FALSE ADVERTISING!

The room was big, and the beds okay, but that is about it.

HUGE sign on the ad for the property advertising heated saltwater pool. I have rheumatoid arthritis and need warm water to swim. The pool was neither heated or salt water, and I talked to a guest who had been coming there for years and she said it really never had been. Sand and grass in the luke warm hot tub and we asked the property manager to clean it but it was still dirty the next day. No wiping down chairs that were wet and some rubbish on the lawn. When I reported the cool non fresh water pool to the manager, she acknowledged that and told me to talk to the owner, who was very rude and not helpful at all. We have stayed in Ogunquit and Wells in July for less money and found cleaner and more welcoming places. SO disappointing.

It was a good property, but the weather could have been nicer, too much rain for June.

I liked the pool it was very warm, and I liked the size of the room. The coffee machine and kitchen ware was nice. I liked Betsy, the head housekeeper.

The ice machine wasn't hooked up and there was a group of riff-raff type people that housekeeping had to call the police on using. bad language.

Very good

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Carriage House Motel. They went out of the way to make sure we were happy with our accomodations. They upgraded our room to a cottage so we wouldn't have to move to a different room on our second night. The cottage was clean and bright. The location was close to restaurants,shops and the beach. Definitely will stay here again. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable.

First stay

Location, kitchen convenient

AC not on, hot day. Difficult to figure out the AC. The refrigerator was not turned on, and I had cold things. I had to figure this out, as initially I thought it was broken. Pool was green. Message sent to my email with room number and door code, then changed, and did not identify where it was coming from. Never saw a staff person on site. Room was not terrible, but it felt like no one actually prepared the room for the stay. My first stay here, and I have previously stayed at many different places in Wells. Hopefully, these were new summer season glitches...
