private and quiet (if you need to get to town, the staff can easily drive you there or pick you up in their boat). All the staff is lovely

The menu could be more diverse, but they were working on it.

Exceptional

All modern comforts whole enjoying the natural beauty of Nong Khiaw. Large rooms with a river facing terrace, comfortable beds and a very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend to enjoy a relaxing time on the Nam Ou river
