About this house rental
Have a productive, relaxing sabbatical with your base in our beautiful home. Situated on a beautiful, quiet, one way street in one of Buffalo's most walkable neighborhoods, you are a short walk from UB South Campus and a few blocks from the subway, which will take you to the Medical Campus or downtown. Walk to grocery stores (Dash's and the Lexington Coop), cafes and shops. Two green spaces in the direct neighborhood (Burke's Green and Shoshone Park), a dedicated bike trail provides access to the Tonawanda Rails to Trails and other parks - https://www.traillink.com/trail/north-buffalo-rails-to-trails/. A short .75 mile to Buffalo's famous Olmsted Park system at Delaware Park (https://www.bfloparks.org/), with golf course, tennis courts, exercise paths, and the historic Parkside neighborhood. Great open kitchen with nice appliances and Wolf oven, espresso machine. There's a Yamaha Clavichord piano in the first floor entry hall. On the second floor, one bedroom is currently set up as an office and has an adjustable desk and couch. Main bedroom has new queen bed and large closet. There's a double bed and full bath on the third floor, as well as a rowing machine you're welcome to use. There are lots of nice spots to read and a modest private back garden with a spacious garage. Back sunroom has breakfast area, new laundry machines. The children's bedrooms both have desks, 1) has a full bed and reading loft and 2) a bunk bed, art desk. House has many toys and children's books, attic play space and hidden library in the servant's stair landing. It is also a lively neighborhood full of children, dogs, and helpful neighbors.
