We were honeymooning on a budget. Even though we couldn't afford an expensive hotel, we wanted something fun, unique and memorable. Buy did this property deliver! So much fun nostalgia, Americana and kitsch! The bathroom was YUUUUUUGE and beautifully redone. We felt like we were in a really upscale hotel. The room was retro perfection, with a working disco ball! The three nights we spent here while day-tripping to Sedona and the Grand Canyon made our honeymoon feel really special. We hope to return for an anniversary someday!

Perfect, very cute and thoughtful mid century decor. One thing that was unclear was as we arrived we were offered what we thought were " complimentary " beverages. We had a 16.00 charge for amenities on our bill, having not ordered or used anything else, it looks like we were charged for our drinks.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is absolutely perfect! The only suggestion that I have is that they should get rid of those carpets since this is a dog-friendly hotel. This will be easier to clean if accidents happen. I am sure that in time, carpets will start to develop an odor.

This place certainly went all out with a theme. The overall aesthetic of the hotel inside and out is adorable. However...adorable doesn't make up for the on thing that is most important for hotels. Comfort. My main complaint was the bed. The sheets didn't fit the bed so the bottom four inches (near the feet) were just exposed to the mattress cover. Then, the pillows were tiny and square shaped and thick, pretty much unusable as something to put your head on. The bed was quite firm which I usually don't mind but I know others may have issue with. As far as cleanliness they did ok. There was dust behind the bed and along the walls and there were some crumbs left in the shower. And finally, the noise isolation of the rooms is very bad. I was fortunate that I was staying on a weeknight so there weren't many other guests but I could hear every noise the people upstairs made. While I love the overall "look" I will pick somewhere else to stay the next time I pass through Flagstaff.

Fun vintage/space exploration themed motel that suits the attractions in the area, so clever. Nostalgic yet modern without being kitschy, plus it’s on old Route 66. Check in was easy and included a beer which felt very friendly and welcoming. The guy at the front desk was an actual friendly human versus the fake nice at other places. I wish we’d gotten there before dark so we could play cornhole and enjoy the music and vibe of the property. This would be the perfect place to stay for a few days if you’re checking out the area, go adventure for the day and come back to chill with beer, tacos, a pool and lawn games.

Absolutely cute little room with fun decor including a working disco ball, robes, nice tv, in-room coffee pot, even a little ice chest! Outside there was a great pool and fire pit area, along with outdoor concert on Friday night. Plus the most comfortable bed in a motel/hotel I’ve ever slept in! Couple of call outs - the Wi-Fi is totally unreliable and we never got it to work, and had to rely on our hotspot, which wasn’t great bc cell coverage (AT&T) was poor in the area. We talked to the front desk several times and they tried to help, but it never improved. Coffee is in the lobby each morning, but lobby doesn’t open until 8am, so if you’re looking for coffee sooner, take a chance on the room coffeemaker or there’s a Starbucks a mile away. Overall, we had a great visit and the staff were wonderful people.

It’s looks great and fun decor, but lacks functionality. The rooms are dark. The air conditioner is drafty and you hear the people walking in the room above you. cool pool and surrounding areas but no shade to have lunch or a drink midday. pool music too loud and clubby. Was expecting more of a lounge low key experience. Our Tesla Y bottomed out on the speed bump every time. Couldn’t get the charger on premise to work. Great location and fun retro theme. Dog friendly and very nice staff. Comfortable bed.

An adorable little hotel with the perfect amount of funky charm. Decorated to look like it is straight out of the 1960's. Super clean, and the hotel grounds were spotless with games, firepits, and hammocks! The onsite food truck, Baja Mar, was excellent! And did I mention that there was a DISCO BALL in the room? I was obsessed! Would definitely stay here again!

The WiFi and TV were out, but they apologized for it. The staff was always receptive and friendly. The grounds are beautiful. This was our second time here. We like that it is clean, safe, and affordable. It’s close and walkable to restaurants and stores. The downfall- we don’t like the in room coffee. But hey, there are a lot of great coffee and tea places in town. The walls are thin, but it is a retro and renovated classic motel. They know about it and are looking at options for making it quieter.

The hotel is very cool, very retro. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and the grounds were so well kept with a beautiful pool. A real treat on Route 66

Wow I love this place! It’s so well designed and the staff was super friendly. The bed was fabulous and the restaurant on site was delicious. The shower/toilet space was tight but functional. The AC for the room didn’t do a great job of regulating the room temp. It was definitely colder than it said on the thermostat and was a one stage cooler- so on full blast or off. It was rattling a bit which was noisy. I couldn’t stay asleep when it was on. So it got hot in the night. I cleaned the air filters bc of a wildfire hoping that would somehow help, but it didn’t, was in room 225. I bought a bunch of merch to send home. Really wanted to check out the pool and the yard games but didn’t have time. Looking forward to getting back to Flagstaff and staying here again.

NIce hotel. Very stylish rooms. Even had a disco ball in it. Beds good. I got sick and had to stay an extra day. Easy to get that extra day without changing rooms. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. Cool lobby.

Hotel was super clean and decorated so fun. Check in was easy and staff was happy & friendly. Loved all the retro vibes in this room. Only drawback is the fridge in room is super tiny and would have like to be able to store more than 3 water bottles. Other than that, no complaints. Would stay again.

A friendly quirky motel with a great fun vibe. Rooms are tastefully furnished and great value. Sadly there was no body wash dispenser in the showers in both our rooms. Room 135 the toilet roll holder was hanging loose off the wall and neither desk lamps worked. Room 137 one bed side lamp not working and the shampoo dispenser fell off the wall. Maintenance needs to get a grip here. My only other complaint the noise from other less considerate guests in the adjacent rooms, spoiling a nights sleep. This wouldn’t stop us from recommending them or staying again.

This was one of my favorite hotel stay ever! I wish we were staying longer. The decor was so unique and quirky. I loved the vibe. We were given free PBRs on arrival. The cute downtown area with shops and restaurants was a quick drive. We got amazing smoothies at juice pub & eatery and dinner at fat olives.

What can I say? This hotel is awesome. All the colors, inside and out brought back memories of the 60’s. The rooms were top notch. Property was great with corn hole, bocce ball, etc. fire rings, bike rentals. All in all, a little slice of heaven. I will definitely recommend.

None of our rooms were stocked with sufficient toilet paper. The hotel seems to have a practice of only leaving one roll (or a partial roll) of toilet paper in each room. Since they only clean the rooms once every 3 days, they should provide extra toilet paper.
