Nice proximity to lots of restaurants and walking path. Extremely loud as the the mission bells sound off numerous times day and night. Overall clean place to stay for the value.

One night stop on a road trip through Baja. Love the location! Right in the heart of downtown. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance, and very close to the beach. The room was wonderful! Clean and comfortable. Located directly across from the mission, so you definitely hear the church bells! It didn’t bother us…we had earplugs, and slept just fine.

My husband and I went on vacation to Loreto , Mexico for his birthday, we only stay for one night but we liked it so much that we decided to come back again, I would definitely recommend it, it’s very clean, affordable, close to everything and very comfortable.

Beautiful area, hotel totally adequate for a couple of nights

Easy access to all restaurants & shopping & beach, only thing bottling us is the mission bell, we at right front of the church, the bell rings every hour

Super room right in the heart of town. Had to park the car a few blocks away and walk in but it seemed safe enough and we didn't have any issues. As others have mentioned, the only downside is the church bells dingdonging all the while. It seemed to be at least half an hour out of sync so they could silence them altogether and it wouldn't matter!

Great place!

The check in was unclear. The ‘suites’ were attached to a derelict hotel which threw us. We then asked at the restaurant with the same name and someone got the owner who then checked us in. The room was nice and clean. It had a lovely balcony that looks on the church plaza. The church bells kind of rang at odd times. We joked that we go so used to them we can’t sleep without them any more. Lovely town. Very safe and walkable area.

Great location in the center. The suite had a spacious balcony overlooking the cathedral square. Very comfortable well equipped and spacious room. We would certainly stay there again.

The room has a wonderful balcony overlooking a walking street across from the Mission. The bells mentioned in other reviews only rang at 5:30pm, 5:45pm and 6pm. The bed was very comfortable. The walkway along the Gulf is only a five minute walk
On the second visit, the bathroom floor had some long hairs on it (not mine). A bit more sweeping would have been good. Also, on the second visit, the sheets had some black flecks on them, but they brushed off.

Great location. Spacious room. Comfy bed. We were the only ones staying here I believe. The balcony looks over the plaza across from the Basilica. We arrived a little early but it wasn't a problem. You have to go to the restaurant next door to check-in. Waitress helped us and we appreciated that. Never met who runs the hotel but I did speak with him on the phone when our internet password wouldn't work. Owner said to use the free internet which I never found but I wouldn't use anyways because it would have been unsecure. So, never did have internet which was disappointing. There was a coffee maker that didn't work either. There's a few restaurants in the area to get coffee and a breakfast. There were blackout curtains which was nice but there was no sound proofing from the noise in the halls and the plaza. Fortunately, we liked the music the restaurant was playing next door. It was pretty noisy. Again, I think we were the only ones there which was lucky for us because it could have been much noisier.

It was close to everything and the owner was there if we need anything.

The location is lovely. Parking was a bit of a hassle, in part due to construction work in the area, and no parking lots, only street parking. But otherwise, it was a lovely stay.

Walking distance to restaurants and the Malecon.
The churchbells might be loud for some.

Their credit card system wouldn’t take Mastercard, only Visa. But when I gave them a Visa card they said it wouldn’t go through and I had to contact them. Meanwhile the said cash only. I went to a different hotel.
I hope they figure the credit card thing out because it looked like a nice place and affordable. I’ll try again some other time I’m in Loreto.

Room was comfortable, property owner Carlos was very welcoming. Balcony was nice. Water pressure could be worked on. The church bells go off almost every hour and very early, I was ok with it but can't say the same for my husband. Overall we will definitely come back.

We loved staying here because it was in the centre of everything and gave you a good feel for Loreto. Two thins to remember: the church bells rings regularly through the night so bring ear plugs and their CC machine does not take foreign master cards (visa was fine). But we would stay here again for sure.

Carlos, the manager/chef was exemplary. Loved him and his food. He treated us as though we were beloved family members. Wonderful and inviting. We bought some fish and Carlos cooked it beautifully. Talented chef. We feel as though we made a friend!
The room was wonderful. King sz bed...Mexican sz which means it was huge. The mattress was very comfortable. The balcony was awesome with a swinging chair (in the photo) and table and chairs. They were very accommodating on potable water and gave us bottles whenever we requested at no charge. The bathroom was fine...great hot water. The only item worth noting is maid service, which you have to request...we did not request it so we had no maid service....for 4 days.
Location could not be better. Right across from the Mission church. Finding it was challenging due to the fact the road in front of the hotel is pedestrian only.
The downside. The location. The church has decided recently (within the last month) to play the church bells. Every hour the bells ring longer. Every 15 minutes are shorter bells. Every 3 hours are the bells along with a "song" that lasts up to 10 minutes...6am, 9am, noon, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm. Then no more song until...yep...6am. It is not pleasant being woken up at 6am every day. The hoteliers in the area are petitioning to have the church stop the ringing of the bells. They will probably succeed.
Without the bells, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would call to see if the bells still ring.

Great little place in the heart of town. Convenient to walk to everything. Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. The balcony is huge and faces the cathedral. Very accommodating and kind owner.

A beautiful, well thought out room. Comfortable bed, nice linens, thoughtful touches like water and a nespresso coffee machine. Great location right across from the Loreto Mission, bring earplugs as the missions bells are on their on schedule...

Wow! I don't normally book an unreviewed hotel! However, it read so well, I took the risk! Reality was even better than the photos. Its without doubt, the best location in this gorgeous, quaint town! Our suite was affordable yet luxurious! Brand new, super clean and wonderfully comfortable. Our well furnished balcony overlooked the Mission - the heart of town. A few minute stroll took us along the shaded path to the Malecon and its busy little harbour. While it passes numerous restaurants which are great for breakfast, save dinner for the steak and seafood restaurant next door of the same name. Carlos the owner also runs this - the food is delicious and guests receive a generous 20% discount. Carlos and all of his staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was of the highest quality - and they succeeded. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything you need is just a short stroll - in what feels like the safest and most laid back little town in Mexico.
