Super ervaring!! dichtbij de airport en leuke omgeving, goede restaurants en mooie lagoon!! Vriendelijke en informatieve

De eigenaar kwam mij snel ophalen van de airport, super geregeld!! Gevraagd of hij een ontbijt kon maken, was ook binnen 1 uur geregeld! Veel informatie gekregen over Sri Lanka, leuke en interessante dingen om te weten! Bed ligt heerlijk! Al met al super ervaring, aanrader!

Oordopjes zijn nodig als je gewend bent in stilte te slapen.. vlakbij de airport en je hoort de vliegtuigen duidelijk, neem dus oordopjes mee als je gevoelig bent voor geluid!

We can't rate this homestay highly enough. The family was charming, welcoming and efficient. The cleanest room we've stayed in, peaceful, and with all amenities, like TV, kettle, fridge and hot water to shower. The lagoon is a short walk, with restaurants on the water, and the best meal I had in Sri Lanka. The airport transfer was most welcome. We rate it 11 out of 10

We'd recommend having better signage, as our Tuktuk driver struggled to find it.

Sehr angenehmer Ort für Abreise

Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend . Wir haben ein leckeres Essen bestellt und am Abend auf der Terrasse eingenommen. Wir haben gefragt, ob wir beim Kochen zuschauen bzw. helfen können. Dem hat die Gastgeberin freundlich zugestimmt und das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer war schön mit Ausblick ins grüne. Beide sprechen gut englisch, so dass man sich gut über verschiedene Themen austauschen konnte. Der Transfer zum Flughafen rundete das Angebot ab. Vielen Dank für die angenehme letzte Nacht unserer Reise.

Excellent option for a night near Colombo airport

Excellent communication via Whatsapp and airport pick up included (our flight landed after midnight). Super friendly family stay. Private room with a/c and bathroom with hot water. Comfy bed. Nice little balcony to watch the birds in the morning. Close to the airport. Lovely breakfast included and they also have some dinner options. We've booked again before our flight home. Great value.

GREAT STAY

the place is very well maintained, clean, the air conditioning works well and has a large terrace where you can rest, it is surrounded by a lot of vegetation, it is a very quiet area just behind the main street . the host was very gentle, he was attentive to our needs. Transfer free to the airport and dinner and breakfast delicious!!! Highly recommended.

Prima start van de vakantie.

Homestay niet ver van vliegveld gelegen. Geweldig dat we ondanks vertraagde aankomsttijd toch nog werden opgehaald Zeer vriendelijke familie, eenvoudige, schone kamer en goed ontbijt op het terras.

Great quiet airport stay!

The nicest host and room we had in sri lanka, they are really amazing. Room is big very clean with great air-conditioning, amazing shower and toiletries. We were really happy there and would not have minded to stay an extra day. In Negombo is great for shopping and restaurants and very easy to reach the airport! Free drop off in the morning was perfect!

We liked everything and have been very happy of our choice! Breakfast is sausages and omelet and they serve you as you sit so if you are vegetarian or vegan you might want to state it the night before.

Convenient location and lovely room.

Lovely clean, large, bright room with balcony area. Room is furnished thoughtfully and comfortably. Down a quiet lane away from the busy road. Friendly hosts. Very near the airport, with free transfer; very convenient and secure. Good food available in the evening, in the pleasant upstairs open-air dining area. Clean, new bathroom with hot water if desired.

The air-con is very efficient but I prefer a fan. I find air-con too cold and stuffy (not to mention the environmental concerns). However the area around the house is very hot, and there are quite a few mosquitoes, so it was needed. The breakfast was a bit disappointing; nice fruit plate and juice, then some plastic-looking sausages and eggs were put in front of me without checking if I was vegetarian/vegan (which I am). Tea arrived at the end, by special request. Although it's very conveniently placed for the airport, the area doesn't have much else to commend it. Good, I should think, for a very late arrival/early departure, rather than a lengthy stay.

