SARGASSUM NOTICE
Sargassum, a type of brown algae, has been washing up on shores all around the world in recent years. While it may not be the most sightly thing on the beach, it actually plays an important role in the ocean's ecosystem. Sargassum provides habitat for numerous marine species, such as sea turtles, fish, and crabs. So even though it may be a bit of a nuisance for beach-goers, let's remember to appreciate the important role it plays in our oceans and remember it's seasonal. If you are concerned with Sargassum please be sure to ask us during your reservation process.
Note: Secret Beach is only a 10 minute cart ride or so and will never have Sargassum, this is the PERFECT option to enjoy a sargassum free beach if there is any on shore during your stay.

its a very old house and most of the handles are rusting and need an upgrade very badly the construction next door is pumping all the water in the front yard

Loved staying at the property. Communication with the host was very seamless and very helpful. There was construction happening on a new house right next door, but the host let us know beforehand which was very appreciated so we didn't show up and get a shock. The house was comfortable. I do think an update of the images of the place are needed. It does look like they were taken at least a few years ago because a lot of things were well-used. Things like the faucets + shower heads had some rust which I am sure is from the heat + humidity. Overall I would recommend this place hands down!

This property is really cool, but the location on the map in the listing is completely incorrect. It shows the house in town, south of the bridge. Is actually a solid 15 minute drive outside of town, way north of the bridge. We picked this house because of the location (we wanted to walk outside and be in the middle of bars and restaurants and this was not the case), so this was really disappointing.
That being said, everything else was awesome. The sargasm was smelly sometimes, but really not a big deal. It will prevent you from wanting to get in the water on the property, but it didn't stop us from hanging out on the porch all night. With the wind you really can't smell it. I was worried, but it was really a non-issue.
Communication with Cecelia was great. She was really responsive. We had issues with the golf cart one night and by morning, it was fixed. They arranged transportation for us and were very helpful. Our group was super comfortable there and we did discover cool things to do north of the bridge. :)
Please note that gas stations on the island close at 8, so that put us in a bit of a bind on the last night when we needed to fill the tank.

I know the owner can’t control Mother Nature s f the seaweed issue but when arrived the beach was covered so much we couldn’t get in the water at the house. My kids were very upset bc they were promised a house they could swim at. When I reached out to asked why werent we given a heads up I was met with a rude response of “how did we not know about it bc it’s been going on for almost 2-3 months”.
A fan and light fixture were non functional and we were told someone be there the next day to work on it but no one asked us if they could come into the house while we were out fishing (the management company knew we would be gone) so apparently people waited an hour for them left. Not knowing this I checked the light to see if it was fixed and received a n electrical shock from trying. Let the management company know it wasnt fixed they said someone come the next day, still no mention of needing permission to enter the house. The next day we return from our excursion to find people waiting outside for us. They were unable to fix it said they would be back, at this point they asked if they could come in without us there. Made them aware the frig was turning on and off. They said it had to be our fault bc the frig was new, they didn’t even look at it.
Since we had 5 in our group we couldn’t use the golf cart at the house, something we didn’t find out until about 3wks before the trip when I reached out to the management company with the email provided by the previous owner of the house. So be ready to spend extra on a larger golf cart. The day we left the shuttle was suppose to let follow him so we could fill up the rented cart and return it (all planned and discussed the day before) but that didn’t happen the taxi took off and when we reached the dock it was gone. Had to call and make other arrangements.
House is in need of some TLC from ocean environment.
I mentioned previous owner, house sold in October but all communication goes through the old owner bc it hasn’t been changed over in vrbo something to do with making sure the new owners get revenue for trips book prior to the sale and keeping the rating (old owners words not mine)
For all the issues we had we were give a 100 credit back less than 4% of the cost of the rental.
We will be back to belize for sure but will not stay at this house or any house owned by the new owner and will be cautious of properties ran by the management company (cmp) as well

