Fab hotel and I just love the views out into the harbour, watching the boats and the tide ebb and flow. Worth paying for seaview room. Beware of winter opening hours and do let reception know that you will be arriving, especially on a Sunday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

All good with room.
Initial check-in confusing!
Has to go 2 the cafe next door-but this hadn't been mentioned?

Fabulous harbour view both from bedroom and conservatory. Breakfast was delicious and if that is standard of catering, I wish I'd had more meals. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend and any slight flaws very easily overlooked. Thanks to everyone.

Shower slow. Marks in toilet. Not cleaned under sink taps. Room noisy with windows open, but appreciate its a working harbour. Loved the location for being central. Beautiful breakfast. Great service in the restaurant.
Great fish and chip's from take away. Great food and drink from restaurant

Glasses and cups were not clean and bedding had not been ironed.

Great little place but lots of minor points which just stop it being exceptional. Check in fine but we were told restaurant closed at 7pm. Couldn’t confirm if that was doors closed or last orders though as no manager on site. We therefore booked for 6pm but people still rocked up and walked in at 7.15. A bit like the left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing.
Evening meal, couldn’t fault quality but whilst menu not overly extensive, 3 items on there were not available which did annoy other diners.
Breakfast, again , great tasting what we had but whilst good choice of mains, there was no fruit (fresh or tinned), no pastries, no yogurt.
Room - very clean, all toiletries, coffees etc , water, towels for both of us there on check in. However , whilst requesting room to be cleaned on day 2 , bed’s not made, only 1 bottle of water replaced, both bath towels removed but one new clean one added, dirty coffee cups not cleaned or replaced. Didn’t spoil our overall stay but just numerous small points which stop it being 5*

Lovely place with comfortable room, friendly staff and good breakfast. Centrally located but a little difficult to find - look for a harbourside restaurant.
Would give it 5 stars but for the early morning noise from the boat house below our room

It was a fantastic stay - the room was very comfortable and clean directly on Bridlington Harbour. The food and service was first class - would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

I would highly recommend Salt on the harbour. Room was nice and clean. We've had our room cleaned every day and we've had towels changed every day. The manager and staff were really helpful and polite. Breakfast was delicious and portions were very generous. Julie was welcoming and polite with massive smile on her face. We will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Arrived to find that the free parking was actually 4 spaces for seven rooms and also restaurant staff. Pay and display full so waiting around some time to get in rooms! My room looked out onto said pay and display and unless curtains closed people staring in the entire time as they walked by! Food shown on site was only available Thursday - Sunday rest of the time it appeared to be fish and chips. Service was slow although staff were ok! My room still had peanuts on floor from last resident and no maid service in our two day stay! Would not recommend

Staff couldn’t be more helpful.
A totally friendly workforce on reception, at the bar and at breakfast.
Will definitely be returning

Stayed before October 20, so had a return visit . There wasn't as much staff as before . Because of corvid . Did find a tissue in a draw, and clothes in the wardrobe. Which should of been checked .
Breakfast was nice, there was a little mix up with the food, but was soon sorted . We had a nice room . With a double view, one of the sea, though a way off, and a harbour view . All in all had a nice stay, and would go back again . The bar seemed to be shut, for residents though . The staff are nice thanks

Nice place, was difficult to find. Well located and the staff were amazing.

The hotel and food are both very good, probably the best I’ve seen in Bridlington. We were a bit put off by the apparently poor Covid awareness shown by the manager and most of the staff. Only one of the eight staff seen during our stay was wearing a face covering, and their was little seen in the way of sanitising going on.

Birthday treat checked in 27th may 2 nights room was fantastic spacious with fabulous views we ate in the restaurant I had crab and surf turf cooked to perfection my partner had sauté prawns which melted in mouth and haddock for mains which seemed over done think need to change all shame but still a fantastic night
Breakfast was great it was hot it came fast and nothing was a problem for Julie the waitress she even got me black pudding for the next day she was friendly and told where to go and see thanks Julie much appreciated
I had oysters for lunch best I’ve had
My opinion outside was chaotic when it got busy people where waiting ages for food or they where only bringing food to half of the tables and forgetting to bring the rest !drinks seemed too take a while don’t think them iPads they order on help things just need too be more organised. I loved our mini break away infact we have book for end or June

Had a lovely stay at the salt, we stayed in room 4.
Lovely clean room, extra pillows, tea coffee and bigger biscuits than what you'd normally get, more cookie size.
Has, an iron and ironing board in wardrobe, though would be better if they weren't, attached together.
Lovely bathroom, with corner bath and shower. Plenty of towels, with heated towel radiator. This gets very hot, so be careful. Got caught on it a few times. Can't turn it off.
Staff amazing, brilliant costumer service, every one wearing a shield and masks Breakfast was, lovely everyday and hot.
Had a great time highly recommended, and would love to stay again thank you x
