Lake front, beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom and 2 bath home. The 3 bedrooms and 1 bath are upstairs (ground level) Kitchen, living room, and 1 full bath downstairs and central air conditioning throughout. Has sliding door that walks out to the lake view in a secluded cove perfect for swimming or fishing. Has a private dock and kayaks for use. All new furnishings including 4 new queen beds and washer and dryer. Large back yard with a fire pit for comfortably hosting your family's next lake get away!

Three couples used the house as a 4-day getaway, and it suited our needs well with one exception (more on that in a moment). The house was clean and the renovation appears to have been nicely done. The yard and dock could use some upgrades, but were sufficient for our purposes. The kayaks were a big hit with our group, and one person fished every chance he got. We also enjoyed eating outside two nights. The property managers were very responsive when we let them know the plates were missing, and the coffee pot was on the fritz. They delivered replacements for both within an hour or two. (And it turns out, the coffee pot was user error; the basket has to be finagled to sit down far enough in the maker.) We were pleased with their communication with us. Unfortunately, we discovered one of the showers was leaking to the bathroom below, and because a part had to be ordered they were unable to fix it during out stay. It was challenging to have 6 people share the same shower, and the shower that was still available to us was tiny with weird handles and a shower curtain that was so light it kept blowing into the shower while we were trying to use it. Otherwise, everything was good.

We have stayed at many VRBO at the lake, this was probably the nicest , very clean , love the yard and location of the dock . No big hill. Very nice .

We had a wonderful stay. The home is warm and comfortable, clean and spacious. The lake is beautiful and the use of kayaks and paddle boards was very nice. Marion is a short drive for groceries and other needs. We played golf in the area and visited Garden of Gods.

Great location for hiking at shawnee national park. My grandchildren had a ball swimming and kayaking in the lake. Lake. Beds were comfortable. We had plenty of room for 2 adults and 4 children. Easy location to find. When we had a problem with the plumbing we had a quick response from the owner. My whole family gave the house excellent rating

We loved our stay here! Check in was a breeze! The whole house was nicely updated and the bedrooms were spacious. The only downfall was the dock didn’t have a ladder into the water.

Overall, this is a great lakefront property. The interior has been nicely remodeled. It was a little sparse-having some extra blankets, board games and sticks for roasting marshmallows would have been nice. The downstairs toilet was leaking. Having the kayaks and paddle boards was great. The dock could use some updating and a ladder down into the lake. We had to use a paddle board as a "step" to get in and out to float or kayak. It is on a nice quiet cove and we brought rafts to float. It's not very deep-maybe 3 feet-so we didn't really swim. They were easy to get in touch with when we had questions.

House was as advertised and communication with the owner was easy. We liked the location of the house being on a quiet cove. If you would like to use the fire pit or sit on the dock, bring your own chairs. This was mentioned in the description, but we forgot.

My daughters and I really enjoyed the house. It was such a relaxing weekend. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. We did some hiking. Our two dogs also enjoyed the trip. Per the other reviews, the house didn’t have a ton of towels, and there were some, minor things missing from the kitchen like plastic wrap, salt and pepper, etc., but there is a Walmart not too far away so that did not ruin our trip. I definitely would book again.

Very relaxing week at the lake. The property was easy to find. Located on a calm and quiet cove with easy access to the main lake. Level front yard and half of the back yard is level too. Easy slope down to the private dock. Back patio gets morning sun and afternoon shade. That would be a big bonus during summer months. We would definitely stay again.

Interior of the house is as it shows in the pictures. Looks newly renovated. May or may not be completely done but it was nice and clean which is key! Good amount of space. Nice kitchen and appliances. My only comments would be: 1. outside could use a good power spraying to remove cobwebs, and landscape debris from the siding and walk. 2. There is no beach area as it is tucked back in a cove therefore if you’re looking to swim you would need go out into the open water. 3. Lake side could use some clean up as well and maybe a place to sit.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is clean and the upstairs bathroom shower is fabulous! The rooms are spacious and airy. It is right on the water. My only wish is that the kitchen would have had real drinking glasses and some more cooking/serving bowls. Wine glasses would be nice, too. (We left a couple for the next guests!) With that being said, I would definitely stay here again.

This property was very clean. The owner and manager had great communication and were very helpful and accommodating during our eclipse stay. The location on the lake was great. Nice, quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. The house was lacking in some basics such as a hair dryer, plates that could go in the microwave, extra blankets, wine glasses, cork screw, etc. Overall, our stay was great. Just wish we would have known to pack more.

The house interior is beautifully remodeled and the lake is spectacular! Wish it would have been warm enough to take advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards! We will be back in the summer for sure!

We had fun spending time together at your lake house. The house needs more bath towels. We had 7 women in total ( the house sleeps 8) there were only 5 bath towels ☹️ in the whole house. We were washing towels every day and making some girls shower at night and some had to shower in the morning so we could have enough for everyone. This place should have at least 10 full size bath towels if it sleeps 8. No wine glasses to be found , that’s a must with all the wineries in the area. The coffee pot is a instapot like Kuerig but was listed as pot and to bring filters and grounds. Bring your K cups instead because making coffee with grounds was a total mess with this set up. The home was clean and the appliances were new and that was very nice. We didn’t get to enjoy the lake this time because the weather was rainy every day, maybe next time.

Our family had a wonderful, much-needed getaway. The house is located in a clean, quiet neighborhood. The interior has recently been tastefully and nicely updated. Everything was super clean, which is one of the top things we look for when booking places. There was room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Check in and check out were super easy. The host was very helpful and promptly replied to any questions that we had. We were unable to find the grill tools but made do with what there was in the kitchen. There are basic kitchen items provided. The only food or drink items that are provided are salt and pepper, so be prepared to bring coffee, spices, paper goods like foil, napkins, etc. Our family loved hanging out at the dock and using the kayaks and paddle boards. As others noted, there are many weeds around the dock, but we were not planning to swim anyway. For the price, cleanliness, quiet area and amenities, we would absolutely stay here again!

This was a great place for my husband and I to stay for our daughters wedding. It was the perfect space for all of the brides maids to get ready for the big day. The renter was very responses to any questions that I had.

Very nice. Needed more amenities though like grill utensils, colander, smores forks, a few cleaning supplies., dustpan. Was hoping to swim off the dock but there were too many weeds.

The property was beautiful! And well equipped. Everyone felt the beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked excellent! We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. The home is quite clean and modern. Loved the paddle boards and kayaks!! There is sea grass in the cove so not the best for open swimming. Our upstairs shower drain clogged but that’s what is great about having two full baths. And maintenance offered to come right out and fix. Couldn’t ask for more! I highly recommend this property. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The property was very clean and spacious. We did not use the outside space much as we have good friends that live on the lake and spent our days with them but the cove is shallow so a perfect place for our 7 and 9 year old grandsons to paddle around on the kayaks in the evening when we returned to the house. Nice yard and outside eating space.

Nice accommodations for 2 families under 1 roof. Pet friendly, has 2 crates so no need to bring one. We had ample space and everything we needed. Outdoor space is great!