Another trip to San Pedro, Belize, did not disappoint! Casa Nirvana was a beautiful oasis for our group to experience life as an islander when staying put and close enough to jump on our golf cart and explore the nearby restaraunts and bars of downtown San Pedro. The hospitality of the management made it easy and comfortable for us to slide right into island life. They were happy to help us plan our week with suggestions and bookings with superb fishing and snorkling guides as well as an in house chef who provided the culinary expertise of their wonderful island cuisine. We loved spending the mornings sipping our coffee on the porch watching and hearing the gentle waves and life taking place on the water in front of us. The beautiful palm trees provided much needed shade and kept us feeling like we were in a jungle paradise. As we felt the urge, we found ourselves feeling the sand between our toes when we meandered our way to the chairs closer to the water or even a walk along the waterline. As I am a seashell collector, I loved being able to get my feet in the water and walk along the shore to see what beachcombing had in store for me that day. I must say one of the best places to enjoy a relaxing vacation while also feeling immersed in the local culture.

We picked this property not really knowing where it was on the island. It was a great find. Outside of the busy downtown, yet close to great food and bars. We had no issues with the house and if we needed anything it was just a message away. This is only about a 10 min golf cart ride from secret beach also. Excellent location and great property. Check it out if you are heading to San Pedro! Thanks!

Our group enjoyed the quiet and beautiful views of this VRBO location! It was great having the golf cart included so we that we could see and enjoy that side of the island.
The house came with the basics and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say is that the downstairs living room chairs and porch chairs were not very comfortable. Other than that we loved it there.

From the day of my initial booking up until we left the communication with Conrad & Lucette was great. The home was perfect for our group of 2 couples and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were just a short golf cart ride from the center of town or Secret Beach (a must do). Watching the sunrise from the beachfront was amazing.
We shall return

We stayed at Casa Nirvana for 9 days in Jan 2023. The house is as shown in the photos. The one issue is that at least on the VRBO listing it showed the approximate location close to San Pedro when actually the house is 6-7 miles north of town (just north of Residences of Barrier Reef). It is a 15 minute cart ride to town. This is not too difficult however, just not close to larger grocery stores. The really nice extras is the 4-seat golf cart as well as the complimentary pickup (and stop at grocery store) and dropoff. The house has a beautiful area out front with sand and the hammock was wonderful. Not any real beach area due to the sea weed. The washer/dryer and gas grill were great additions to use. Best grocery store we found was SuperBuy on Middle Ave as it was bigger with more options and had nice selection of fruits/veggies. So the house was quite nice and allowed us to enjoy the tours. We were two older adults with 4 28-year olds. One tour was the snorkeling at Shark Ray alley, etc. The other tour on the island was with Tuff-E-Nuff and was the snorkeling at Mexico Rocks with fishing and BBQ. That was a fun day. The kids (young adults) fished and were able to bring home some fillets for the grill. The kids went a couple of times to Secret Beach. We also spend 3 days/ 2 nights up in San Ignancio where we did the ATM Cave (a must), and next day Caracol, Rio on the Pools, and Big Rock Falls. To be frank I could have done without this as it is such a long ride there and back. Next day the kids did Black Hole Drop at Caves Branch which looked like a great place to stay. The kids loved the tour. We stayed at Rolson Hotel in San Ignancio which was great. The attached restaurant was superb. On the way over to the island and back we initially took Carribean Sprinter ferry which was $40 roundtrip. For the back and forth for San Ignancio we used Belize Water Taxi Express. Normally it is $55 roundtrip but Carlos the taxi driver was able to get us tickets at the local price of $40. We ate a couple of times at Tipsy Lobster which is good. Also saw the burrito guy once. All in all if you are staying on Ambergris Island then Casa Nirvana is a great place to stay.
4.5
In general, we loved our stay at Casa Nirvana. There are a few suggestions for improvements though:
- I was really unfortunate to constantly have super bright floodlights all around the property. Totally understand the safety they allow, but it meant we could never really enjoy the stars from the property & would have to move down the beach to get into darkness. We were told they are run via solar so there's no way to turn them off, but why not put motion detectors out there? The light flooded the front bedroom on the ground floor & I heard constant complaints from my teen.
- more kitchen supplies!! We were surprised there was literally NOTHING in the way of spices, oil, etc. And very limited tableware/glasses. It wouldn't be a huge investment to add to the very minimal amount that is there, & with this house so far from town, it was a pain to have to drive back in for spices & basic cooking ingredients (which we left behind so hopefully they remain there for the next person).
- We had a pretty major situation happen during our stay (the gas line in the storage room came away from the nozzle part) - we heard a massive explosion, and then heard (and smelled) the gas screaming out. My son was in there getting a kayak down and the kayak tip touched it (by no means did it crash down on the line so it must have been very fragile). First: very dangerous to have such a critical piece of infrastructure in an area guests have to navigate heavy things out of, and Second: it took over 2 HOURS for someone to come look at it....my husband managed to turn the gas line off but had he not done that the gas would have been very very dangerous. We found out during that process that ownership of the property had changed? Seemed odd to not know who's house we were in, but whatever.
- interior lighting: more is needed. Just a few more table lamps so we wouldn't have to use the horrible florescent lights would have been appreciated.
- an information book with restaurant suggestions, wifi, contact info, info re the house - the usual stuff - would have been great.
- during the first couple days, I was thinking it would be lovely if the house hired someone to clear the sargassum each morning, but then I watched the house next door do that and watched it come back immediately every time they stopped. Seemed pointless. It's unfortunate, but what can you do?
We did LOVE our time in this house, but a few minor improvements would make it that better.

