It was such a pleasurable stay at Anne's place. The booking was supposed to be for 2 but my boyfriend has to attend a bachelor's event. Knowing very little french, it was refreshing to hear Anne talk to me in English. Her husband was also good in English and answered all i needed to know about my stay. Would have been nice as well to have talked to her daughter whose english is superb, but time was not able to allow us. The family was very accommodating, even their beautiful dog!
Technically, you'll be staying in a room in their house. On the outside, you'll only see a cute house with nice flowers and a brown gate. You'd have to get in through the gate and knock on her front door if you wanna check in. Parking on the streets outside their house is free. Once inside, the restroom is adjacent to the room you'll be staying, which is easily accessible. Both the restroom and the bathroom are very clean. The toilets are even prefumed!
The room is provided with a fridge, a microwave, cutleries, plates, bowls, glasses, and even a water heater for coffee or for my cup noodles! It was such a blessing! They even gave me a welcome basket with biscuits, coffee sachets, and tea!
I got an extra blanket to wrap my shoulders in the cold other than the blanket on the bed. Anne even offered to give me more blankets if I'll ever needed to get even warmer!
Another plus on this place is their tv that comes with free prime video! I was able to continue my supernatural series for free!
Her place is also very close to a tram station; longchamp, which will help you get to the city center in no time. Then right next door is a supermarket. Casino Mini Mart and Asian supermarket, is also close by if ever you need anything!
All in all, it was a very good choice to have chosen this place to stay. I felt very welcomed and well accommodated even as a non french. We would have booked for more nights if only her place doesnt get fully booked all the time.
