For a one night stay it was fine.
The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The room was roomy.
It was VERY difficult to open the windows. They need to be repaired. No fresh air in the room as a result. The fridge was noisy.

Bad
Shared bathroom. Elderly (70 year old woman) told room came with Shared bathroom but not told bathroom Shared with men. I Walked through door with Bathroom sign on door only to be confronted with male urinal in full view from doorway. Male person at desk informed me this type of Shared bathroom is normal, same as caravan parks which IT IS NOT. Caravan parks and other locations with Shared bathrooms are gender specific.not Shared by men and women. I spent $160 for 2 nights accommodation which was not used because I was required to use a bathroom used predominantly by men who judging by the numbers of laundry baskets containing clean Hi Viz clothing were for workers in local industries associated with mining or steel making. At no time was?I informed I had to share a bathroom with men. When I paid for my accommodation and picked up my key, the man who took my payment only mentioned a Shared bathroom AND failed to inform me, a 70 year old woman that I would have to Shared the bathroom with make guests. I did not stay at the Mirabeena Motel and consequently spent/wasted my money. I felt I had been misled about bathroom facilities as a women having to share the bathroom with men because at no time was I informed of this. If I had been I would not have paid 2 nights for accommodation I did not use.
I could not bring myself to share a bathroom with men. This information was never provided to me either at the time I booked nor when I checked in to the facility and paid for the accomodation.
