Great location and cute house. Dishwasher not working but everything else was very good. We enjoyed staying there.

Overall pleasing to excellent stay. We were a small group staying for a competition/learning experience that took place in various locations throughout Des Moines. Everything was easy to get to from the location to the places we needed (from downtown to West Des Moines, Waukee). Grocery store as well as interesting shops, restaurants and big name stores (Costco) convenient. It was nice to have 2 distinct living spaces with 2 bathrooms (upstairs has 2 rooms with bath and downstairs has 2 queens with a twin and bath). Our only issue was faulty electrical/tripped fuse? which caused lights and certain plugs to not work during our stay. We could not locate a fuse box to fix on our own and didn't contact the manager just out of time issues and we were able to manage on our own-No problem there, just our personal choice. A small preference in the future is for the check-in information to be available prior to the evening before and have clear check-out procedures (where does the garbage go? Do we need to wash towels and bedding before we leave?)
We would definitely stay here again!

Owner went out of her way to make sure that we were okay with the home after a previous tenant had a fire accident. She brought in another microwave to temporarily replace the damaged one. The home suited our needs just fine. Our only suggestion would be that we needed washcloths for main floor bath (there was only one). There seemed to be a lingering odor of pot in the house that might need to be addressed. Surprising that would be what we smelled instead of the smoke smell from the fire accident, but that didn't bother us at all. Lenora really went out of her way to try to air it out and clean what she could before we arrived and we appreciated her efforts. Our stay was just fine. Thanks, Lenora.

You could tell the property was recently renovated. Nice finishings and extremely clean. Any questions/issues the host promptly responded to. We were visiting Drake and the location could not have been better. Felt perfectly safe and could be on campus in two minute walk. We had a party of three friends and the house suited us perfectly.

We came into town to see a show. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean inside. Short Uber rude to downtown. Would stay here again

Great house with nice updates. Seeing deer eating grass at the college behind the house was an unexpected treat. Clean inside, dishwasher included.