Many positives about Abubowwan beginning with Amith, the owner - always there to assist and supply the answers when needed. Liked the breakfast and the cleanliness. Balcony provides nice views and look for birds if that's your thing

Lovely Homestay,near airport,perfect to begin or end your travels.

Wonderful family home stay,friendly,helpful service.Comfortable room,lovely bed and linen.Good breakfast,nicely presented on the breezy top deck..Airport pick up or drop off included….highly recommended,thank you.

Not a touristy area…restaurants nearby overlooking the lake.This Homestay is perfect for airport arrival and departure stays.

A great place to start and/or finish your trip to Sri Lanka.

Amit and family are great hosts. Room was lovely with really good food and location was very convenient for the airport with free pick up. Amit can also organise excellent driver+car for tours of the country.

Great homestay with fantastic hosts

A great place to stay for the night after a long flight. The host picked us up from the airport and then took us to tuttuk rental the next day. They are a lovely family and very knowledgeable about the country. Breakfast was fabulous, at our request Sri Lankan but they also do western. On the evening, they cooked us a super meal . The room is lovely and spacious, comfy bed and powerful shower. Highly recommended as a base for either an arrival or departure night or as a base for exploring the local area.

バスルームもベッドルームもホコリひとつ無いくらい綺麗でした。周辺の宿よりやや高めですが快適に過ごせます。早朝便に間に合うよう時間通りに空港まで送ってもらえて助かりました。ホストも親切で夕飯を食べ損ねた私にバナナを分けてくれました(笑)

Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen: sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön, die Freiluftterrasse war sehr einladend zum Verweilen. Es hat wirklich alles gepasst. Wir bekamen auch die Fahrt zum Flughafen. Also alles top.

Perfekt für die erste/letzte Nacht.

Sehr nette Besitzer und hervorragendes Abendessen. Der Transfer ist kostenlos dabei und dauert ca. 10 Minuten. Wir würden beim nächsten mal definitiv für die Ankunft und den Abflug wieder dieses Hotel buchen. Das Zimmer war renoviert und hatte einen Kühlschrank, was perfekt zum Getränke kühlen war.

Great.

Breakfast was great - fresh fruit, toast on their beautiful balcony. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and tidy, with water, coffee, tea and kettle provided. Good hot water in the bathroom. The hosts provided a good vegetarian meal the evening before - there was a miscommunication about ordering extra rice but they happily got us some more. Excellent working aircon in the rooms. Hosts were very attentive and helpful - arranging to drop us off at the airport for our flight (only a 10 min drive from the homestay so very convenient!). Home is under the flight path of the airport but we couldn't hear the planes at all in the bedrooms.

Nothing was too much trouble for Amith and his family, even picked us up from airport in the early hours of the morning (03.30). Room was spotless and bed was very comfortable.

There was no shelf in the bathroom near the whashing basin to keep all the toiletries. We kept things on the floor in the room. Adition shelf in the bathroom, other than in the shower will make more convenient.

All perfect!

Booked very spontaneously when I arrived at the airport. The owner picked me up within 15min. 🤩The room has everything you need and it is very clean. They helped me with organizing my onward trip and the breakfast was lovely too! If you need to rest before heading east, south or north, I recommend to stay with them

Highly recommended accommodation

Excellent facilities and value - everything as advertised and stated in previous reviews. Amith met me at the airport and dropped me back for my flight home. The place was almost new with a comfortable aircon room and bathroom with hot and cold shower. His wife cooked delicious meals. I had all Sri Lankan food by request served in the pleasant rooftop dining area. There is a coffee machine which needs a little more coaxing to produce a good coffee - but Amith is trying hard! A most pleasant 36 hour break between London and Sydney.

very close to Airport, newly done room and bathroom. Very clean, owner is a kind and nice person,

i used this homestay for one day for the Airport transit stay and it is very close to Colombo International Airport. Room was very clean. The room has a AC and TV, Attached newly done bathroom. The room size very big. The owner is a very nice person. They cooked very nice and tasty dinner for me. Breakfast was very nice included in the price. This is a perfect stay for a couple days. Owner is offering a free transport to Airport either pick up or drop off.