Cool house ! Great area ! No crowds ! Laid back !

Beautiful location!

Quiet neighborhood right on the Caribbean.
Access by the old road right along the beach, confusing at night in the beginning..
Close to restaurants by golf cart.
Boats can pick you up at the dock nearby for fishing, snorkeling etc.
Accommodations were great for six adults.
Really ideal for decompression, away from the bustle of downtown San Pedro.
We had a fantastic week.

We really liked our stay at Casa Nirvana. As everyone mentioned, Conrad is a fantastic property owner. He provides you with so much helpful information, especially if you've never been to the island. The trip to/from San Pedro airport to Casa Nirvana was a breeze (thanks to his awesome Taxi guy). Lucette is amazing as well. She was super nice, friendly, and willing to help us out with whatever we needed.
The house is in a fairly secluded location, very clean, golf cart provided, cooking/drinking water provided, great AC, reliable Wi-Fi. We already expected the sargassum issue that others noted so it wasn't a surprise. There is absolutely nothing anyone can easily do about this so it was not a big deal to us.
Couple Tips: bring or purchase bug spray if you plan to walk up and down the beaches, eat/drink at Tipsy Lobster and Moon Bar. There are a ton of other great restaurants, but these 2 are pretty close to the house.

We had a beautiful time at Casa Nirvana! Conrad was amazing during the booking process and throughout our stay. His property manager went above and beyond and helped make things easier for us while on the island. Everyone we encountered on the island was wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Our 3 generation family of 6 stayed in this property for 11 days in July 2022. We've rented VRBOs in many countries, including the Yucatan and the Caribbean, and this property does not meet the standard we have come to expect from VRBO rentals, especially those labelled "Gold Standard". The photos are apparently outdated as they do not represent the current reality.
We were drawn to the location which was described as "steps to the water on your own private beach". However, the seaweed was very thick and rotting, and therefore very smelly, and the beach was covered with huge amounts of litter. There was no access to the water and it was unpleasant to sit outside because of the strong odor. Other nearby properties had the trash and seawood removed.
The kitchens are not fully equipped as stated in the description and it was a challenge to prepare and serve meals for 6. There is no glasswear, no can or wine openers, very few cooking utensils and very few mixing and serving bowls. There were no dishtowels in either kitchen (Upon request, the property manager brought us 1.) We were unable to eat our meals on the larger table for 6 in the lower unit because it was too wobbly.
The clothes washer is not working properly so we were not abe to wash our bath towels, sheets or dish towel during our extended stay. The roof deck was covered with debris (glass, tiles, metal pieces) and unusable until we cleaned it. The wooden doors are peeling and hard to open, the outside light on the upper deck is not working and the upstairs kitchen sink spews water from the base. In the downstairs unit the toilet bowl is cracked, the metal faucets are corroded and the air conditioner has an unpleasant odor. Sadly, this is not a complete list of items that need repair.
We informed the owner of many of the problems with the property shortly after we arrived and he responded by saying he would look into them. He did give the property manager permission to replace our broken toaster.
Despite our disappointment with this property, we enjoyed out stay in Belize. The reef is fabulous for fishing and snorkeling and the local people are friendly and helpful.
P.S. We would have appreciated an information packet to help us navigate our stay in the neighborhood. It would have been helpful to know where and how to get water, different ways to access the reef, the names of local guides and local attractions. Many VRBOs provide this helpful information.

