About this apartment rental
This is a five-star luxury apartment on the top floor of a newly built 5 floor building, luxuriantly and tastefully finished to a very high standard. It has 3 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and is ideally located in the village. It is perfect for families wanting to ski or enjoy the beautiful views and fresh air in the summer, and sleeps up to 7. It has a very large open plan cosy sitting room and kitchen with beautiful 180-degree views over the village and the valley. Tastefully decorated & furnished throughout with underfloor heating, Jacuzzi bath, Stereo, TV with UK & European channels, DVD, Apple TV, high speed internet and an open log fire. It has direct access by lift to a large 15m X 7m indoor swimming pool and sauna for private residents use only, as well as underground parking and a concierge. It was developed and built by a Swiss ski apartment developer who lives in the penthouse in the building, and offers families access to a beautiful traditional Swiss Alpine ski village which has an abundance of excellent restaurants with access to all of the Four Vallees Swiss ski area.Popular in both winter & summer, you can sit on the spacious balcony barbequing your summer steaks or Christmas turkey in the sun , and soak up the atmosphere as para-gliders fly by !
Activities: The village of Haute-Nendaz is set in the Valais region at 1400m .It provides access to primarily the Verbier ski area via the lifts at Siviez, and the rest of the 'Four Valleys', including Thyon, Tracouet and Veysonnaz. This provides an enormous expanse of skiing, with all the year round snow because of the Mont Fort glacier at 3300m . The ski season in the village lasts 4 months from mid December all the way through to Mid April. There is also ice skating in the village, and a sports centre with an outside thermal bath & spa located a short drive away near Sion. Like most Swiss villages it is very busy in the summer, blessed by long sunny days and evenings . If you are a walker then there are numerous trails from the village including the world famous “bisses”. There are 8 of these, 6 of which have water in and were built hundreds of years ago for irrigation. Walk along their tranquil banks through the woods and over suspended bridges. If you like mountain biking, you can hire bikes in the village and there are numerous biking trails.
The Village: The village is only 5 minutes walk away with many supermarkets, boulangeries, and grocers to cater for those who wish to cook. It is generally populated by Swiss residents and Swiss second home owners, plus a fair number of EU based owners and visitors. The village is blessed with a very large number of really excellent restaurants ranging from budget pizza up to top class traditional Valais food ! The night life is good, but this is more of a family resort village than a late night clubbing location. In the summer it is beautiful, and you can while away the sunny days by the pool or in one of the beer gardens, watching the para-gliders land on the green below the apartment !
You can easily walk from my apartment in block C of Domaine des Reines to the ski station in the village of Haute-Nendaz, which takes you up to the Tracouet ski area. The main lift station is located on the upper road in the village and the Domaine des Reines blocks are located just below the upper road. 200m from Block C, is the new Nendaz 4 Vallees Hotel & Spa, at the bottom of which sits on the same level as my apartment block, but the top level of the hotel has an entrance out onto the upper road near the ski station. All you therefore need to do is to walk 200m down a slope from my apartment to the hotel complex and there is a public elevator available which will take you straight up to the upper road, and you can then walk 50m to the lift station. This whole process should take about 5 minutes and if you also want to ski from Siviez instead of Tracouet, you can get a ski bus from the main Nendaz station to Siviez.

Beautiful

The apartment was clean and very well appointed. The view from the wrap around balcony is great. Getting to the ski lifts is a breeze, the COOP and Migros is a 3 minute walk, the restuarants in town are about a 4-5 minute walk. The pool is large and quite useable, it's heated but not warm warm, it's cool when the surrounding area outside the apartment is ice and snow. The sauna is plenty hot! The stay was great, we appreciate the opportunity to stay there, it was a special Christmas with family!

We had the pleasure of staying here for a month. It was well appointed and had everything we could have ever needed. The views are breathtaking and it is an easy walk to all of the fabulous town shops and restaurants. Bill is kind and prompt in his responses. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nendaz.

All went smoothly from first contact with the owner until a sad moment of checking out. Simply unforgettable Christmas in a marvelous place. Just what we all needed.
Thank you.

Beautiful apartment with great view
We had a great time in the apartment. The view is to die for and the property is as described, very nice. Check in is easy and the on-site concierge is very helpful. The landlord was also very flexible in accommodating us when we had an emergency. Overall we had a top experience!

Lovely property in great location
This was the nicest ski apartment we've stayed in with everything we wanted from an accommodation. Located close to the gondola and shops and plenty of space to store skis and boots etc.

