The Space:
Fully embrace the Scandinavian hygge cozy lifestyle in this crisp and clean 3br/2.5 bathroom townhouse! The home's two-story layout features a minimal and clean style with the three bedrooms located upstairs perfect for giving everyone the privacy they need for a great night’s sleep upstairs, while still enjoying plenty of room to connect with your group in the open and social downstairs. For those that prefer the simple things in life, this home is for you!
As you step inside the home you will be greeted by the warm and stylish living room, complete with modern wood paneling and a wood stove in a stone hearth, this space will make you want to snuggle up on the couch after a busy day of outdoor exploring. The living room has comfortable seating options for your group with two sofas, as well as a rug and coffee table warming up the space. Enjoy a relaxing evening in this room as you warm up by the fireplace and watch a movie on the 50” TV. Just off the living room are the open dining room and kitchen. In the dining room, you will find a wood table with seating for 6 next to sliding glass doors that lead out to the private back patio. Step outside and enjoy relaxing in this private outdoor space on the 4 patio chairs while you take in the fresh mountain air. Back inside you will also find a standing desk and chair in the corner of the dining room providing a quiet place to catch up on remote work or emails. Inside the kitchen, you will find everything you need to prepare a delicious meal for your group, as well as a comfortable kitchen bar with three bar stools providing additional dining space for your group. The open layout kitchen/dining room makes it comfortable to stay connected with your group whether you are preparing a meal or snack, or playing some games at the dining table.
Just off the kitchen, you will find a half bathroom for shared use. Conveniently located in this area is also a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer and cabinet space so you can keep up with any laundry needs while on your vacation.
When you are ready to settle in for the night you will find the home’s three bedrooms located on the upper level of the townhouse. The separation of space between the sleeping area and common space makes for a quiet environment for everyone in your group to get a good night's sleep! Head up the stylish floating staircase and you will find the spacious master bedroom directly to the left when arriving at the top of the stairs. The master bedroom is a bright and crisp space with a comfortable queen-size bed in a white bedframe, sconce lighting, and a dedicated workspace in the corner of the room with a standing desk and chair. This room has the added comfort of an attached bathroom, off of which you will find a large walk-in closet. Inside the master bathroom, you will find a single-sink vanity with under-the-sink storage and a walk-in shower. Down the hallway, you will find the two additional bedrooms located next to each other. The first guest bedroom boasts a queen-size bed, a nightstand, a closet, and a bright window bringing ample natural light into the room. The third bedroom has a simple and cozy style with a twin-over-full bunk bed, a small dresser, and a closet. Rounding out the upstairs is the shared full bathroom located in the hallway between the master and guest bedrooms. The full bathroom features a single-sink vanity with above and below-the-sink storage space, and a shower/bathtub combo.

For those looking to fully enjoy everything North Lake Tahoe has to offer you couldn’t choose a better place to stay! Centrally located near the city, beaches, and mountains, whatever type of adventure you are after this home will have you near it all! Several beaches are within walking distance to the home with the beautiful and sandy Bristlecone beach and Skylandia beach a half-mile walk away, both offering amenities such as BBQ areas and walking trails to have a family fun day in the sun. Or, head down the street where you can access a bike path that can take you for a nice stroll in the woods or all the way down the west shore to the famous Meeks Bay. In the winter months, you are 15 minutes from Palisades Tahoe ski resorts, 25 minutes from Northstar ski resort, and less than 5 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic center where you can XC ski and snowshoe. If a little less outdoor adventure is what you're looking for, you are only three miles away from the cute town of Tahoe City where you will find grocery stores, a wide variety of places to eat, cute boutique shops, a movie theater, a beachfront park, farmers market, and live music. This little place has everything you need to enjoy a North Lake Tahoe Vacation!
Getting Around:
Centrally located just off HWY 28 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop you can get by without having a vehicle if needed. Just a three-minute walk out the front door will take you to the public transportation TART stop at HWY 28 on the Mainline route which runs along the entire western shore of Lake Tahoe from Tahoma to the north shore at Incline Village. Or make use of being just three miles from Tahoe City and connect to one of the many bus lines there taking you to locations such as Northstar California Resort or Olympic Valley. The home’s central location provides quick access to the main highway so you can enjoy the many beautiful surrounding areas within a 25-minute drive or less! In the winter hit the ski slopes at Northstar Ski Resort or Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts, both less than a 25-minute drive away, or make the short 5-minute drive to the Tahoe City Nordic center where you can XC ski. In the summertime, you are within a short drive, and even walking distance, to several beaches such as Bristlecone Beach and Skylandia.
Tahoe has many taxi companies, and seasonally UBER and Lyft.

If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.
