Loved the cottage, it exceeded my expectations. Great location. A period cottage that provided comfort and luxury at the same time. Hot tub an added bonus. Lovely to see donkeys in the garden and a pub only 10 minutes walk away.

Nothing related to the property as such but if you do the walk to Castleton be sure to have transport back pre- arranged. Well worth it though.

We had a warm welcome from the host when we arrived earlier. The chocolate and prosecco on the table and the fresh sheep milk sent to the front door were absolutely an incredible bonus for our stay. Staying here for a 3-day vacation is a dream realised beyond our expectations. Here would have been our top choice when visiting the peak district.
The property inevitably had some technical issues because of being aged. But there might be just a minimum and would not substantially undermine our pleasure of staying here.