My friends and I had the most amazing time at Casa nirvana !!! It was all that we needed and more !! I highly recommend to stay here !! P.S. The rooftop is beyond a dream !! I will definitely stay here again !!

We enjoyed your stay at Conrad's property. Conrad did everything he could to make our stay pleasant, from assisting us with travel arrangements to the island once we landed in Belize City, to our arrival and stopping at the store to procure food,
We had pleanty of room for our family of 6, and Lucette was very attentive in helping us plan excursions for the day.
Pros: Golf Cart provided... a must for getting around the island, and Conrad provides this! 2 kitchens. Water provided. pleanty of towels and beach towels. Laundry machines to use. Transportation to and from the home on arrival and departure.
Cons: Depending on the time of year, the sea grass can be awful. Unfortunately we arrived during a time wherein the island is experiencing some of the worst sargassum ever. The locals had never seen anything like it. Sargassum stinks like rotten eggs. The dock at this home does not reach out to the sea, and due to that, we were unable to access the water from the home. This was a big bummer for us, as we spent most of our days elsewhere becaues our teenagers wanted to play in the water. We are told that traveling to the Island from November through early March = no sargassum. Arriving during the rainy season = lots of rotten egg smell :(.
Would I recommend staying here? Definitely. It has everythig you need, you may just need to go elsewhere to access the water.

We had a great time at the property and felt that the service and attentiveness that were given to us from the property manager (Armando) and the owner (Conrad) were above and beyond what most properties provide. The only reason we did not give the property 5 stars were due to some things completely out of the control of the property owner, like the excessive seaweed and trash that kept washing ashore in front of the house.
Armando was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond in making sure that we had a wonderful trip. From getting us a second golf cart delivered to the property, to making us dinner reservations, to contacting the dive shop to confirm pickup times and even bringing us fuel to refill the golf carts prior to our departure. Armando's service was better than any concierge at the nicest hotels in the world.
As for the property itself, the location is perfect if you want to stay a bit out of town away from the noise and construction in downtown San Pedro and particularly if you want easy access to Secret Beach and the Truck Stop (two can't miss spots on the island). The property literally provides everything you could need including sea kayaks, stand up paddle boards, washer/dryer, golf cart, two kitchens with all of the appliances you could possibly require. But renters should know that there are minor issues with all of these things because you are staying at a private home in a developing country and not at a luxury resort. Thus, the value that you get with this home is exceptional if you go into it with the right expectations for the price you are paying and the country that you are staying in.

