Very nice location and stay. I even forgot something and they allowed my friend to go pick it up later that week. 10/5 stars.

The house faces a slow moving river that offers a spectacular and spiritual feeling.
The accommodations were perfect for our get away weekend. It’s near everything!!

This place was amazing! We loved the interior, such great detail and care has gone into building and decorating this place. It was warm and inviting but not overwhelming. The outside was beautiful as well. The view from the fire pit up to the building at night, simply majestic! We definitely plan to stay again, and hope to be there during a snowfall or thunderstorm! It is tucked right on the side of the city, so quick trips to restaurants was the icing on the cake!
Only things I’d note, the water pressure is not the best. The lights from the other cottage shines right through the window of the smaller bedroom. But again, we will come back again.
Thank you for the amazing memories!

We fell in love with our cottage. While I took a couple quilting classes nearby, my husband enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching the wildlife and water. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we could possibly need. We can’t wait to stay again.

Pros: Close to downtown, clean & cozy, great bird watching
Cons: Hard to sleep, mild odor outside (maybe all the Bradford pear trees that were in bloom)
This rental is very cute, and has lovely river frontage. It is attached to another identical rental via a metal walkway, and when the other renters came and when it was very loud and shook the whole house (not because the other renters were being obnoxious, but because these are elevated "tree houses"). The beds were comfortable enough, but the downstairs bedroom with the trundle has a window that lets in the bright streetlight even with the blinds closed (maybe curtains are in order?), and the upstairs bed is in a loft so there are no walls to block the light coming from the beautiful floor to ceiling window that looks out onto the river and lets in all the light from the adjoining rental's spotlight. It was bright enough in the loft that I was able to take a photo of the tree outside the window with no flash. My friend who stayed with me was very bothered by a slight odor outside that I think might have been the Bradford pear trees in town.
The home itself is very cute and has all the basic amenities. The towels are plush, the bathrooms and beds are clean, and the internet is stable. It was really nice to sit on the balcony each morning with my tea to watch the birds (so many ducks!) and listen to their calls.
I would stay here again, but only for a short stay, as I didn't sleep much at all.

Peaceful, serene, beautiful, and CLEAN!!!
The owners thought of everything - even decorated for the holidays, and provided s'mores fixings. It's situated in a curve of the Conestoga River. Just sitting on the balcony and watching the river was so healing. I hope to visit again sometime this year!

We had a wonderful stay in Lancaster on our girl's getaway! The cottage was easy to get to and well located for all our sightseeing...had everything we needed for a great visit. For sightseeing, we highly recommend the scooter tour too. Really fun!

I arranged this VRBO for my husband for a “daddy” getaway. He told me the property was nice. However I explicitly asked for recommendations for dinner, brunch, even provided cell phone numbers and we were met with silence. That was disappointing as I was hoping to arrange a nice time in Lancaster, not just a nice place to stay.

This was a great place for our family vacation to Lancaster. It was super clean and so close to many different attractions. We will definitely recommend this place to our family and friends.

This modern property is in a very quiet, secluded location. Excellent view of the river from the balcony. It provided a nice quick getaway for us. I would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful house in a great location, perfect for us and our Grandson! A few things would have made it a 5 star stay:
1.) The pillows, yikes! Like a rock and 8 inches high. Luckily, we travel enough that we bring our own since this is an issue at other places. With no extra pillows, we would have been off to Walmart to buy something had we not had our own.
2.) The beautiful windows overlooking the river still had suction cup marks from installation. Get them cleaned!

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway. It was just beautiful! We ate dinner on the deck, overlooking the river. In the morning we watched the sun come up and listened to the canopy of birds. The county park nearby made for a great walk and we spent hours kayaking on the river. The huge windows facing the river make for a beautiful layout inside, giving it a modern treehouse cottage feel. The house was clean, neat and had all that we needed. The host is top notch- great communication the whole time!

It was a girls trip. I had two friends join me for an over the top mini vacation. The house is beautiful, warm and welcoming. We loved the deck that overlooks the River. In the eveings we sat down by the river to enjoy the birds and view. Cooked in both evenings and the kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommend this property. The Host is Fabulous
