With highlights including a location 250 yards to the beach, multiple decks, a private hot tub, and four levels of space inside, this Carolina coastal home is the perfect choice for your next getaway to the Outer Banks. Restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping are all within just a few minutes' drive. When you want to explore, spend the day in nature at Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, about 14 miles north, or head south around 20 miles for a dose of history at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. In between, you'll find miles of gorgeous beaches and the charming town of Duck, around 10 miles away. Closer to home, you've got access to a 7-acre stocked fishing lake.
But first, coffee - brew a pot and spend the morning relaxing on any of four comfortably furnished decks, then slip into the hot tub for a pre-breakfast soak if you're not quite ready to start the day. Inside, you'll find abundant natural light, cheerful coastal decor, and an open floor plan perfect for spending time together. The full kitchen features everything you need to whip up mealtime masterpieces, and there's plenty of room to enjoy a meal around the dining table or breakfast bar.
If you're spending the day at the beach, grab the four beach chairs, umbrella, toys, and boogie boards before you head for the sand, and use the patio's outdoor shower to rinse off upon your return. Toss the day's beach clothes in the washer/dryer while you cool off in the central air-conditioning. Entertainment options include six streaming-capable TVs and board games. Remote workers will especially appreciate the free high-speed WiFi and dedicated desk area with a monitor. Host a family barbecue on the grill, then call it a night in one of the serene bedrooms, several with direct deck access. The Outer Banks getaway you've been dreaming of awaits - all that's left to do is book it.

This house was very clean when we checked in. Very well equipped kitchen - it had everything we needed to prepare meals. The first day we checked out the grill and the propane tank was empty. I notified Vacasa and early the next morning they were there to replace it. The beach chairs were not in good condition and need to be replaced. The distance to the beach states 250 yards but it is farther than that. I believe the 250 yards is from when you reach the beach access not from the house.

Overall we enjoyed the Eagle's Nest house and location. We had a family of 13.
Pros: Great location. Fairly priced (could use some updating). Clean house. Indoor furniture in good shape. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, appliances, and crockpot. Grill was in good shape with cleaning tools. Nice bedrooms except for the downstairs Queen/Twin room. The bunk-bed room also had a trundle. Hot tub was clean and worked perfectly, accessed through a bedroom. There were extra chairs and boogie boards available. Plenty of parking for 5 cars. Outdoor furniture was heavy duty and in good shape on all decks. Beach access was 1 block away through the neighborhood.
Cons: Lots of stairs (which wasn’t a problem for us). Kitchen was on the 3rd floor. Refrigerator was missing the bottom shelf in the door and one of the condiment shelves was broken. Kitchen table needs to be refinished; it was sticky but usable. Downstairs Queen/Twin bedroom was extremely small (2 people max). No access to the closet without moving the twin bed and no dresser for your clothes. My teens called it the dungeon room. Living room and kitchen were small for the number of people the house holds but was manageable. No access to the community pool. Dishwasher wasn’t emptied on arrival and the top bunk bed was unmade. This was a minor inconvenience and took less than 5 minutes to fix. Community walk-through path right beside the house for beach access, we didn't have any issues.

Eagles Nest is an awesome place to stay. All the rooms are well appointed and clean. The property is close to shopping and dining. We plan to bring our bikes on the next trip. It was great to have easy access to the beach. Some of the best sunsets ever! At low tide we were able to find some nice seashells, even half of a sand dollar, guess that is my 50cents😊. Enjoy!

Everything was great with a few cleanliness concerns that we had no problem cleaning our selves …. Extremely moldy shower curtains , and pills on floor . The pills on the floor really irritated me at first but I realize no one is perfect and things get missed .

This house was very dirty, rooms not vacuumed, garbage left around the house and staines on furniture. Decent proximity to the beach but the house itself needs a refurnish. No pool but we were able to use the community one.