Best quality/price find in a very private location, yet close to the action, in Ambergris Caye. The house is very spacious, has two separate kitchens and faces the water for beautiful sunrises to view. It also has a top floor terrace, which is great for sunbathing. Armando, the property manager, provided an excellent concierge service- from finding a last minute snorkeling tour on Easter Sunday, to calling the local airline on our behalf, to arranging a local meal cooked at the house, he had it all. The house comes with a complimentary golf cart, which is a definite plus and allowed us to go to the wonderful Secret Beach, local restaurants and grocery shopping.
The property owner, Conrad, has been extremely gracious and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. We were also so fortunate to visit his other property on the main land, called Kantara Ku, with 100 acres of natural jungle beauty and rescue animals, and close to cave tubing, cenotes and zip lining. We wish we had more time and will definitely go back!
4.5
The house and location were wonderful. It was off the beaten path but still accessible to restaurants and beaches with the golf cart provided by the owner. The caretaker, Armando, was so nice and helpful. He set up dinners and excursions for us. The only disappointment was the sea grass in Belize. Obviously, that is out of the owners control. Overall, San Pedro is a beautiful and friendly island.
4.5
Conrad and Armando are great, very responsive and committed to providing a great experience. The house is on the beach about equidistant from Secret Beach and "the Bridge," probably slightly closer to Secret Beach - so a little off the beaten path, in a quiet row of beachfront rentals (between an empty lot and a house that is set back, so you don't really have neighbors). There is a path in front so you will see a few walkers as well as the guy selling breakfast burritos each morning. Tipsy Lobster and Truck Stop, among others, are a very short ride away on the included golf cart. Unfortunately, during our stay this side of the island was subject to unusually strong winds which brought lots of seagrass so we weren't able enjoy the beach, or the rooftop lounge, as much as we hoped. Inside, the house is spacious and clean and equipped with towels and fresh water and ice cold A/C. Plenty of good space for the 5 of us to play cards or watch a movie. If you plan to take advantage of the full kitchen(s), don't forget basics like salt/pepper. If we were to suggest any improvements, we would start with upgrading the beds and mattresses and updating the shower fixtures.

I visited Belize the first week in January with my wife and three college age adult children. Casa Nirvana is an awesome property in a great location and is as described, but the best part was the service. It was my families first trip to Belize and Conrad was always patient and willing to answer the many questions I had. The service Armando provided was exceptional. He met us the first day with coconut drinks and showed us all the features of the property. He helped coordinate our dive trips and his partner Lizette even made us a traditional Belizean breakfast that was delicious. We made full use of the kayaks and golf cart. We dove with White Sands and Amigos Del Mar. Both provided outstanding service picking us up from a dock near the house. Highly recommend the Blue Hole trip. Favorite restaurants: Tipsy Lobster (ask to see the crocodiles), Crocs and Palapas (on the water with lots of fish). You can walk the beach for miles. Victor rides the beach selling breakfast burritos and tamales each morning. Easy way to have breakfast. Everyone we met on Ambergris Caye was friendly and helpful. Sargassum was heavy but not a problem. Global human impact is visible in the large amount of plastic trash that drifts in to shore. Roads north of the bridge are rough with plenty of pot holes. We flew Maya to the island - they have a nice lounge area in San Pedro. BZE airport shopping worked well for souvenirs. Loved our trip. Can't wait to come back to Casa Nirvana.
4.5
Located directly on the beach, this great little place is perfect for those wanting to go on a getaway and get away from other tourists. We arrived with a rapid turnover from the previous guests and it appeared there were some needed repairs and cleaning that was still underway when we arrived. The caretaker, Armando, was friendly and at the ready to address any issues with the place or needs for our vacation. Thank you for letting us stay in your place.
4.5
First and foremost, Armando went above and beyond to make sure our stay and adventures were seamless. This included Snorkeling on the amazing reef that brings so many to Belize, swimming with sharks and rays, deep sea fishing, and hanging out at the house with the ocean literally at the back door and fresh coconuts off the trees in the yard.
The house itself is very comfortable, whether you want an afternoon siesta in a hammock or want to take the paddleboard‘s or see kayaks out for an adventure it’s all right there.
Sleeping at night with air conditioning was a true luxury.
The golf cart was a bonus and gave us the freedom to explore, go to dinner etc.
our family would return again without hesitation.
But wait, there’s more! If you stay a week, there is a jungle property also owned by Conrad. A quick 15 minute flight and an hour ride inland on the Hummingbird highway and Kantara Ku opens it’s arms.
Daisy , the property manager, was waiting with an amazing homemade breakfast made by her wonderful mother, Elsa.
Mr.Jose gave us an amazing tour of 100 acres that makes up Kantara Ku and Juan gave us an intro to the many rescued animals that live on the grounds.
The 3 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage was clean and efficient. Great to return to at the end of the day.
That was the first morning. The next several days included amazing adventures including zip lining, kayaking, visiting Myan ruins and incredible archaeological dig’s.
Our tour guides/ travel masters/ Niko and Omar were efficient, incredibly knowledgeable and made every day and adventure all the more amazing.
Do it all over again in a second. Teenage boys loved it, I can’t say enough about Daisy, Niko and Omar made the trip.

