Stayed here for a super-fun girls weekend with friends. We basically lived in the sunroom! The house is very spacious with lots of room for everyone. Gorgeous location and a wonderful place to relax. We've been doing group trips since 2016 and this is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location. We realized one of the showers didn't work as it should the first night. Texted with an agent and she had a repair guy there the next morning. Friendly and helpful.

2 small issues and 1 big issue. The Freezer handle came off, I think it was broken before, we just didnt know it. The other small issue was not too relevant for us, but the lower kitchen upper cabinet door fell off as I opened it, 2 screws barely held it on, the other 4 were already off laying on the shelf. So the big issue was the master bed, 1st night uncomfortable, we didn't care too much we were tired. 2nd night we noticed we kinda fell towards the middle, just thought it was a old mattress. But the 3rd day I looked under the bed. The 2 wood slats were broken in half. Not sure if the last renter did it or noticed it or reported it. We'd be happy to stay there again IF the bed was fixed or replaced and also a new mattress. Other then those 3 issues, we loved the view from upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were clean.

Although there were a few small things that needed some TLC (totally expected for the end of a busy rental season) this home was clean and perfect for our varied needs! The host was friendly, understanding and quite helpful! We’d definitely stay here again!

This property was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Plenty of room to relax and close enough to walk to places to dine or shop. Really enjoyed our weekend and hope to stay again.

This home was very spacious with a wonderful upstairs
Very clean and supplied with all necessities.
The location is perfect for this city. Lake Michigan is right across the street! The public beach is a short drive away and so pretty.

The Property, House, Location and surrounding neighbors were great. We had no problem at all enjoying ourselves regardless of some of the things that came up. I sent a message to Our Hostess so she can be aware of those things. NO sense in disrespecting her or the owners for the little issues we ran in to. the house is great. Lots of room.

This was a great rental for 4 adults and 4 kids. We loved all the space upstairs for the kids to go hang out upstairs, or the adults to hang out when all the kids were in bed.
We enjoyed the private beach we could walk to on the street and enjoy the sunsets. We enjoyed being a 30 minute drive to other towns with breweries and good restaurants.

There are many positives about the place. Nice location, lovely view of the lake and a great 2nd floor and 3 season porch. There are a few considerations though. The house was not very clean and many things are cheaply done or just a bit off. The wine fridge was broken, the freezer door handle on the refrigerator was also broken (and never repaired while we were there despite notifying the manager) and there was no gas for the grill. A little more care would have been appreciated, but overall it we had a fine stay.

This home is great for a large group and Heather was an excellent property manager. Unfortunately, we needed her far more than we had hoped to, so we were very thankful that she did her job well.
During the week we dealt with a wasp nest on the front porch, and also 4 out of our 7 days staying, we had HVAC repairs being done as the air conditioning in the upper half of the house was not working properly. Heather kept in touch continuously throughout the process, which was awesome. However that did not change the fact that we had to deal with the inconvenience of the problem. One of the repairmen mentioned that they had been out the previous month for the same issue, so the owner of the home clearly needs to step up in this.
If you are a large group, you will love the ample space and the location of this home. We walked into town daily and loved the close access to the beach! And the street was nice and quiet- a great place for the grandkids to ride their bikes!

The property is nice but it felt a bit dated. It was clean for the most part, although did see quite a few crumbs inside the oven door handle. Several of the blinds are broken & could not get one of the lights to come on upstairs. Messaged the owner about the lights & never heard back from her. Also, there are train tracks somewhere near the property & you can hear the train jthroughout the day.

There were 10 adults and an infant. There was plenty of room for all. The laundry washer didn’t spin dry so not sure about dryer. We didn’t cook, but good coffee pot and kitchen appeared well stocked. Overall, we would recommend staying here, the view is beautiful!!

My family enjoyed staying to celebrate Thanksgiving. It was enough sleeping room for everyone. Beds and sofa was comfy and warm. View of the lake was amazing. Definitely would be a great place to stay in the summer months.
3.0
The space was very uncomfortable for 8 adults and 3 children. There aren’t any living spaces with enough comfortable seating for more than 6 people. The beds and pillows were also uncomfortable to us, so no one slept well. The cabinets were very disorganized and dirty. Everything felt dingy and dirty to use/sit on/sleep in. Some areas had a very musty odor. I think it would be fine for a group of friends going to party for a weekend, but it didn’t work out well for my family who likes to cook and relax around the house. Given the rate and the cleaning fee, it should have been a much nicer stay.
Pros:
Beautiful view!
Easy communication

Great place to stay!! Perfect location - walking distance to many food places and lake. Plenty of space for sleeping, 4 bathrooms, several rooms to hang out in and a large kitchen. If I’m ever in New Buffalo again, this will definitely be the place I stay! Highly recommend this place! :)

The property manager was very helpful and super quick to respond to accommodate our group with just 24 hours notice after our original house rental fell through at the last minute. Loved this place! Tons of space for a group, a library of fun board games, and it had a great view of the water. Maybe bring your own pillow if you’re picky like me, as the ones on the king bed were a little flat, but everything else was perfect for us. Very clean. Quiet neighborhood in walking distance to shops and restaurants, too!

It was a great getaway with my folks and our kids. They didn't want to leave :-)

The house was perfect for our extended family. The walk to the private beach was no more than a block and the public beach a short drive away. Unfortunately, because of Covid many of the shops were closed and the restaurants on a limited timetable. The area is very nice and the sunsets were spectacular.

Great property for 10 people. Beautiful Sunsets. Looking across Lake Michigan.

A very nice home with many different gathering places for adults, children, teens. Beautiful sunsets over the lake right across the street. Well equipped kitchen. There are a few issues that need to be addressed. Doorknob to porch door came off in my granddaughter's hand and we never could get it locked in again. Slider to (beautiful) upper porch is REALLY hard to open. I never was able to initiate contact with the manager. My email to her went unanswered prior to the visit. However, the check in info was forwarded in a timely fashion and was very clear.

The home was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. A good option for families seeking easy access to town.