Bill his apartment is perfect to stay with six people. It is spacious, fully epuiped (kitchen, entertainment centre and three bathrooms) and really cosy with the fireplace.
It is situated in a well maintained complex with pool and sauna. The views from the apartment are stunning. Short walking distance to the shops, restaurants and ski lift. The information that Bill provides you in his directory is a great help to find your way in the area.
With also perfect wheather conditions, we couldn't wish for more.
We will definitely return and highly recommend this apartment.

September in Haute-Nendaz
We loved the spacious apartment with its 3 bathrooms!
The location is perfect, just above the common grounds with playground and no other buildings blocking the fabulous view. Also, easy walking distance to everything. Overall a great experience and we made wonderful memories!
Since we were there in the off-season, it wasn’t crowded and a lot of stores were closed or had limited hours. Also, ride to Mont Fort is only open on weekends. So check before you go.

Ideal and perfect family stay
This was a last minute arrangement and I recall speaking to The advisor to find me some hand picked apartments .
The apartment was perfect in every way from the stay to the space and most importantly the owner had every single item that one would expect in their own homes. I’m glad I made this choice and my kids absolutely loved it !
Their was a park outside the building and so many outdoor activities for the children. The shops and restaurants were a literally 3 -5 min walk away.
The location is ideal for those who enjoy the mountainous scenery and appreciate the calmness , and the lounge area was perfect to sit and admire nature. Thank you Bill for taking care of us and being a call away !

Large comfortable apartment with stunning views
Perfectly located, Bills apartment is a lovely home from home and then some!! Those views. Stunning
A real luxury to have 3 bathrooms for the four of us! Beds comfortable fab balcony and lovely warm floors
Entertainment centre brilliant and well equipped kitchen meant we had lovely relaxing family nights in!
The pool and sauna was a great way to unwind at the end of a long day skiing 😀
Not too sure about the animal ornaments though. Bit creepy but each to their own. 🤨
Also really missed a heated towel rail to help dry out soggy stuff!!?
Would totally recommend to all groups of visitors for a relaxing quiet and rejuvenating holiday

Cosy and convenient
A clean and spacious apartment with all amenities overlooking the quaint village of Nendaz. Walking distance to shops, cafes and the Ski lift to Tracouet. A fully fitted kitchen with all utensils makes this a very practical solution as a self catering option. A large couch and dining room table comfortably catered for our party of six. There are 2 parking spots with lift access which is very convenient. We will definitely return and can highly recommend this apartment.

Fantastic spacious apartment, a real home form home, close to ski lifts and to shops.
Bill's apartment is absolutely lovely. Spacious and well equiped and with panoramic mountain views. The block is a short walk from the funicular, which takes you up to the telecabine in a couple of minutes. It has convenient covered parking for two cars and more open parking adjacent. The flat is well furnished and equipped like a home. Bill trusts his guests to use many of his belongings in a way that makes it really feel like a home from home. He respond quickly and helpfully to any little queries. There is a quiet pool in the block, with a sauna adjacent, in which we all enjoyed stretching out after a hard days skiing. If you decide to take your own bedding, be sure to tell Bill in advance so the beds are not made up.

Super Woche

Excellent Location Great Place to Stay
Had a wonderful time, this is the second time we have stayed in this apartment and would definitely like to return. The concierge was very helpful and even lent us his car to get to the vets as ours would not start. The views from the baloney were amazing, we was lucky enough to even experience snow in the village which was great for our children.
The pool is lovely after a afternoon skiing, very clean and well managed. The apartment was clean and tidy and fitted out very well.
Access to ski lifts is great just a short walk away, some very nice restaurants and bars in the village also.
Would love to return and spend new year in the village.

Perfekte Skiwoche in Nendaz

Large convenient apartment with premium features
So we’ve stayed 3 years now which says something - fuller review if you scroll down Mar17. Since then new more compact TV/Audio set up with big TV with Streaming Cable and DVD. Jacuzzi had remote replaced with a better one. Someone had put snoods and goggles on the mounted heads, which we liked. The HomeAway site is the worst bit. Big charges, doesn’t cover lines or local taxes for a bunch of Swiss apartments even though it says it does (this one included so budget for). Nendaz has annoying bin (you need special bags) and recycling (no plastic recycling accessible by guests) policies now but not specific to this apartment. Sometimes the pool is just freezing inexplicably, but normally really good. The toboggan hill outside has become a regular feature half for micro skiing half for tobogganing with a mini lift and the piste bully does each morning. I think the best combo for this apartment is if you need the snow crèche, the toboggan slope, and the furnicilar then it’s location is just fantastic. So with the space inside and grandparents and little ones it was perfect for us. Anyway another very good trip