We had a great time staying at Casa Nirvana. The house is located on the north part of Ambergris Caye right on the ocean. It couldn't be any closer to the road to Secret Beach. Property Manager/Concierge Armando was great, taking care of all our reservation requests. He even came up early to help us get the kayaks/paddle boards out of the storage area and into the water. He then stayed to make sure we got back in and put them away for us. Numerous beach bars and restaurants a quick golf cart ride away. We loved Tipsy Lobster around the corner from the house and Bamboo Fence bar at Secret Beach. We dove with White Sands divers, who were fabulous and picked us up at a nearby dock. The marine parks were beautiful.
4.5
The house is in a perfect location on the north side closest place to the secrete beach which is the only nice beach on the island, the best food and bars on the north side of the island. The house was perfect and Armando the care taker did everything possible to make our stay great, his wife cooked for us and showed us how to make homemade tortillas food was great. You will not find another place where someone does everything you need, I highly recommend this place. The owner went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of.

I was recently able to escape with my family for a quick vacation and decided on this home.
I had read a previous review that was pretty negative, right before my stay, but after reading all the reviews, I found Casa Nirvana has been one of the highest rated homes on the island for a number of years, so I booked.
I am so glad that we did, the home was in the perfect location for my family, close to everything, beautiful and relaxing, but not in the crazy busy part of town. Also, it is close to the famous “Secret Beach” and walking distance to a variety places to eat.
The house has large comfortable rooms and is well maintained. It was very clean, and I was impressed with the 2 well equipped full kitchens. The Property Manager was very helpful during our stay, arranging tours and was always immediately available for anything we needed. I talked to the owner Conrad before we arrived because it was our first time to Belize. He was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the island and the country, as he owns multiple properties in Belize. He provided tips on where to go and what to do, and made it a trip customized for us. The house came with everything we needed without extra costs, like Kayaks, fishing kayaks, and SUP boards which was a huge bonus for us. I was so impressed with not only the house, but the customer service provided by both the owner and manager, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this or any of his other properties in the future.

We were so looking forward to our stay at Casa Nirvana but it fell well short of our expectations. Casa Nirvana pictures are a bit misleading. The house is more run down than the pictures show. Still, it was OK when we arrived until.....We ran into a problem with 100+ ticks that had invaded the house. We noticed them on the walls and furniture a few nights into our stay. The owner had an exterminator come the next day but when we arrived back at the house that night, the ticks were still crawling around. I definitely don't blame him for this problem, but when I contacted him that night to explain that the ticks were alive and well, he became angry and spoke very rudely on the phone. He told me there was no infestation and he had done all he could do. He also was very insistent that ticks don't exist in Belize, which is false. There are actually over a dozen species of ticks that live in Belize. He repeated told me I was wrong, even though he was not actually there at the house to witness the situation. I explained that we could not stay at the house with the ticks and after some arguing, he agreed to refund the nights that were left on our rental. While he did not have control over the fact that the ticks were inhabiting the house, he certainly had control over how he handled the situation. Getting angry at me, calling me a liar, and treating me disrespectfully was the worst. Scrambling the find somewhere to stay, pack all of our stuff, and shifting house late at night put a cramp in our vacation for sure.

Our stay at the Casa Nirvana started wonderfully. The house was perfect for our group of 6. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the beach! But then COVID-19 took center stage and one of our travel mates became seriously ill. My message is that the owner and property manager took very good care of us, super helpful in all ways. Thank you Conrad and Ty!!! We will be back!

Great location not far from anything, beautiful house, property owner(Conrad) and house manager (Ty) were readily available to answer questions, accommodate any requests, fix or supply anything else that was necessary! Conrad arranged for us to stay at his Kantara Ku property in the mountains of the mainland (which was a lovely experience) and was available to help me figure out some of our plans and excursions. Ty was avail early 24/7 and helped our two sons (17 & 22) navigate around San Pedro & beyond.
The house has everything you need to vacation, if you need more (lobsters, conch)Ty can help! Loved being North of town, quiet but tons of restaurants, grocery stores and shops within a mile or so.
We will be back!

