Lovely historic village with friendly Inn and good food.

Lovely location, friendly staff. Everything very efficient.

Not really a problem for the hotel, but I was kept awake by one of the guests going to their car and playing their music quite loud. Because of the arrangement of the rooms, the cars are parked directly outside the rooms

Andy and Adelle are a lovely couple that make you instantly feel at home .

Not an option but not a problem as the evening meals were fantastic as was the welcome 🤗

Loved the location and the lovely owners and staff. Rooms are a great size. There is a pub that unfortunately we didn't get to go into due to being at an all day event but it lolled lovely from the outside. Would recommend

We booked 2 non refundable rooms through booking.com but then noticed 2 days before that the rooms had reduced in price by £10 each. However this wasn't detriment to our stay

Excellent comprehensively equipped American style motel.

Comprehensively equipped, including refrigerator with water. Like an American style motel. Considerable artistic flair very much in evidence. Lovely quiet village on a small river (River Idle). Limited meal selection, we tried the really excellent pizza., although we are not really pizza fans. Very friendly pub. One can ask for nothing more. Exceeded all expectations Highly recommended! Would definitely use the Angel again if in that area again. Well done

Close to location we were visiting. Lovely village, nice old buildings and church. Friendly atmosphere in pub and beer garden outside. Plenty parking outside accommodation.

The only thing we felt missing, and landlord has said will sort out, was a fan. We stopped on what was probably the hottest day/night of the year and no breeze blowing from opening window! Apart from that, all very comfortable.

Superb

Really nice people, loved the chalet and location n' had a great stay. We will definitely be back at some point in the future most definitely (probably not in the so distant future either). Good value and well looked after. 5* :) Cheers.

We stayed here as a stop over on our way to somewhere else, it had what we needed. Free parking, pub for food and a drink.

Looks a bit tired, could do with a refurb.

What an amazing pub I can honestly say I’ve never been in such a friendly place The food was lovely .. I cannot fault the place fantastic atmosphere and a fantastic friendly pub What a credit to andy adel this little gem of a place I’d loved it and will be staying again ..

Great hosts, comfortable rooms, really good food

We had a warm welcome, the rooms were excellent. Rooms were spotless and facilities too. We had a family meal in the evening which was delicious.

Cosy and welcoming!

Very nice room, great size, comfortable and stylish decor with very cosy bed. Enough teas/coffee/ biscuits. Good selection of tolieteries! Lovely walk with dog along with river 2 mins from the inn.

pleasant separate “building “ for rooms. nicely laid out.

was given the disabled room instead of a standard room. could do with a storage unit but very nice considering. breakfast wasn’t available
