About this cottage rental

Beautiful new self contained cottage set on large grounds, conveniently situated midway between Mittagong and Bowral and close to restaurants, shops and wineries. A world away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but easy access to all the Highlands has to offer. An ideal base to explore all the towns of the Highlands or stay home, relax and read in front of the fire.
There is abundant bird life and beautiful views of Mount Gibralter.
Some breakfast provisions, teas and coffee are provided.

The space
Brand new fully self contained cottage with full kitchen and bathroom with bath and large shower, separate toilet and lounge, dining area with large screen TV.
Large alfresco area with views of the garden and BBQ is the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Guest access
Guests have a separate entrance and driveway but are welcome to stroll in the garden.

Other things to note
This area is very quiet in the evenings and is suited to couples wanting a quiet, romantic weekend away. We would ask that you respect our neighbours and refrain from making a noise.

We had an enjoyable stay. The host provided so many little extras, from champagne, cakes, sourdough, tea, coffee and much more. Beautiful private home, ver clean and comfortable.

Tucked Away cottage was the best we have ever stayed in. We were impressed with every aspect of the cozy but modern cottage, where everything we could ever need for our stay was supplied. We were delighted with all the special ‘extras’ provided by our amazing hosts, which we did not expect. The fireplace was an absolute treat on the cold days. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others visiting the Bowral area.

A superb cottage for that quite retreat in natural peaceful green surroundings. From booking right thru to departure everything went smoothly. Cottage fixtures and fittings were of high quality standard and kitchen contained ed all available items for making light breakfast and snacks incl. milk, juice, bread, nespresso coffee, teas and many other items which are on a long list to mention. Thank you.

Tucked Away Two is the perfect escape for a peaceful, relaxing holiday yet very close to the centre of Bowral.With perfect presentation, Debbie and Mike pay attention to every detail, even leaving delicious Friands to enjoy on arrival. We look forward to a return visit.

We enjoyed the most relaxing time in this stunning cottage full of beautiful welcoming touches by the two most amazing hosts ever! Debbie & Mike were such wonderful hosts & nothing was too much trouble , they were so welcoming, yet leave you to have your privacy as well. Their elegantly decorated cottage is immaculately kept & also the gorgeous lush green gardens, so pretty. It was bliss to arrive & feel at home straight away. It was also just beautiful to relax on the deck & enjoy the views . We can’t recommend this property enough. It’s close to everything you need, but yet so quiet & peaceful to relax & unwind. Thankyou so much for all the delicious treats also Debbie & Mike. It truly was the best place we have ever stayed in. We will be back to stay in your stunning cottage again soon. This cottage is just perfect. Everything and more has been thought of. Debbie goes the extra mile, with fresh home made goodies. Very considerate and respectful. The cottage itself is very clean and comfortable with parking at the door. The location is handy to Bowral, Mittagong and pretty much all of the Southern Highlands. Exceptional property with everything provided. Hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to make everything perfect for our stay including some unexpected food treats. The place was well stocked with various food items. Luxury accommodation with exceptional attention to detail and design. A lovely, warm and cosy cottage in winter. Situated under Mt Gilbraltar with great views of the mountain on late sunny afternoons. Great location for shopping, dining, etc. (only 5 minutes from Bowral town centre). Would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful cottage when visiting the magnificent Southern Highlands. We will definitely be returning for another stay. Can't say enough about it. You will be hugged by luxury when you walk through the door! Attention to detail is apparent throughout, with high class furnishings and finishes the order of the day. The provision of thoughtful supplies is the icing on top. This is the perfect base from which to explore the Southern Highlands and is an ideal stop between Sydney and Canberra. The hosts are warm, eager to please and just such nice, down to earth people. Enjoy your stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Tucked Away II and hope to return one day soon. The cottage is beautifully designed and equipped with incredible attention to detail. It is in a very quiet bush setting. The owners have thought of everything to make staying here a joy. It is the best self-contained accommodation we have ever stayed at.