This is the second time we visited the property in 3 years and each time the experience has been first class. Our 2 kids said this was the best vacation they have ever had.

From the moment we booked until we arrived at Casa Nirvana the property owner Conrad maintained constant communication to ensure that we had both stress free travel and a stress free vacation - both of which were top notch.
We had stayed nearby Casa Nirvana on Ambergris in the past so we knew the area, but the house could not be closer to the water. Upon arrival, Ty the property manager checked us in and provided top notch service for the whole trip. He checked in every day to make sure everything was satisfactory - which it was! I would highly reccomend this location - and based on my experience with Conrad I would venture to recommend his other properties as well just from a customer service standpoint.
Highly recommend!

Quiet and convenient to san pedro. Golf cart a huge plus! Family scuba trip and close access to reef and multiple dives and dive shops.
Thanks for renting to us!

First rental I've had that provided someone to talk to everyday. Ty was so much Help and Eloy our taxi even stopped and got us ice. We had a great time and the house was perfect for us. Close to everything but in a more quiet area. Very close to secret beach (a must go to). thanks Conrad for renting your home.

This is a beautiful home set on a pleasant ocean view, but with that said the home is suffering from issues of differed maintenance. After our first night we woke to no water and found a pipe from the pump had come disconnected and was spraying water all over the uncovered electrical panel. The caretaker made the necessary repairs, but then we had to wait for the cistern to fill back with water. Issues of no water happened later in the week as well. The home also comes with the use of a golf cart which is a very nice feature but this too is suffering from differed maintenance, as are the bicycles. The caretaker is always available to make repairs, but for what you are paying to rent this home these issues should have been addressed long ago. If I return to San Pedro I would make other arrangements.

My husband and I honeymooned at casa nirvana. The owner, Conrad, went so far and beyond to make sure we had an amazing trip! Seriously he was like Mr. Roarke from fantasy Island! (Young people... believe me this is a great thing) He took the time to get to know us and what we were hoping to do on our trip, even before we arrived. Everything was considered, Conrad had arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and had prearranged the driver take us to the grocery store prior to taking us to the home. Susie, the caretaker that lives nearby, met us at the home to greet us. She even took time to give us helpful suggestions and a short list of “must see’s”
This home is lovely and the property is beautiful! After an unbelievable week on the Island, we spent our last 3 days at Conrad’s Jungle property, Kantara Ku, on the mainland. Again, Conrad had coordinated everything to make it amazing! He personally met us at the airport and had arranged for us to go cave tubing even before we got to the property. By the time we arrived after tubing, our luggage was in our cottage and Karen, the caretaker/cook, had already started to prepare our dinner. Conrad arranged to have a tour guide come to the property to ensure we got to make the most of every minute of our time. We were even able to go to Guatemala to tour Tikal! The Jungle retreat was amazing! The animals, the breathtaking views and Karen’s cooking sent me back home just a bit larger than I came.
We could have never had such an amazing trip or have been able to do so many activities without Conrad coordinating everything! He was so thoughtful... he and his staff at both properties made us feel like family. It should also be mentioned that Conrad went to all this time and trouble, at NO additional expense! He truly just wanted us to see and do as much as we could. He wanted to share his love and appreciation for the beautiful country.
I can’t express our gratitude enough. Thank you, Conrad, Susie and Karen for making our honeymoon perfect!!!

We had a great time at Casa Nirvana. Conrad the owner and Suzi the Property Manager were very helpful before and during our stay.
The beach house as clean and appointed nice and the location was ideal for us, not in the middle of the busy noisy town, but close enough to everything we wanted. The house had fast internet and large "Smart TV's" on each floor.
Suzi was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and eat on the island and was able to share with us some "hidden gems" that we would have obviously missed if not for her. She checked in on us just about every day and provided us with a cell phone if we needed anything.
We spent our time enjoying the house and the great beach, which had to be one of the best beaches around, The roof top deck at night enjoying the stars was the way we ended each evening.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Nirvana and Suzi and Conrad made it very memorable and we can't wait to figure when we can return!
