About this house rental
10 acre retreat on one of the most coveted lakes on the Rideau with amazing waterfront and sunset Views!
This is arguably the best property on the lake, with great swimming from the beach in the protected bay and from the hundreds of feet of shoreline with lots of room and privacy to relax on your best vacation ever!
This property sleeps 18 people in 5 buildings, three bathrooms, a boathouse, a gazebo, BBQ, Wifi, Big Screen TV, full kitchen with two fridges SUPs and much more!
Multnomah is located conveniently at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 40 minutes from the Canada/US border, only one hour and 70 minutes from Ottawa, making it an excellent place for extended families to congregate. Families only please. The Wifi downloads at a 1gbps, which is very fast!
Beds are as follows: The main cottage has 4 bedrooms, two with King Beds and two with queen beds. Cabin #1 has a double bed, Cabin #2 has a queen bed in the screened-in area and a set of bunk beds (2 single mattresses) in the enclosed bedroom (not shown in pictures yet). Cabin #3 has a double bed and the bunk-house has four single beds.
Please note that we rent only the whole property out to one group/booking at a time.
The Rideau Canal is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and was rated #2 as an exceptional historic site destination by National Geographic.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, parties, and lots more!