Fantastic apartment with stunning views and easy access to ski lift and shops/bars/restaurants.
The apartment's location is ideal with stunning views of the village and mountains beyond, punctuated by the occasional para-glider floating by. Access to the ski lift is via an elevator which is a short walk to the neighbouring hotel garage. The village centre is also a short walk away with a number of shops, bars and restaurants. Everything has been thought of when equipping the apartment, with a comprehensive collection of equipment, fondue, raclette, extension leads etc., in fact the standard phrase of the week was 'I bet Bill's got something for that' :) The apartment provides a very comfortable space to relax for 6 adults after a long day of skiing/apres-ski and the welcoming bottle of wine was much appreciated after a long drive through France. We'll definitely come back to Nandez at some point in the future and your apartment will be first choice.

A perfect place
We really enjoyed our stay at Nendaz. The flat is very well decorated with everything we needed and even more. The swimming pool in the complex is a great place to relax after a day skiing. Hope we will be back soon. The owner Bill replies very quickly to questions and ensure everything is perfect for his hosts. Thanks!

Excellent vacation in the swiss alps
We decided to rebook this appartment after an excellent experience last year summer. Also this year we were extremely happy with the appartment and our total stay. The accomodations are beautiful and enhanced our stay to enjoy it to the fullest!

Spacious, comfortable with superb panoramic views
This was our second year staying in this chalet, we had a great time last year and wanted to come back again. We love the wrap around mountain views from the living room which are spectacular, particularly when the sun is shining. We were a party of 5 and there was more than enough room, especially with 3 bathrooms in the chalet and the large living space. The chalet is very well stocked with cooking equipment if cooking at home is your thing, but the local restaurants are superb with fondue at La Cabane and pizza at Tchin Tchin being our favourites. Proximity to the lift is great in order to access the Tracouet area, from which you can quickly access the wider Verbier ski area. Nendaz is ideally situated in the middle of the 4 Vallees which allows the option to go "left" to Veysonnaz or "right" towards Verbier. Endless skiing for all abilities. Enjoy!

Best value for money
Over the years we stayed in many places but this apartment ticked all the boxes. Close to the ski lift, spacious and well equipped with good quality items both in kitchen and house. Interior gives the impression of owner living there as well, not that narrow French style where they try to squeeze in 8 people on less than 40m2. Definitely a place to return in new season.

A fabulous place to stay
We stayed for a lovely skiing holiday and were lucky to enjoy blue skies all week. The apartment is in a great location, just a 5 min walk from the funicular that takes to straight to the Tracouet lift or a 10 min drive to Haute-Siviez. The bars and restaurants are also only a 5 min walk, which is ideal.
The apartment is beautifully finished and fitted, with luxury kitchen and bathrooms, as well as comfortable furniture. The entertainment system is high quality and the wifi system works well.
There is a really nice pool and sauna in the basement, which is convenient and very welcome after a day on the slopes!
It is also worth mentioning that the legendary Swiss public transport system means that you don't really need a car. You can take the train from Geneva Airport to Sion and then the bus into Haute Nendaz. As you can access the Verbier skiing valley from Tracouet (albeit it takes longer than the telecabin via Siviez) the whole 4 valleys are available - and a lot of fun.
I
can't recommend this apartment highly enough. I have stayed there before and would definitely come again.

Excellent apartment very conveniently situated for village amenities
Large apartment, netflix and streaming, lots of good provided facilities for making coffee, raclette and fondue. Swimming pool in block accessed from secured key in lift. Right outside is the village sledge slope, the playpark and sports area. Easy walk to the shops and bars. Has big supply of very useful multi gang adapters for plugs of all countries. Stays very warm. Short walk to funicular to get up to lift. Very large balcony all the way round. Gets the sun in the mornings not the evenings. Has good covered parking, but with a slope up to: make sure you have chains to come up the last part of the village road if its snowed heavily or icy. Real fire. Only thing to be aware of is it's decorated with skins and animal heads, high quality, but probably not for you if you're a vegan.

Living like a king!
I had a wonderful week at Bill's place. It was even better than it looked on the photos and video, and the view was just phenomenal, especially in the early morning and in the late afternoon when the setting sun was turning the mountain tops bright pink.
The apartment was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean.
It was also incredibly peaceful: I never heard a sound from anyone else in the block, so had a good night's sleep every night.
With the supermarket 5 minutes' walk away and the funicular to the gondola station even closer, the location was ideal. I could happily have stayed there for several weeks!
